With over an acre of property including bay bottom, the grounds are private and yet accessible. You can swim in the new large pool or take a dip in the bay, fish from the dock or try paddle boarding from the beach. About the owner: I bought property in the Keys in the late 700s because of the beautiful water and island feel. I knew this was where I wanted to retire and entice my children and grandchildren to visit me often. So when I retired, that is exactly what I did and I feel every day I am so fortunate to live here.
Why this property? My first house which I love was located on a canal at Snake Creek. Great location and beautiful views but lots of neighbors around. I wanted more privacy and open water views. I found the perfect "fixer Upper" on the Bay at MM88. I have over an acre of property, only 1 neighbor on each side and beautiful vies, access and sunsets nightly. While I originally I only wanted to remodel the existing house, I was advised the best course was a total rebuild. That journey started in 2000 and is finally coming to a close in 2024. I have been busy decorating, furnishing, adding amenities' as I go. It is a beautiful serene location and beautiful home. I would love to share it with you.
