On Beach Time 2 is designed for the group that wants to be near the water without being beachfront, and wants the comforts of a well-appointed home without any of the usual beach rental trade-offs. Mornings start with the screened deck — coffee, the Gulf stretching out ahead, not a bug in sight. The beach is a short walk once everyone's ready. When the sun peaks and the sand gets hot, the screened deck becomes the coolest spot on the property — shaded, breezy, perfectly positioned for lunch from the grill and an afternoon siesta in the lounge chairs. Remote workers will appreciate the dedicated computer area tucked into the main floor, with a view that makes conference calls feel almost tolerable. Evenings at On Beach Time 2 are the best part: the screened deck at golden hour, followed by the master suite soaker tub while the day unwinds entirely. Don't forget — you're on beach time.

The main level flows beautifully from a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances through the dining area and roomy living room with sectional sofa and large Smart TV — all opening directly onto the screened deck with gas grill and full outdoor dining and lounge setup. Full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located on this level, along with a half bath and dedicated computer area with ample storage throughout.

Full private use of both floors. Barrier Dunes community amenities — two pools, tennis and pickleball courts, freshwater ponds, and private beach boardwalk access — all included for guests. No pets, please.

Why Kids Love It

2 community pools, chance to see wildlife such as dolphins, turtles, ospreys and bald eagles. Great place to ride bikes in the community for younger children and 8 miles of bike trail (one way) for teens and up.

Area Information

This townhome is located in the gated community of Barrier Dunes. It is located just outside the gates to St Joseph Peninsula State Park. The park is a great place to explore and enjoy hiking trails, surrounded by St Joe Bay on three sides.

You can rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs and more from Scallop Cove or Happy Ours on the Cape. The Cape has 10 miles of bike paths.

If you need a few groceries or beach items, visit the Cape Trading Post or Scallop Cove (on the Cape). They also have great ice cream and fresh donuts, and Hunts Brothers pizza.

Inside Scoop

Turtle Season is May 1 thru October 31. You could get a glimpse of the sea turtles and their hatchlings.
Bald eagles also nest on the Cape. Be on the lookout!
