- Great SNOWBIRD community in the winter months. Folks come back year after to year to Portside. The Snowbirds set up a list of calendar events and have something you can attend every single day of the week while also enjoying the warmer weather!
Wake up and draw back the black out curtains to see the Florida sunshine shining through the glass doors in the master bedroom. Then enjoy your morning coffee lounging on the cozy furniture on the second floor patio.
Pack up the family for a short drive or walk to the beautiful white sand and clear waters of Panama City Beach. We provide beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and other beach essentials so you're ready to hit the surf as soon as you arrive. Our beach access, is generally much less crowded than other parts of the beach, so you will have plenty of room to spread out your towels, soak up the sun and build a big sand castle.
There are plenty of places nearby where you can rent a golf cart so you can keep your car nice and clean for your trips to the beach. Or drive down to pier park for shopping galore and a ferris wheel ride! Bring your pooch along to enjoy the designated dog beach.
After you wash off the sand from a relaxing day at the beach, enjoy drying off with our soft luxury extra large bath towels.
Back at the resort, enjoy the two beautiful pools with waterfalls, a hot tub and fitness center free for your use during your stay. The pools are open until 11:00 pm and lit after dark. The back pool is heated during the winter. If it rains, we have board games to play inside, two vizio smart tvs with all the streaming apps connected to high-speed internet or check out the Dave & Buster’s right down the street.
The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals at home if you don’t feel like going out to one of the many delicious restaurants in the area, and the in-unit washer and dryer make laundry a breeze if you are there for a longer stay.
We even provide a pack and play, booster seat, baby gate, and toilet seat reducer for your little ones so you don’t have to lug them along on your trip (we know the struggle)!
If you bring your fur babies along for the trip, we have bowls and a crate available for your use as well.
Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom has a king size bed with custom headboard featuring a memory foam mattress and luxury lightweight bamboo sheets. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and twin size bunk bed with 2 bunks featuring cool 100% cotton 300 thread count sheets. Weight limit is 200 pounds for the top bunk and 250 for the bottom.

My hubby and I spent a month at the Salty Suite. It was the perfect get away. First, host Peter and Jocie are the best. They have provided everything you could ever need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the couch in the LR was so comfy and we loved the outside patio area. Upstairs the master bed was so comfortable. Big closets, nice dresser and sink and vanity to use. The outdoor deck upstairs was my favorite place to enjoy. Quiet and such a peaceful view. Our two Boston's loved lying in the sun on the deck. It was great having the queen and bunks in the second bedroom. The shower worked perfectly. When we arrived we had trouble with the TV reception. Peter checked into it and 2 days later we had a new TV installed. The Portside Resort is a great community with friendly guests everywhere. The pools were fun. It was hard to choose which one to go to :). For us, the walk to the beach was a bit long. It was great to be able to park our car at the office and walk right across the street to the white sand and emerald water. Peter and Jocie have thought of everything. Beach towels, surfboard, kayaks, bicycles, beach equipment, games, a great washer and dryer, even a hair dryer!. If you are looking for a comfortable, beachy, pet friendly vacation home, with plenty of great restaurants to attend, This is the place to go. Thank you Peter and Jocie for a wonderful place to stay.
