GREAT LOCATION: You’re across from the beachfront pool and only 75 feet from the boardwalk onto the pristine, white-sand beaches of Cape San Blas FL. If you would prefer the ramped walkway, it is 100 feet from your front door. $35/day credit for beach gear rental for stays starting March 1, 2023 (stays of 3-21 nights). Get bikes/kayaks/etc. delivered to help you enjoy your stay!

Barrier Dunes is located right outside the gates to St Joseph Peninsula State Park. Take a hike through the park on one of their nature trails, and discover the beauty of St Joe Bay, surrounding the park on 3 sides!

After you’ve spent the day enjoying the white sand, pet friendly beach of Cape San Blas, you can relax at the direct beachfront pool (one of two pools in Barrier Dunes), or play a quick match at the lighted tennis courts (the only courts in Cape San Blas), before heading back out to the beach to take in the incredible sunset! Barrier Dunes also has 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, boat parking and washing area, and pet stations & boardwalks throughout!

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen (down to the spices), living area, dining area, breakfast bar, flat-screen cable TV/DVD in den and all bedrooms, High-Speed wireless internet, central heating and air, three to four decks (main having a gas grill and propane), pet gate on back deck, full washer and dryer (laundry soap provided), outdoor washing area to rinse those sandy toes and paws, covered parking for two cars, and are non-smoking.

It is located right outside the gates to St Joseph Peninsula State Park. The park is a great place to explore and enjoy hiking trails, surrounded by St Joe Bay on three sides!

Barrier Dunes has 2 pools (One is direct beach front!), lighted tennis courts (the only ones in Cape San Blas!), 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, pet stations, boat washing and parking area, and boardwalks throughout

You will need a car to get around, however, Cape San Blas has a great biking trail--8 miles one way.

If you're looking for a quiet family and pet friendly vacation spot in the Florida Panhandle, this is the place to be! Avoid the crowds of Destin and Panama City! Cape San Blas doesn't even have a traffic light!
