Easy access to beach from this UPDATED HOME with a remodeled kitchen that has everything you will need! Gulf Front home with fabulous water views in our 3 bedroom/3.5 bath Town home. You are just steps away from the beautiful white sand beaches of Cape San Blas, which “Dr. Beach” previously chose as the “Best Beach” in the country.

Purchased by new owners in Jan. 2012. Kitchen has been remodeled with all new cabinets, stainless appliances and granite counter tops! Most of the furniture was replaced January 2012. Our home offers tile floors on the main level, luxury vinyl flooring in all bedrooms, updated sofa and love seat, dining room furniture, Flat Screen TV’s, mattresses, and bedding.

This home offers 1 king size master suite, 1 King size bedroom, both with a private bath and gulf side balcony. A third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a private bath. The spacious and fully stocked kitchen is a perfect place to prepare family meals that can be eaten on the large deck while watching amazing sunsets. Laundry closet is located on the 2nd floor with a full size washer and dryer.

Barrier Dunes is a gated community that has a gulf front pool, a second solar heated pool located near the 2 lighted tennis courts. There are also 3 fully stocked man made ponds, a playground located on the property, club house and a wonderful community to walk your dogs. They have pet stations conveniently located throughout the property.

We are a dog friendly unit. 1st dog is $100 with the 2nd dog adding $50. Monthly rates are $25 per week.

About the owner: Hello, we are Kelvin and Katie Brents and we live in Dawsonville, GA. We hope you will enjoy vacationing at CSB as much as we have the last 20+ years. We have given our home at CSB the extra TLC you would give your own personal home.

We have enjoyed vacationing at CSB for over the last 20 years with our two children, family and friends. We refer to Cape San Blas as our 'Happy Place'. After spending a month at Barrier Dunes for Kelvin's 7 year sabbatical we decided it was time to take the plunge and purchase a gulf front town home. We are very excited to share our love of this beautiful area with you.

Our favorite thing to do at CSB is to swim, play Boccie Ball, cook family meals together and watch the amazing sunsets! I know it may sound a bit sedentary, and it is, but there are also many activities available on the Cape. With the state park just around the corner you will find fabulous fishing, boating and a great place to walk or ride on the bike trails that line the Cape.

This was our first stay at Barrier Dunes, and the condo 'Easy Livin' was fantastic! So very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for the week. This condo has it all - location, direct beach front, beautiful furnishings, super comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and nothing beats drinking a cup of coffee in the morning as you sit on one of the balconies and watch dolphins in the ocean.

We arrived to a beautiful beachfront condo that was super clean, nicely decorated, and had great views from the upper bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything and more that we needed to fix our meals. The beds were super comfy, and the bathrooms were updated and clean. Access to the beach was easy, and just steps away from the condo.

We regularly rent on the Cape and specifically in Barrier Dunes. This townhouse was very well stocked and organized. The owners have carefully considered everything anyone would need for a comfortable and peaceful vacation. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked and everything was in its place. We will definitely recommend this unit to friends and family. It was a home away from home.

This condo is in an excellent location (right on the beach and the views from the master bedroom are awesome). It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated.. and the kitchen was well stocked.. I didn't run into any situation where I needed something that wasn't there.

This was our family's first trip to FL Gulf Coast. We weren't sure what to expect as other VRBO rentals have ranged from nice to needs updating. Easy Living was a wonderful surprise. The home is clean & beautiful, with complete updates to all rooms. As someone who cooks a lot, I was delighted to find a well stocked kitchen which made preparing meals for my family a breeze. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, my husband and I realized even more so than our own! In the evenings all 6 of us fit comfortably in the living room. Unfortunately, the cable box was not working during our stay. The owners responded immediately and had someone come over, within the hour, to see if he could repair it. We had several questions during our stay and the Brents responded to my emails within 15-30 minutes, they were responsive and accommodating every step of the way. The ocean view from the house was spectacular. We will definitely be going back!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The owners have taken great care to stock the unit with anything you could possibly want...inside and out. The beach access was ideal...very close and east to get to. We went with another couple so we really liked that the unit offers two masters with private bathrooms. Only drawback was the blocked ocean view from the lower level deck, however, both bedrooms had awesome views. We would definitely recommend this unit to others!

