Siesta Key sand. Mainland ease. And yes, your dog is invited.
Here's the problem with staying on Siesta Key itself: bridge traffic, circling for parking, paying $300 to $600 a night, and most condo associations won't let your dog through the door.
Here's the smarter play. This freshly renovated 2-bedroom, 1-bath condo sits in a quiet, well-kept community on Clark Road, about 10 minutes from the powder-white quartz sand of Siesta Key Beach. Same sunsets, same beach days, none of the island gridlock, and hundreds of dollars staying in your pocket every night.
Inside you'll find bright, airy interiors, a king bed in the primary, two twins in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa, comfortably sleeping 6. The fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace, and TVs with full cable service make it just as good for a month as for a weekend. Step outside to your private fenced patio, perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, or letting the dog stretch out, then take a short walk to the large heated community pool.
The location works harder than a beach address ever could. You're less than 5 minutes from the Tamiami Trail (US 41) for cruising the Gulf Coast, a quick shot to I-75 for painless arrivals and day trips, about 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota's bayfront and arts scene, and you can walk to restaurants and shopping right from your door.
Perfect for beach weeks, snowbird seasons, remote work stints, and corporate stays. Monthly guests get the cleaning fee waived entirely. Self check-in via secure lockbox, free parking on premises, and beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella included. Just bring the sunscreen.
Unique Benefits
Your dog gets a yard. A private fenced patio all your own, something almost no condo in this area offers. 1 to 2 small dogs welcome ($20/night per dog).
Beach access without beach traffic. About 10 minutes to Siesta Key via the south bridge, and you come home to quiet.
A real heated pool a short walk from your door, swimmable even on cool winter mornings.
Walk to dinner. Restaurants and shopping about 0.1 miles away. No car needed for tacos.
Free on-premises parking, a luxury the island can't offer in season.
In-unit washer and dryer, so sandy towels are handled and you pack half as much.
Work-from-paradise ready with fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace.
Crossroads location: under 5 minutes to US 41, quick access to I-75, 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota, 12 miles to SRQ airport.
Why Kids Love It
Start with the pool. It's heated, it's big, and it's a short walk from the front door, which means morning swims before the beach and evening swims after. Siesta Key Beach itself is a kid's dream: the quartz sand stays cool underfoot even at noon, and the shallow, gradual Gulf entry is perfect for little swimmers.
Closer to home, Livingston's Amusements (about 2 miles) delivers go-karts, arcade games, and rainy-day rescue missions. Urfer Family Park has playgrounds, nature trails, and fitness stations for burning off energy, and Red Bug Slough Preserve nearby turns an ordinary walk into a wildlife hunt: turtles, herons, and the occasional gator sighting from a safe distance. Add mini golf on the way to the beach, ice cream in Pinecraft, and a fenced patio where the family dog can join the vacation, and bedtime comes easy.
Welcome to the smart side of Siesta Key. The condo sits in a well-maintained, established community on Clark Road, one of Sarasota's most connected corridors, combining comfort, peaceful surroundings, and an exceptional location, with a large heated community pool just a short walk from your door.
Everyone wants Siesta Key's beach. Nobody wants Siesta Key's traffic. From here you're about 10 minutes to that famous white quartz sand, close enough for a spontaneous sunset run, but you come home to quiet streets, free parking, and room to breathe.
The location is a launchpad for the whole region: under 5 minutes to the Tamiami Trail (US 41) for running up and down Florida's Gulf Coast, quick access to I-75 for day trips to Venice, Anna Maria Island, or St. Pete, roughly 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota's bayfront, St. Armands Circle, and the arts district, and 12 miles to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Convenient location to beach, shopping and attractions
The condo was conveniently located close to Siesta Key and other beautiful beaches. The condo was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and other attractions. The fenced in backyard and walking path were great features for our two small dogs who traveled along with us. The owner, Douglas, was very personable, professional and accommodating. We appreciated Douglas and Gener going the extral mile to make our stay wonderful.
