Candace W.The place was well decorated, very clean and well stocked. It was great to have 3 on suite bathrooms plus another. Great location with off street parking. Melissa was incredibly responsive immediately and thought of other things to make our stay better. Even had a dog bed and treats along with a gated dog run.

AlecGreat place to stay. Had 3 couples in the house with plenty of space! Great location as most things are within 10 minutes of the house. Very responsive host. No problems at all and would recommend this place to stay. Would come back again without hesitation!

It has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, our stay was affected by cleanliness and maintenance issues.Pros:Excellent locationNice property overallComfortable, stylish furnitureNice area for our puppy to enjoyCons:The unit was extremely dirty upon arrival. The floors were covered in a thick layer of dog hair. We vacuumed and emptied the machine three times, but the floors were still not clean.Dust and pet hair were on much of the furniture.The AC unit inlet was covered in layers of dust, indicating it had not been cleaned in a long time.The bedroom fan was also covered in dust, making it unusable.The AC unit in the master bedroom is extremely loud.The toilet leaks and refills every half an hour, disturbing sleep.The front door does not have a latch for added security.Hair was found in the basin and on the bedding.Floor carpets had dog hair and brown stains.The oven was dirty from previous use.The interior walls display numerous scuff marks and mismatched paint, which is a shame given the property's potential for improvement.Owner response:The owner was notified about the cleanliness issues, but only apologized. No cleaner was sent back, and no cleaning refund was offered, which was disappointing.

Gabriela10/10 stay—beautiful home, perfect location, and everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. Positive: We had an incredible time! I went with my family (all adults, no kids), and the house was perfect for us. It’s super comfortable, with spacious rooms, and each bedroom has its own private bathroom, such a luxury! The location is also excellent, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and more. Everyone in my family is already asking when we’re coming back! Negative: Honestly, nothing. Everything was great!

NathalieFrom beginning to end, this stay was 5+ stars!! We booked this house for a family getaway for 6 adults and a baby, and Melissa was AMAZING and truly went out of her way to ensure that our entire trip was fantastic. She was so accommodating and the house was gorgeous! We all enjoyed our stay very much. There was a high chair at the house for the baby, and the dogs enjoyed the dog run. We walked to downtown several times for meals and to walk around and explore. Highly recommend Melissa's gorgeous home if you're visiting Sarasota. We can't wait to come back!!

LoriMelissa’s place was wonderful! She was quick to accept our booking which was much appreciated as we were displaced because of the hurricane. She also was very accommodating and flexible. It was nice that we could bring our dogs. A huge relief to find this place after searching for a property that they were welcomed. Fabulous dog run on property as well as a lovely park with duck pond across the street. The space is so comfortable! Everything you need is there. The location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants and very walkable. Thankfully to have found a safe, comfortable place to stay for all of our family. Thanks Melissa!

JessicaOverall we had a nice quiet stay at the house. It is removed from the downtown area, so definitely plan on a car or bikes. Nicely decorated and spacious but some things could be improved, which we raised with the host at the end of our stay. Specifically, there was some kind of gnat/ant/bug infestation in the kitchen. We had to throw out our new cereal as one morning we realized it was full of tiny black bugs. None of the floors upstairs had been cleaned. They were full of giant dust balls and couldn't walk barefoot or your feet would turn black. Same with the balcony. Only one of the fans in the balcony turned on. Chairs out there were very dirty with black dust. Bed posts upstairs not attached to bed frames and they fall over. The TV armoire downstairs had two giant, sharp nails sticking out of each door- not ideal with our baby. careful on the staircase, two steps go around a corner with no handrail. crib we needed was unavailable but host thankfully remedied the situation!