This is a homey, comfortable condo with private boardwalk right on the beach and next to the pool! Perfect location. The views of the sunset were incredible. It was set up perfectly for swimming, beaching and family board games.

The Brent's condo was our home away from home for the week. It had everything we need in the kitchen, clean sheets, washer and dryer, plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards. The condo was a very short walk to the beach, best located in the complex. We also appreciated the updated baths and tile floors.

We are very happy to have found the Forgotten Coast. We have vacationed in many spots along the Emerald Coast of the Florida over the last 20yrs, from Ft. Walton to Destin to Seaside. Cape San Blas beats them all hands down. Oh yeah, no high-rise condos to look at, simply awesome! Barrier Dunes & the Easy Livin' condo exceeded our expectations. This was simply paradise for our family, which included my wife and I, our three grown "kids", grandma and our little Cavalier Spaniel. The condo was very comfortable, with room for everyone to spread out. It was well supplied, the Brents have thought of everything: plenty of dishes, glasses, cooking amenities, etc. All appliances worked great. Don't worry about bringing beach chairs, they have plenty! I would recommend bringing a canopy/tent for shade at the beach, but we managed fine with a couple umbrellas. The balconies off the bedrooms and the family room were fantastic for relaxing while listening to the ocean waves or just doing some reading. Gas grill on the deck got a workout, as we used it quite a few times. Access to the beach was easy, just down a flight of steps, over the walk way about 25 yards and right to the sugar white sand! There are multiple spots for washing off sand before going back into the condo. The pool is close by and was great if we needed a break from the ocean. We weren't sure about bringing our little furry friend, but it worked out great. Barrier Dunes is dog friendly and everyone cleans up after their pets, we never encountered any issues. One of our favorite things to do at night was to build a firepit on the beach, can't do that in Destin! Those will definitely be some of our favorite memories, chilling on the beach around the firepit. The Brents supply a nice spade shovel for helping with the effort. We arrived fairly late, but were able to hit "The Trading Post" about 4 miles away, which had a little bit of everything you could need/want (including fire wood.) Make sure and pick up some fresh, warm donuts at least once from there, they were amazing! Get there early though. There is Piggly Wiggly grocery in Port St Joe, about 25 mins away for the big grocery run.The stairs would be the only challenge I would see for some folks, but we didn't have any issues going up and down. Simply amazing condo and destination at CSB! Thank you Brents for allowing us to experience Easy Livin' for a week! We will be looking to come back for sure. Patrick B. & family from Mason, OH

Fantastic Week

Best rental I have ever stayed in. Well kept, well stocked, and clean. Accommodations were perfect for my family (spouse plus two 12 & 14 year old daughters) and my parent’s. Owner very responsive. Beach was out the door which made for easy in and out. Spent a lot of time on back deck eating meals and listening to ocean when not down at the beach. Wished Barrier Dunes or Port St. Joe had recycling facility. Checked all surrounding towns and no options. We hung onto to glass and plastics hoping to have room in our van. Sadly, with 6 in mini van no room. Certainly not at all owners fault just wish community had an option. Miss the morning and evening beach walks and family friendly atmosphere. Hope to return someday soon.

We cannot wait to return to the Barrier Dunes Townhouse!!

My husband and I booked the Barrier Dunes townhouse for the last two weeks in March. We had a great time!! The townhouse is directly on the beach so the two bedrooms that face the Gulf of Mexico have amazing views. You feel like you can reach out and touch the water!!The house was beautifully furnished with updated bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. We have never stayed in a rental home that was so completely stocked with cooking equipment and supplies. Furthermore, the deck on the main floor also was great for sitting outside and eating meals. We used the grill several nights to cook fresh fish purchased locally.This is not our first time staying in Cape San Blas. We love the beach. It is always amazing and seems to go on forever. But the Barrier Dunes complex is right next to the St Joseph State Park. So, we had great access into the park and its facilities as well. I was able to collect a lot of beautiful sea shells as I walked the beach each day.One of our friends who is disabled joined us for one week. He was not able to use the typical beach chairs, so we rented a cabana for the week. The cabana was delivered to the beach each morning and taken away each night. So, he had a wonderful time sitting on the beach watching the waves and the dolphins swim by.We hope to return to the Barrier Dunes townhouse is the future. Katie Brents was great to work with us. I highly recommend booking the townhouse if you have an opportunity!!
