About the owner: My husband and I are both retired nurses. We purchased our first home in the villages in 2017. We rented it out as we were still working in Georgia. We had such a great experience, we purchased a second home in 2019. That house we totally renovated from floors, walls, bathrooms and kitchen. It had an enclosed lanai and a jacuzzi.
In 2022. I retired and we moved to Florida and moved into the first home we bought. We sold the second home and bought a larger one and renovated it from floors, added walls, bathroom and kitchen. That is this home. We are very proud of it.
Unfortunately, once we moved to Florida, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and after surgery, chemo and a slow decline, she passed away 12/23/23. Then, very unexpectedly, my husbands mom passed away 1/23/24.
So we are now renovating the courtyard villa we had moved her to in 2021 and taking one day at a time without our loved ones.
We have 3 children, who are all grown, and 2 shetland sheepdogs.
Why this property? It's newly renovated, an excellent location and fully furnished.
