Thank you for considering Plumeria Point with Sugar Sand Stays our newly renovated Marco Island home as your next family vacation! We are excited for you to experience all that Marco has to offer. This island has the most gorgeous beaches, beautiful water, and delicious restaurants!
Our completely renovated home features all new furniture with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open floor plan that totals over 1500 sq ft. We have a king primary suite with built in office space for those who still need to get a little work done while in paradise. The primary also has a huge walk-in closet and your own en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed also with ample closet space. The third bedroom is perfect for our younger guests featuring two bunk beds. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combo with two sinks. The two guest bedrooms have the additional benefit of added separation from the main living space with an extra door to close off the noise (I mean fun happening) from the main living areas of the home. While we welcome children please know that our home is not baby proofed. We do provide a pack and play and high chair for your convenience.
The open floor plan allows for a very inviting family experience. The main living space features plenty of seating around a large screen TV. Off the living room is a cozy game/sitting area with lots of fun family games and puzzles! (We even have Marco-poly and a puzzle map of Marco Island!) The bright kitchen has all new appliances and quartz countertops with bar seating for 2. The kitchen opens to the dining room area which can seat up to 6 people. (leaves available for additional seating)
The dining/living room feature 2 sliding glass doors that open to an expansive enclosed private lanai. Enjoy lounging by the pool and getting some sun on our 2 pool loungers or pool floats. If sun is not your thing we also have a shaded area where you can enjoy relaxing watching your favorite sporting event or show on our large screen TV. Sit under the outdoor fan and enjoy a nice dinner at our brand new patio table which has seating for 8! At night, grab a comfy seat and turn on the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the sitting area! You could even book a fishing charter for the day and bring your local catch home to grill on our new Weber grill. You really can enjoy the best of both indoor and outdoor living at Plumeria Point.
If you want to head to the beach, it is only a 5 minute car ride away. We have a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, beach blanket, coolers, and sand toys for you to have a fun filled day exploring the breath taking sugar sand beaches of Marco Island!
We are centrally located in Marco Island so everything is only about 5-7 minutes way from the house. The new Publix is only 2 minutes away. You can even take advantage of a new FREE bus service that will take you anywhere on the island. Use the two bikes to explore the island and visit the many shops and restaurants that Marco has to offer.
Marco Island is our home away from home so we welcome any questions to help you plan the perfect family holiday. Need recommendations on renting bikes, scheduling a fishing charter, or renting a boat with a captain to take you out for the day…let us know! We can make any recommendations you need. We are here to help you have the most memorable vacation for you and your family or friends!
Parking: You can park one car/suv in the garage and two in the driveway. Per Marco Island code you can’t park a trailer or boat in the driveway. You can park a small RV in the driveway as long as it is not covering the sidewalk. You would have to obtain a free permit from the Marco Island police department and affix it to your RV in a conspicuous place. If you do not have the permit the property will be fined on a daily basis and the fines will be taken from your security deposit.
Cameras: We have one camera on property. It is the ring door bell at the front door. The rear camera on the pool patio is OFF during your stay for privacy reasons. We have it as security when the house is empty.
NOTE: As per the Transient Rental Noise Control 30-90.9
Any noise shall not be plainly audible for a period of one (1) minute or longer at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. daily and at a distance of fifty (50) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., daily.”
Security Deposit: A $1000 Security Deposit HOLD will be accessed to your credit card on file two days prior to your stay. This is NOT A CHARGE, it is a hold for violations of the ordinance or damage done to the property during your stay. The hold will be released 5 days after your departure if no violations/damage is found.
Cancellation: If you cancel within the Fully refundable period you will get a full refund minus the processing fees.
NOTE: Pools are heated to at least 85 degrees but the heater only works when the pool motor is on. It does not run 24 hours a day. It will loose some temperature overnight and once pool heater turns back on it will heat the pool again up to the set temperature. Most Heat Pumps automatically shut off when the temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent damage.
NOTE: Use of bikes are at your own risk. We do not inspect them between each renter. If is the renters responsibility to inspect the bikes and deem them acceptable for your own use.
NOTE: Please be aware that If you DO NOT purchase the travel insurance offered and you get sick/have flight issues/weather issues/etc and cannot make your trip you will not get your money back.

About the owner: Hi my name is Kristen and I fell in love with Marco Island about 5 years ago. I started visiting my parents in Naples and would venture a little south to the gorgeous sugar sands of Marco Island. After several vacations there my husband and I decided we wanted to make Marco Island our home away from home. We now own two homes there, and visit several times a year.
We are so excited to share our homes with you and we know that you will fall in love with everything Marco has to offer.

My husband, dogs and I had the pleasure of staying at Kristin's Plumeria Point home for 2 weeks. The house is very cutely decorated. But most importantly super clean. She is a very responsive host. Everything is in good working order. The house is very well stocked with everything you can think of or need. The kitchen has all the equipment, dishes, appliances you could ever need if you want to cook. There is also a gas grill . The pool and lanai is beautiful. The pool was clean and warm. There is also a gas firepit in the seating area making for a cozy place to have a nightcap. There is plenty of seating on the lanai and also a dining table. The layout of the house lends itself to privacy with the bedrooms being on opposite sides of the house. Just a short drive to the beach. The house has plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, beach wagon that are all in very good shape. Our stay was super fun and relaxing because she has thought of literally everything. Would definitely rent from Kristin again. Thanks again for letting us stay!

