Wonderful stay and experience!

My husband and I stayed for a week in early April and didn't want to leave! Lovely and comfortable accommodations, perfect for 2 people. Can't beat the view and it was great having nice beach chairs and umbrella available. Highly recommend!

Perfect Paradise.

So many good things to say about this place. Immediately my boyfriend and I were blown away with how beautiful it was, not only the view but the place in general. We loved every moment of our time here. Being footsteps away from the beach was amazing, everything is less than a 5-10 minute drive. We did use a rental car but saw the trolley everywhere we went, it’s just always nice to have a car for groceries, if you need to go inland more, etc. The suite had everything you needed. We are already talking about booking the Sailfish Gulf Suites again next year and then a family vacation the following year. It really is a hidden gem. The Island is so peaceful, we had coconut drinks delivered to us on the beach from AMI coconuts (highly recommend), the Beachhouse restaurant was so yummy, and don’t forget to check out The Doctors Office for AMAZING drinks and food, we stopped at skinny’s burger place for lunch before we left and it was so yummy (walking distance), the donut experiment was really yummy for a sweet breakfast treat, Bridge Street had all of the shopping and restaurants you need, the Sandbar was a yummy dinner spot too. We plan to go to many more places we couldn’t this year, next year on our trip. Overall we had the most relaxing time and wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Stay!

We just spent a week for our 20th anniversary. The condo was so cute, the location is awesome! Everything was perfectly set up and immaculately clean. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Island Cottage

This is our second stay at this perfect little house on the beach. I counted this time and it is 46 steps from the time you step off the patio till the beach starts. Amazing! The suite is clean, had everything you need as far as kitchen(2 kinds of coffee pots!!), bathroom(blow dryer, lots of towels), very new beach chairs & umbrella (plus beach towels) plus a washer/dryer that you share with the 3 other suites. All of these extras are great when flying in. Beach days were great, sunsets were amazing and lots of great places to eat. We will definitely be returning for a third time our next stay on Anna Maria Island.

My week in paradise.

Another perfect week at the Sailfish, Suite #1. My suite was super clean, cozy and I really love the full kitchen. Whether I was sitting on the patio or on the beach which is just steps from my door, I enjoyed the beauty of the Gulf and all its wildlife. This is the perfect spot if you love the beach and relaxing. Every night you can watch the most breathtaking sunsets you'll ever see, right from your patio. Sailfish Gulf Suites never disappoints. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful beach vacation.

Fantastic location with amazing views. This propert is perfect for someone who wants to go to the beach, watch the beautiful sunsets and just relax. Everything you need is provided. This area has so much to see and do. Great spot so glad we found it and were able to capture the beauty of the area. Definitely going to recommend this location!

Wonder Place

We absolutely love staying at Sailfish . Very beautiful view and comfy bed . Everything you need to enjoy a nice beach day . Towels umbrellas chairs . Nicely stocked with pans and things you need to cook with . A gas and charcole grill . A nice place to sit outside to eat your meals or enjoy a beverage while looking at the beautiful views. The owners are very nice to deal with. Highly recommend .

Modern, clean and walk right out to the beach!

2nd year here. Love this ground level, walk right out onto the beach property. Beach vibes and family friendly area. Very clean and modern, and conveniently within 10 minute drive from either Bridge St. scene to the south, or the North Shore scene (Pine Street area.) When you just want a good burger and a frosty mug beer, you can walk across the street to Skinny’s. Awesome burger! Publix grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, pharmacy and liquor store along with other stores 1 minute drive away. Highly recommend this place!

Hidden Gem

This was our second time staying at Sailfish, we love the property and hope to visit it again in the years to come. Location on beach is perfection and the suites are clean and comfortable. The decorating is welcoming, charming, and just the right materials for a beachside property. In addition, appreciate how soundproof each unit is. The property has everything you need for a day at the beach; umbrellas, chairs, plastic cups, cooler, and sand/water toys. The path to the beach is just the right size too. It’s far enough for privacy but not so far for access and it’s just hidden enough to keep other folks from meandering on to it. Publix is within walking distance as is Skinny’s if you don’t feel like cooking. For fresh local seafood and sundries, suggest going to Island Fresh Market AMI. Also, so grateful for the use of laundry facilities! Especially when travelling with kids, it’s truly a blessing. Thank you!

Fall getaway

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Sailfish Gulf suites! Stayed in Suite #1 and it couldn’t of been more comfortable unless we were at home. Suite had everything we could possibly want making our stay even better. A very comfortable up to date living area. The Back patio was very nice with a great view and just steps to the beach. Suites are located in a perfect area and a short walk or drive to everything. Restaurants in area were very good and never had to wait long to be seated. We had perfect weather all week and the beach was beautiful with the sunset right out your sliding door. The Chairs and umbrellas supplied to use were really nice and we spent everyday sitting on them at the beach. Overall it’s nice to know this piece of tropical paradise is just a few hours away by air from home and we do plan to use it again in the future! I Highly recommended this place!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Another perfect week at Sailfish Gulf Suites! The suite is beautiful and has everything you need. Can't ask for anything better than to walk outside your suite and be steps from the beach. The patio is inviting and a perfect place to have your morning coffee/tea, as well as a nice cocktail while enjoying the perfect sunset over the Gulf. I am a repeat customer for many years and I am never disappointed.

Don’t miss this little bit of paradise!

