Plenty of fishing lakes nearby, Lake Marian is one mile away, other lakes are Lake Kissimmee, Cypress Lake, Lake Jackson and Lake Kenansville. Lake Okeechobee is approximately 50 miles south. There are two Public Management Areas 15 minutes away: Prairie Lakes 8,859 acres and Lake Jackson, Three Lakes 54,611 acres. These areas are open year around for public access. Fishing, hunting, are available with the proper licenses/permits, wildlife and nature viewing. Miles of dirt/improved roadways for easy access. "Wild Florida" located at Lake Cypress is 23 miles north on Canoe Creek Road, they have the Chomp House restaurant, airboat tours, gator park, and many other attractions there and close by.

Attractions Within Walking Distance

There is the Silver Spurs Rodeo Arena on the north side of Canoe Creek Road. They have events several times a year.