This property is rock solid in so many ways. It’s located on a nice lot that is clean and nicely landscaped The interior decor is modern and in good repair. The living area is comfortable and inviting. The kitchen has excellent appliances and is well equipped for meal prep and serving. The bedrooms are ample in size with comfortable mattresses which of course is personal preference. Bathrooms are clean and towels were newer and ample in number. The patio area has a small but well heated pool and small water fall feature that was very soothing while enjoying the outdoor living space. The patio furniture was outstanding including a large dining table which made outdoor eating very enjoyable. Weber grill was in great shape and propane “ fire place” was sweet. Screened in patio combined with perimeter fencing made for a private and secure ambiance. Washer/ dryer is super 4 bikes are available but the tires were under inflated and multiple air pumps didn’t work but don’t worry, if you like to ride a bike on vacation, inexpensive bike rental is available with drop off delivery. Bike paths allow you to ride to play pickle ball or get groceries or just cruise the island. This property and Marco Island in general exceeded our expectations. Just book it , but leave some time for me.

The 4 of us really enjoyed staying here. The house is in great condition, super clean, and spacious. Sometimes the pictures are done so well that it almost oversells the property but in this case, they are on point. We rented a golf cart and took it everywhere while parking it in the garage. Some rentals I have stayed in are a little thin on kitchen items and other things we often need but this place had everything and it was all very tidy. The beds were comfy, the towels were nice, on a quiet street, and the pool area was perfect. I could go on. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Very nice house with nice decor and good layout. Looks according to pictures, we were a family of four and perfekt for a family vacation. Maybe the pool looks a little larger on the pictures than in reality but good size to bath in anyways. The house is very close to YMCA sports club so perfect if you want to play tennis, good availability too. About 30 minutes walk to the public access of the beach so good with bikes. We visited over Halloween which was celebrated in the neigborhood and a very nice experience. Can recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plumeria Point was just as described if not better, very clean and well equipped. There were many extras available to make this an enjoyable vacation, perfect for someone flying in for a stay: pool floats, bikes, beach chairs, coolers etc.. Kristen was helpful, quick to reply and personable. Cocoa Beach is a great place to be and we will definitely stay in any of Kristen’s homes again!

We only had a few days to take advantage of this beautiful home. Since we like to swim later at night, Kristen accommodated our schedule so that the pool would be warm later than usual. The kitchen was set up so that multiple "cooks" could prep food at the same time. We used the grill one evening and didn't have to worry about running out of propane. I thought it was very generous that they reimburse anyone who needs to get a refill. We were there to look at a home to purchase for ourselves, but if we ever need a short-term rental, I will know to contact them directly.

Kristen was a great host and provided everything and anything you needed for a relaxing stay. Her home was clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend friends and family to her home and we would love to come back again! Our favorite parts were the pool, of course, puzzles & games around the table when it was raining, the outdoor tv for a spooky movie night outside since we visited near Halloween :) and the closeness of amazing restaurants & the beach. The home appeared brand new; everything was spotless. Very comfortable beds, sectional, and the seating for 4 was perfect. The lanai and pool are where we spent the most time because it was so relaxing and beautiful. Lounging in the pool with the waterfall and night lights was heaven on earth. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The lights and fans were a little tricky at first, but we figured it out. The make-up wash cloths were a great surprise. This house was a joy to stay in. It was nicely remodeled with modern amenities. It was impeccably clean and the layout is perfect for a small family. The pool side setup was nice to lounge in and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The beds had great mattresses that didn't leave you missing your own! It was conveniently located on the island and was a short trip to all the great things to do on the island.Kristen did a great job on communicating when they had to schedule any visits from maintenance and was a pleasure to work with. The house at Plumeria Point was very cozy and felt like home from the first time we opened the door. I was impressed at how clean it was as I am all about a clean home. Kristen had the kitchen well stocked and even asked me if there was anything else it might need. I suggested an electric griddle and within a few days here comes an electric griddle. The first home we have ever stayed at that had an abundance of nice, new, bath towels and washcloths. Kristen had the house decorated very nicely. We loved the pool area and outdoor furniture and tv for watching March Madness. Great location too! We will definitely stay again sometime when we return to Marco Island.

Howard L.Totally Epic Place To Stay
Have been renting places to stay for 20 plus years. This rates up there with in the top 4. First off, the host Kristen is nothing short of spectacular. Very responsive to any questions or concerns and she gave us holiday lighting displays to go see on the island and also informed us about the boat parade. The house was exactly as advertised and the pics don't do it justice. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. The kitchen is well stocked and made cooking a breeze. The linens and beach towels were great. The beach chairs, wagon and umbrella came in so handy. So nice having a washer and driver in the garage. The pool was great and was warm. They advertise it as a heated pool and based on previous experiences , we weren't expecting to be able to use it, but it was a great temp and all 7 of us got in it everyday. The porch area was awesome and spent most of our evenings out there.
