Esther J.Nice place, quiet cul de sac
-The house was all lit up and the music was playing on the TVs when we got there. Very welcoming! The house was spacious and we loved that there are two king masters with attached bathrooms and sliders to the outside. I would’ve loved to have screen doors to enjoy the beautiful weather though. The queen bedroom uses the main hallway bathroom. The bunk room off the kitchen was great. The washer and dryer were great, there were a few things in the closet for beach, not in good shape though. Bring your own. -The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and coffee cups. The pots and pans have definitely seen their share of wear and tear and need to be upgraded soon. -The beds were very comfortable! -The back patio was nice to look across to the golf course and watch golfers. Unfortunately for them, many of them hit their balls into the water! The MANY turtles were a major hit with our grandkids (and me)! It’s important to note that you should feed them things like lettuce or the tops of strawberries, not other kinds of people food. The tree frogs are insanely loud! We thought there was a dog yapping next store but it was a tree frog! -Unfortunately, the patio furniture was pretty old and not very comfortable to sit on and enjoy your coffee in the morning or for dinner outside… especially compared to the neighbors. We would’ve sat outside as a family a lot more if the furniture was nicer. We wished we would’ve had screens for the sliding doors because the weather was so beautiful it would’ve been nice to have the doors open. -The Platinum Properties management team was very quick to respond to any requests. I broke a glass coffee pot when washing it and they brought a new one the next morning. The vacuum handle broke on the vacuum (cheap dirt devil but it did ok) and they replaced that within the next couple of days. The ice maker quit working and they came the next morning and fixed that. They were super helpful and communicative! We rented the entire month of April, this didn’t all happen in one week! -The local pool is super close. Quick ride to the grocery. -The golf cart was super handy to have, but it was worse for the wear. The buckles were rusty and rigged by wrapping them around the handle, not so great. I noticed some golf carts had no buckles. And some golf carts were WAY nicer. -All in all we enjoyed the house and location very much, however we will rent somewhere with a better golf cart because we want our grandkids safe!
