Welcome to The Bett's House where the elegance of a bygone era blends seamlessly with the conveniences of modern living in this luxurious 3500 Sq Ft home. Built in 1913 this luxurious home has been remodeled and designed with your comfort, rest and relaxation in mind. The main floor features three inviting sitting areas, a cozy game nook, a full bathroom with with large soaker tub, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, a dining table large enough for everyone to sit around and enjoy a meal together, a classic butler's pantry with beverage fridge and a convenient laundry room with access to our amazing backyard, and that's just the first floor. Upstairs you will discover 4 large bedrooms with three luxurious king beds, a cozy queen bed and two sets of bunks - perfect for families or groups. You will also find four beautifully designed full bathrooms, including three spacious walk in showers and a relaxing soaker tub. Every guest will enjoy both comfort and privacy. Downstairs step through the beautiful French doors into outdoor luxury. A gas fire pit surrounded by cozy seating, a propane grill and outdoor dining area, a three-hole putting green and a heated above-ground pool spa. The entire space is enclosed by a privacy fence and enhanced with ambient night lighting - perfect for enjoying every amenity, even after dark. Immerse yourself in all downtown has to offer with it's charming shops, rooftop and waterfront dining, unique boutiques, and the scenic Riverfront, just steps from your front door. Walk to our incredible downtown. Purchase tickets for the Gulf Coast Water Taxi and skip the traffic, while enjoying great views on your way to Anna Maria Island's beautiful beaches.
We offer self-check-in, eliminating the need for an on-site key handover. Detailed check-in instructions are sent to quests 24 hours prior to their arrival. Each quest is assigned a unique door code, granting them access to the home throughout their stay.
Walking Distance to Fun, Food and Shopping:
Main Street in downtown Bradenton, boasts the charm of Old Florida, with its boutique shops, local restaurants, and the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays – October – May - from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Enjoy local farm fresh fruits and vegetables, local eats, crafts, art and more.
Along Main Street are many restaurants, whether you want to sit inside, enjoy the warmth of the afternoon sun, or the evening breezes, the choice is yours. You can even shop at any of our local businesses supporting the work of local artists. Take a look through our historic downtown hotel which was redone to keep its original looks, while updating it with all the modern conveniences.
At the end of Main Street, you find our Marina, where you can enjoy the salt water breeze, while you sit and relax on one of the benches. Eat at the restaurant on the pier – Pier 22. Enjoy lunch or dinner on the rooftop of Oak & Stone, where you can enjoy spectacular views of Manatee River or even catch the sunset. Our downtown library is also there. And NEW to the marina is our Gulf Coast Water Taxi. Do you want to enjoy all that Anna Maria Island has to offer, commonly referred to as AMI, but don’t feel like driving? No worries, park downtown and catch the ferry. Where you will enjoy a peaceful ride on the waters, see some beautiful homes along the way and arrive on the Island in style.
Our newly expanded Riverwalk has so much to offer. From parks, including a water feature, a playground, an outdoor exercise area with equipment and suggestions for a workout, sand volleyball courts, and a skatepark. Along the walk you will find benches, and even swings to sit and enjoy the views.
Downtown, you will also find our Bishop Museum of Science and Nature. And within walking distance is our Village of the Arts, where local homes have been converted into whimsical shops, and eateries, showcasing local artists.

We walked to dinner and to the Gulf Island ferry for an AMI day trip, then enjoyed the yard, swam, did some putting and sat around the fire pit. 10/10 weekend!

One of our favorite dining spots was Pier 22, a beautiful waterfront restaurant right on the Manatee River.For beach lovers, Manatee Beach on Anna Maria Island was just a 15–20 minute drive away, depending on traffic. We visited several times to swim in the crystal-clear Gulf waters and catch one of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. We even had the magical experience of spotting manatees swimming by—truly unforgettable!

We walked to close by restaurants and enjoyed the river view along the river front. We rented e bikes from a local company that we really enjoyed. Highly recommend. Beautiful home.

CherylMy family was in FL for my elopement. This home was perfect for our party of 12! Plenty of room without being on top of each other. Kids loved the spa pool. I LOVED the view running along the pier every morning. I looked forward to the sunrise and seeing some dolphins. We also walked to a couple of great restaurants and ice cream shops. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The location was perfect for our needs being close to Anna Marie island and St. Pete. I would definitely stay here again. The only tiny item would suggest would be adding a Keurig coffee maker in addition to the coffee pot for convenience.

KristiThis home is beautiful, and was perfect for our big family. The porch is so welcoming. We really loved sitting out front and being together.We had a large crew and the number of beautiful bedrooms and full bathrooms ensured everyone had privacy.The area is so fun - walking distance to a riverwalk that offers so much to do, from biking to exercise area, sand volleyball and a park. Plus, we saw so many dolphins. Great restaurants and cute shops. Everyone loved the coffee spot around the corner too. So charming!We were able to cook great dinners and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.It really was a perfect spot for our crew. Added bonus that we had family rent another one of Randy's rentals right next door so we could bounce back and forth.Randy was so responsive and thoughtful. Every detail was accounted for as we traveled from PA for a long weekend.Hoping to be able to get back for another stay.

ChristineMy family absolutely loved the Betts House and the quiet neighborhood adjacent to the Manatee River where it is nestled! The home was so beautiful inside and out and very nicely decorated. We especially loved that all the rooms in the home were so spacious, creating many options for areas to sit and read a book or socially gather with a small group. And the amazing wraparound front porch and additional side yard sprinkled with a sauna, fire pit and putting green were a bonus!! The 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were beautiful and spacious as well. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms with the updated fixtures were outstanding. Additionally, there is a riverwalk and an historic main street aligned with wonderful restaurants, bars and boutique shops to frequent within walking distance so that you never need to move your car. We highly recommend this amazing home and plan on staying here again the next time we are visiting Bradenton…. it will not disappoint!!

MicheleRandy’s house in Bradenton is beautiful. It was perfect for our family wedding week. Getting into the house was problematic until Randy solved the problem which took til late in the evening since we were to meet family in St Pete that night. A hurricane 2 weeks prior left the house with no wifi which we did not know til we arrived. We were told to bring in a delivery of a new wifi box and connect it ourselves. After reading that you needed to download an app, I contacted Randy and he said he couldn’t be there until the next day which was the day of our daughter’s wedding with all of us getting ready. He tried again to offer to connect it a couple days later but by that time most of our family was leaving. We had way too many conversations about that. We were also asked to take the people who stayed there before us trash out. Which was a first for us. The house was perfect but there were too many issues that we have ever had to deal with at a vacation rental.

DebraGreat home and location! Home was as described and had plenty of space for our four families that came together for a soccer tournament. Loved the various sitting areas, common areas and outdoor spaces. Walking distance to great restaurants, highly recommend Pier 22 and Oak & Stone rooftop. Riverwalk trail was a great start to our day. Items or needs brought up to the property manager were rectified or addressed almost immediately along with great communication.
