1830 sq. ft. Kingfisher Cay is a newly renovated, beautifully designed, property boasting an outdoor covered patio, heated pool, and a games area with tiki hut, life sized connect four and corn hole. The one story bungalow has three bedrooms; one king, one queen, and one room with two twin beds. All bedrooms have televisions and their own modern full tile bathrooms. There is also a pull out premium memory foam mattress in the living room and a premium blow up mattress which can be added to the master bedroom to accommodate children. The property is perfect for two families with children or six adults.
Kingfisher Cay is equipped with a chef's kitchen, all appliances, drip coffee maker, wine fridge, beverage fridge, bbq, and washer/dryer. The large and comfy sectional couch in the living area provides a perfect area for family movie night after a long day at the beach.
Located on a canal and equipped with two kayaks which guests can use to access Palma Sola Bay with excellent fishing and common dolphin, manatee, and ray sightings, Kingfisher Cay is in an ideal proximity to a host of water and land activities. We're next to Neal Preserve and Perico Preserve which provide excellent walking trails and access to an incredible abundance of wildlife. You'll find a bike trail across the street from the development which provides access to Anna Maria Island and the many beaches, shops and restaurants the island has to offer or Palma Sola Causeway Park which has a boat launch, sea-doo rentals, horseback riding and several other recreational activities. Or, you can opt for the shopping and amenities of Bradenton and Sarasota.
Feel free to load up the wagon and beach chairs and head over to Holmes Beach, or stay at home and enjoy the heated pool and games area. At luxurious Kingfisher Cay, the options are endless and the choices are yours!

JohnWe really enjoyed our stay with Cheerful Rentals. Jeff is a fantastic host who was always responsive whenever we had an issue, and he also gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area.We did have an issue with the air conditioning during our stay, but Jeff was incredibly helpful in trying to get it resolved and, importantly, made sure we were comfortable while it was being sorted. In the end, everything was resolved and we were able to enjoy a fantastic holiday.The area around the house is lovely and peaceful, while still being just a short drive from the bars and restaurants on Bridge Street and the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island.We would definitely stay with Cheerful Rentals again and would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

RickyJeff was a responsive and frankly easy to deal with host. Property was modern and well thought out. Finishes and fixtures made it feel very welcome. Pool area is exactly what you need but plenty of privacy to soak while being on the water. Would 100% stay here again and look forward to it. Island feel with quick access to mainland for necessities and close to the Island for the beach. Thanks

SilviMy family always seeks peace and privacy, and we found it here. The social area with its integrated and very well-equipped kitchen allowed us to spend time together as a family preparing homemade meals. The heated pool and fishing from the pier provided us with a fun way to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. The beach, shops, and restaurants are all within easy reach. Jeff and Shandra were friendly, attentive and responded promptly to our inquiries.

HollyThanks so much for a wonderful place to stay during our vacation! This was our first time in the Bradenton/AMI area, and we were blown away by this house. It was gorgeous, super spacious, and had everything we needed. Jeff and Shandra were amazing hosts - they responded to our messages super quickly whenever we had questions.The area itself is so charming and serene. The pool was perfect after a day at the beach. We used the kayaks a few times and even spotted some dolphins! We’d definitely come back and stay here again!

StaciWe had the best week at Kingfisher Cay! Jeff and Shandra are incredible hosts — they were proactive in their outreach, responsive when questions came up, and their unique touches made our stay feel special.The property is delightful and manages to strike the perfect balance between luxury and function. It’s so quiet and peaceful, and it’s fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay.We were traveling with 5 adults, a teenager, and 2 kids under 11, and we had plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the pool and we used the kayaks several times (and saw dolphins!). We were 25 minutes from Coquina Beach (plenty of parking, shade, and a beautiful beach), and just a few minutes from the Robinson Preserve (if you have kids, be sure to check out The Nest and The Canopy — so fun!). There are plenty of restaurants/stores nearby as well.Highly recommend this property for a great stay in Bradenton/AMI-area!

We entered the spacious kitchen and gorgeous family space with very nice tv's for our Detroit Lions & Michigan State games! : ) The bedrooms were welcoming, with the most comfortable beds! I was a little concerned with the last hurricane and debri throughout the neighborhood but the home was in perfect condition and fit all our needs. The location was close to the AMI beach for beautiful sunsets, walks to the beach and Publix. The outdoor space was our favorite and we appreciated the full laundry room and supplies too. I couldn't have asked for more, great hosts. Highly recommended!!