If you are looking for a great place to stay on AMI, look no farther. My husband and I have stayed at the Sailfish for 10 of the last 13 years, only moving to other locations during years it was being sold or renovated.We have stayed there the past 2 years, following extensive renovations, and have been thoroughly pleased.Here are some of the reasons, you’ll enjoy your stay here. It’s very clean. The beds and furniture are comfortable, and the decor is updated and fun, appropriate for a beach vacation. It’s a 4 unit, ground level property, so you don’t have to lug your groceries and suitcases upstairs. The kitchen includes all the essentials, as well as outdoor grills, to cook meals if you decide to eat at home while you watch the sunset. The units have keyless entry and share a nice washer and dryer. The patio provides great gulf views, and includes a table and 4 chairs for each unit. The Sailfish is my favorite destination for pure rest and relaxation!Still, there is one more important benefit to staying at the Sailfish. Location, location, location! The Sailfish is only a few blocks from the Manatee Bridge, which reduces the time spent in traffic. You are about 2 blocks from Publix, the only grocery store on the island, and within walking distance to drugstores, some restaurants, a few shops, the Beach Cafe, and several trolley stops.In addition, the Sailfish has beautiful landscaping surrounding it, and is directly off the beach, about 120 steps from the water’s edge! You have a nice view of the Gulf from the patio, but the owners have designed landscaping which provides a more private, less windy beach (on the occasional windy day) complete with lounge chairs close to the rental units, and you can always take one of the beach chairs a few steps farther and spend time on the public beach. I can’t say enough positive things about the Sailfish. It makes me happy all year long, because any day I’m not at the Sailfish, I’m remembering my previous visits and anticipating my next one!

Beautiful suite #1

Suite#1 met all my expectations and more. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Parking was great and there was a nice instruction book that explained everything you could possibly need to know. They had everything needed for a day at the beach and much more. Sailfish Gulf was extremely easy to deal with and made the whole booking process very simple. This vacation was perfect and I will definitely use this property again in the future.

Absolutely Amazing!!

We stayed at Sailfish in Unit #1 and absolutely loved everything about it! The decor was beautiful and the Unit was so comfortable. It has everything you need to have a stress free vacation! Being able to walk right onto the beach from our front door was priceless! Perfect location, close to Publix, CVS, and a short distance to many great restaurants! We will absolutely be staying again!

Amazing place

We loved our stay at Sailfish suite 1. The view was amazing . We loved watching the sunsets every night . We seen manatees and dolphins right from the beach . It was very nice that beach umbrellas and chairs were supplied . We love taking the free trolley that goes up and down the island every 20 minutes. My husband loves that you can go for dinner and a couple drinks and not have to drive . We love to eat at the AMOB on the pier . Located within walking distance of the Walgreens Publix and CVS . Very nice people who own the place . Would highly recommend staying there. We also enjoyed a wonderful restaurant called The Chart House in Longboat key . Great early bird specials we had a amazing night there with family .

Clean, modern, and very comfortable stay right on the beach!

This is an awesome property! Sliding door goes directly out to the beach. This is a very clean, modern, and comfortable place with very nice ambiance. Very close to grocery store and other stores nearby, and within 10 minutes or so from many restaurants and the main Bridge St bar and restaurant action. Simplistic and modern in design, and again, you look right out the sliding door to the beach. Great sunset watching room! You won’t be disappointed!

What an amazing place

We stayed at Sailfish Gulf Suites for 2 weeks and couldn’t ask for a better location. The unit was just as described and as pictures showed. Everything was clean and was well stocked. We were just steps from the beach and the sunsets were the best. The 2nd night we were there the a/c went out. I called Emilio and he responded right away. Told us to go ahead with our plans for the evening. He kept me informed of when he got someone to agree to come, when they were on the way and when it was fixed. All this at 4:00 on a Friday. By the time we got back from dinner it was up and cooling. The coded locks are so nice, no keys to keep up with. And the shared laundry was a newer set and clean. We will be back.

Perfect Family Vacation

We couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Sailfish. Easily the best spot on Anna Maria Island. The suite was beautiful and well accommodated for our family of 4. Lovely path to the beach and walking distance to the grocery store. Everything we needed was on site. Traveling with children, loved having access to a washing machine and dryer, thank you. The restaurant recommendations from Emilio and Lowella were appreciated and accurate. Communication was excellent. Truly a perfect trip, will be hard pressed to travel anywhere else for future beach vacations!

We didn’t want to leave!

Suite #1 at sailfish gulf suites was incredible. The layout was perfect for our small 3 family. The small attention to detail made it for us, the note welcoming our family, the adorable decor, closeness to the water, picnic tables right out our front door where we ate so many of our meals, so many things the list goes on and on. We had everything we could have needed! Thanks to Emilio and the crew who makes this place run so smoothly. It was a dream to stay for a week. We will be back!

Heaven

Just Paradise. We enjoyed our stay so much within the first three days, I booked another trip next year. The units are so nice, newly remodeled, cozy, and offer everything you could need for your stay. The veiw of the ocean from the units are spectacular. During our stay, we saw dolphins, manatees and lots of birds right from the patio. We rented a golf cart and really enjoyed exporing the island, it is the easiest way to get around. The owners are very responsive and helpful, the welcome gift on the table was so thoughtful. We felt like we were in heaven, from our unit (#1), the warm ocean breezes and we were just steps to the beach which made our vacation enjoyable and unforgettable. We cannot wait to return next year and many years after that. Thank you Emilio for everything. We will see you next year.

Perfect place!

First time in FL and first time renting a place on the beach. We would always book a hotel or resort. Did not know what to expect. Well this place was amazing, exceeded all expectations, very clean and equipped with everything you may possibly need. The location was the of all, right on the beach, could watch an amazing sunset right out the window. Emilio and Lowella are amazing hosts! Emilio helped us immediately solve our transportation problem one day and even offered to help. Thank you and will definitely visit again.
