Rental Property Disclaimer
By signing the lease agreement for this property, the tenant acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1. Compliance with Rules and Regulations: The tenant is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations established by the condominium association, the building management, and the lease agreement. Any violations resulting in fees, penalties, or other charges will be the sole responsibility of the tenant.
2. Damage to Property: The tenant will be held accountable for any damage caused to the apartment beyond normal wear and tear. A thorough walkthrough will be conducted at the start and end of the lease term to document the property’s condition. Any damages identified during the final walkthrough, not present during the initial walkthrough, will result in deductions from the security deposit.
3. Fees and Deductions: Any fees incurred due to violations of condominium or association rules, breaches of the lease agreement, or damages to the property will be deducted from the tenant’s security deposit. If the security deposit does not cover the total cost of these fees or damages, the tenant agrees to pay the remaining balance within 14 days of receiving an itemized invoice.
4. Security Deposit Use: The security deposit will only be refunded after a satisfactory final walkthrough and verification that no rules were violated,no damages occurred, and no outstanding fees are owed.
This disclaimer forms a binding part of the lease agreement, and by signing, the tenant confirms their understanding and agreement to these terms. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in additional legal or financial consequences.
