Perfect Setting!

Suite #2 was the perfect setting and was everything and more than expected. The suite and the patio area are comfortable, quiet and well-furnished. Any needs or questions were quickly responded to. The view of the ocean from the unit is gorgeous. The beautiful white sand beach is unbelievably close to the suite - just a few steps out the sliding door. We enjoyed daily walks and shell collecting going both directions along the beach. We also enjoyed taking chairs to the beach just to watch and listen to the waves. Watching the colorful sunsets from the beach is a must! There are several good restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. The trolley stop was close enough to walk to and riding the trolley to get on and off anywhere on the island was easy. We definitely recommend staying here whenever visiting Anna Maria Island!

Home away from home

This was our 2nd year staying at Sailfish Gulf suits and it did not disappoint. We’ve stayed in a rear unit and this year a front unit. Both were amazing. I have to remind myself I don’t have to bring bath or beach towels or much of anything else because the units are fully stocked, clean and beautiful. I will never stay anywhere else

Cute Retro Motel Doesn't Disappoint!

Just enjoyed a wonderful week at the cutest retro Motel (with only 4 Suites). Bright, white and ultra clean. Retro decorating with every modern touch. And best of all its right on the most beautiful beach. Our suite (#2) faced the ocean....we were able to watch the sunset from the lovely patio every single night. Did I mention how quiet it was too???!!Thank you for sharing this gem. My husband and I will definitely be return guests!!

Clean, walkable to several restaurants and shops

We really appreciate how clean the suite was! Spotless. Loved stepping out from the patio directly to the beach. It’s nearby to several restaurants and shops. We walked several places to get food, and it was great!

Fabulous Vacation!

This is our second year staying at Sailfish Gulf Suites and we loved every second of it! The home is clean, has all of the essentials to make the vacation easy, and yes, the proximity to the beach cannot be beat. If you’re looking for the ultimate Anna Maria laid back experience, Sailfish Gulf Suites hits the mark. An old Florida 4-plex on the beach, our suite offered everything we needed. Attentive, hands-on owners continually update this property. Extra bonus goes to lovely and friendly guests who share the small complex. Unique patch of private beach with chaises just steps from your door. A few steps more and you’re on the shimmering public beach with plenty of room. Conveniently located near Publix and many fine restaurants, Sailfish has made us feel at home for the past several years. Gas and charcoal grills, contemporary patio furniture and comfy beach chairs with umbrella are provided. Outdoor shower. Private parking, walkability in the area. Quiet community even in high season. No complaints just rave reviews for this hidden gem.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We stayed in Suite 2, Gulf Front View. The unit was clean and inviting. Great place to shop and relax. Private beach access was a definite plus, not far from public beach which has entertainment and food. The patio out front was very nice with tables and umbrellas. The trolley that runs the island is also a great benefit. Would highly recommend.

Our December Home!

We very much enjoyed our time at the Sailfish condo. We have stayed here several times and each time we have had a great stay. The location for us is perfect as we enjoy being able to walk to many places and also catch a trolley. The amenities provided are just what we need. The location to the water, beach, sunset,,, all amazing!

Perfect Ocean Front Cottage!

Perfect location! Steps from the beach, 3 blocks from the Publix and CVS, and 3 blocks from 2 different trolley stops and 2 different restaurants. The rental is exactly as the pictures show--modern and comfortable. All of the provided beach gear is clean and next to new, plenty for all 4 units. We would definitely stay here again!

A little hidden treasure that opens to the ocean!

The Suite was everything we were told. It was clean-spacious and the decor was classy, thoughtful and welcoming. Our views were amazing-peaceful and almost never ending. It is centrally located which allowed us to drive less and enjoy more.Our host, Tamie, was kind and responsive and our stay was wonderful. If you are looking to unwind-enjoy the ocean in all its wonder this is a great place to stay.We will be back!

Paradise on the beach.

We had a fantastic couple of days on Anna Maria Island. The accomoadation is one of the most amazing apartments we have ever stayed at. Decor was fantastic, so restful right on the beach what more could you want? Everything you would ever need to have a very relaxing time. Sadly we had to leave before our time was up as there was a hurricane heading our way. But the people who look after the property were very informative and gave lots of advice so we felt very safe and Tammie was in constant communication with us so there was never a problem.We will be back for sure.

Everythinbg was exceptional!

Everything was top notch, clean, comfortable. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. It was sad to leave. Dishes from pier 1, self-closing cabinets, comfortable king size bed, beautiful decor. Spacious, open, bright. Quiet area. Beautiful clean beach raked each day. A stone's throw to the beach from the house, magnificent sunsets. I truly enjoyed my stay and I will be back!

Amazing Family Vacation

This is our second time staying at Sailfish Gulf Suites and it didn't disappoint. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips from beach chairs and umbrellas to toys for the kiddos. We felt right at home and the kiddos were asking to come back after day one!

Adorable ocean front cottage!

Sailfish was the perfect spot for our group of three families. We all enjoyed our own space while having the flexibility to spend time together whenever we chose. Sailfish provided all chairs and umbrellas which we utilized daily. To our delight they also had boogie boards, sand toys and over various floatation devices. We grilled and ate all of our evening meals outside on the veranda. The sand is powdery smooth and the ocean is the quintessential blue of the Gulf. We are already making plans to come back.

Well Deserving of 5+ stars!!

Sailfish Gulf Suites exceeded our expectations and provided us with a wonderful experience on Anna Maria Island. The beachfront suite was extremely clean, beautifully updated, comfortable, spacious, and just a great space to relax and enjoy the ocean and its beautiful sunsets. It is perfectly positioned on a private beach and nicely tucked away. It was also such a great location for walking to shops, groceries, and ice cream!! :-) The owners, Emilio and Lowella, were delightful to communicate with. They both providing the best customer service we could have asked for. I can’t say enough great things about them and how they take care of their guests. So many personal touches that made us feel so special. Thank you for an amazing time, and for providing us this opportunity to make memories to last a lifetime! Thankful we already booked our spots for next year!! We can’t wait!

Gem on Holmes Beach

We accidentally stumbled across this property by using Google maps. We inquired rather late, so we were surprised to learn suite 2 was still available. We were not sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at the location (right on the beach) and the cleanliness of this suite. It was great for just the two of us. It was also very tastefully decorated and was well equipped. It was also just four units, which made for a quiet place and lots of privacy. Maybe the only drawback was that is very near the public beach access, so on sunny days the beach became quite busy in front of our suite.
