About this rental
Your searching is over. You have found the beach house for your next beach vacation! The Fin & Tonic at over 2,600 square feet heated space with five balconies (two of which face the gulf and are extra wide) provides plenty of space for your next family vacation! Two master suites both with king sized beds face the gulf. There is a queen bedroom with its own private balcony. And there is a bunk room that comfortably sleeps four.
The beach is only a 3 minute walk!
Our house is conveniently located next to the community pool. It is right across the street from our driveway. The community is small with currently only 11 homes.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house. You should also find a healthy supply of beach supplies (umbrellas, etc.) that guests use and leave.
Interaction with guests
I will send you the door codes and other helpful info around ten days prior to your arrival. I try my best to respond to your texts or messages ASAP .
Other things to note:
NOTWITHSTANDING anything to the contrary, if due to order by the State of Florida or Gulf County, we are prohibited from renting the property or the beach is closed to the public due to pandemic related issues during the above rental period, the Guest(s) will be entitled to a 100% refund should the Guest(s) choose not to come.
We just bought this property in September of 2018. If you find we are missing something you need, let me know and I will consider buying it.
At least one member of the group must be 25 years old or older.
Area Information
Our beach house is a first tier beach house located in the San Dunes community. The San Dunes community had virtually no damage from Hurricane Michael.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fin and Tonic. It is a beautiful, well equipped home within steps to the beach. The king size bed could not be anymore comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to cook and bake during your stay. We felt like we were at home due to all the comfortable furniture, large screen TVs and speakers to enjoy some music. This house met every need we had, from the comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, distance to pool and beach, it was all phenomenal. Brent was a joy to work with and kept in close communication. Unfortunately we didn’t get a lot of water time because of Sally but with the big open living area, everyone had a great time playing games, eating, reading, TV - all together, which is what I love. There were tons of beach toys, chairs and an umbrella that we used at the pool for the one day we had (it had a post to insert it) One thing I always look for in a rental is enough seating - if you have enough beds for 10 people you need enough seating for that in the living room, dining table, and porch. The Craig’s place met all these needs and more. Thank you Brent!

Brent’s Coastal Cottage was an absolutely perfect place to stay for vacation. The kitchen is well stocked to cook at the home since there are not many restaurants on the Cape, however, there is an excellent seafood market about a mile from the house. The home is beautiful and clean. We used the elevator to send luggage/groceries up/down which was quite useful. The beach is literally a 2 minute easy walk including a boardwalk from the house. The views of the ocean from the balconies are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Brent!

Beautiful home, quiet location, great ocean views! While it is not ocean front, even this "ocean front snob" did not feel like I missed a thing! The views are great from the top two floors, you can feel the expanse of the ocean and see/hear the waves! We had a consistent ocean breeze so that we never suffered from heat, even in August! The home layout is spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Appliances, TV, wireless all worked great. Beds and linens were comfortable, clean and in good condition.You are a short walk to a beautiful and sparsely populated beach! If you are worried about crowded beaches and Corona virus, this is the perfect retreat location for you! Your are literally a few steps from a super cute uncrowded pool! My daughters and I loved it! The subdivision has less than a dozen homes so it really feels like you have a private pool!The home is very close to a gift shop, seafood market, ice cream shop and an incredibly well stocked small town grocery store with very reasonable prices. Don't bother packing milk, beer, etc, just buy it when you get there. If your looking for exercise, there is a great bike/run path that runs along the road all the way to the State park at the end of the Cape. The State Park is a beautiful area and worth a days adventure walk.Last, but certainly not least, Brent (the owner) communicates wonderfully and is super responsive! Vacation rentals can always be a gamble, not with this place!(PS) I'm not the owner writing a review of my own house! We just had a wonderful time and we are glad to brag about this place!

This house was perfect for our stay at Cape San Blas! Everything was updated and modern. It was spacious enough for 10 and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for a week's stay at the beach! The views from the great room/kitchen are amazing!! The pool was convenient as was the short walk to the beautiful beach. Brent Craig is a gracious and responsive host. We loved this house and have already booked it for summer 2021!

We stayed at Craig’s Costal Cottage the week of July 4th and had an amazing time. The house was everything we could have asked for and the nicest we have stayed at. The home has everything you could want inside plus a pool directly across the street a VERY short walk to the beach and a driveway where you can park your boat (for those of us that take theirs down). Great views of the gulf!Cape San Blas, Port St Joe, Mexico Beach and the forgotten coast are returning. While not everything is back there are plenty of restaurants and other amenities available. The beaches and water are as amazing as they have ever been. Take advantage of it. Support their economy and have a great vacation.Brent was fantastic to rent from and delivered on everything. I will rent from him again!

Brent is an incredibly responsive, helpful host from booking to check-out. The place is beautiful, has outstanding views despite not being right on the beach, and is such a short walk away from the sand and water. It is well-decorated, well-kept, and a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The area offers a lot of interesting things to do in nearby towns, good food, and places to walk around. We had a wonderful stay!
