SUNRISE ON LAKE TARPON is a destination in itself, located on Lake Tarpon, Pinellas County's largest lake. It is renowned for its trophy-sized large mouth bass on occasion producing up to ten-pound bass! Put your boat in at John Chesnut or Anderson Park or rent lakeside at Freedom Boat Rentals and dine at the dockable Tarpon Turtle restaurant. Located just minutes from Innisbrook Golf and Country Club, home of the Valspar Open Professional Golf Tournament. There are endless possibilities from this lake side sanctuary.
The ROMANTIC MASTER RETREAT accesses the screened balcony overlooking the sparkling pool, landscaped grounds and has sweeping views of the lake. It has a king sized bed and a flat screen TV for your enjoyment. There is a large walk in closet and wood dressers for storing your personal belongings. The large private MASTER BATHROOM comes equipped with granite counter tops and a humongous tiled walk in shower and tub.
The SECOND BEDROOM also has sweeping views of the lake for catching spectacular sunrises and access to the screened balcony. It has a comfortable queen bed with bedside seating choices for your relaxation while viewing the flat screen TV. This room also has a double futon.
The UPSTAIRS WEST BEDROOM has a queen bed, large closet, and HD TV.
The GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM has a queen bed, large closet, and HD TV.
The SHARED UPSTAIRS BATHROOM has a shower and tub and is tastefully decorated.
The fully equipped KITCHEN is stocked with all the necessitates for making fantastic meals and drinks. There is also a WET BAR and FRIDGE for storing and making your favorite concoctions.
The huge DINING ROOM is beside the kitchen and has seating for up to 8. The room has a hutch and playful artwork.
The LIVING ROOM has plush furniture, Flat Screen HDTV, and a electronic fireplace with multiple lighting choices.
The MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM is conveniently located just off the GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM and has contemporary decorations and tiled shower.
The Washer and Dryer are just off the kitchen. Ironing boards, hair dryers, beach towels and pool toys are provided.
PARKING: Parking is in the driveway
Special Note: Unreasonably loud noise and music, parties and events are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours after 10 PM. Please plan your trip accordingly and contact us with any questions or clarifications.
Special Note: Pool is heated (subject to #24 of the home rules published on this site, our website, and in your rental agreement) during winter in an attempt to maintain 80-85 degrees, however, pool temps will fluctuate depending on strength and frequency of cold fronts. We do not guarantee any temperature at any time. In winter time, supplemental heating is available for $250.00 per week which involves running the pump and heater for up to 16 hours per day as opposed to the normal 10. We cannot guarantee what temperature will be achieved as it is dependent on the outside temperature. Similarly, pool will often reach over 90 degrees in summer naturally. Guests should consider the forecast in their decision both prior to arrival and during your stay. Contact us to request supplemental heating. UPPER PORTION OF POOL DOES NOT FUNCTION AS A HOT TUB. Contact us with any questions or clarifications.
Parking: There is outside parking that will accommodate up to 4 cars.

Stayed as a family of 5. House was very nice, spacious and clean. Fantastic kitchen with a huge island that opens up to the large living room with a very comfortable sofa. We used the pool every day we were there, even the days we spent at Honeymoon Island State Park (highly recommend). Plenty of beach towels and pool toys to use while you stay. Very convenient to get to Walmart, Publix and many restaurants nearby. Brian was very responsive and helpful - on the date of our arrival, the power was out due to an accident in the neighborhood. He checked in with us several times to see how we were doing and to share the updates from the power company. We enjoyed our time there and would stay again.

Our family was so comfortable here! We loved the pool and screened lanai with such a peaceful and beautiful view, and lots of birds to keep us entertained. The living room was perfect for all of us to relax together, and the remodeled kitchen is really beautiful and had everything we needed. The location is great; very close to Publix for groceries, and some restaurants within a few miles (Mystic Fish was very good!) but yet the home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Brian and Cadie were extremely responsive and answered any questions I had within minutes which is always appreciated. We would stay again!

We had a great two week stay at Sunrise on Tarpon. The property was exactly as shown in the pictures and as described. Plus the owners are making upgrades which makes it even better . Lake Tarpon and Palm Harbor weather were exceptional . Florida Din Vacations were great to deal with and had us checked in right on time. Would recommend them for sure.

Our family traveled to Florida for a family wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunrise on Lake Tarpon. The home was beautiful, spacious and comfortable and afforded everyone the opportunity to spread out, relax and spend time together. The oversize pier did not lack lawn furniture/tables and was a wonderful place to catch some warm sun early in the week, while the area around the pool provided a great gathering place for all. The only thing missing was the "sun" the last few days of our stay. From all of us - "thank you"!

My family and I had a FANTASTIC time in our vacation rental this month: SUNRISE ON LAKE TARPON. The home was very spacious and well stocked with cooking staples and towels- both bath and beach. The home was very clean, and full of fun surprises. So many games, books and movies. Great items for toddlers: huge clean pack and play, Mickey Mouse rocking chair, highchair booster seat. Great cookware. Sparkling clean pool. And WHAT A VIEW! The whole process from start to finish was smooth and easy. I highly recommend Florida Sun Vacation Rentals and this beautiful vacation home. We will be back.

The house was great. This was a very family-friendly home. The pool and the place around is perfect for kids, and they had a closet full of pool toys. Kitchen had plenty of the basics, and the house was big enough to spread out and enjoy. Plenty of great restaurants, and close to grocery stores. We also made the drive to Clearwater beach several days throughout the week. We would definitely visit again!

This home worked well for us. One bedroom with bath on main floor was great for our mobility challenged person. Had my two young grandchildren over for a couple days and the pool was perfect with plenty of toys for use. The screened in outside patio worked well for one in our party that smokes. Terrific master bedroom on second floor. Plenty of space to eat in...we ordered take out food that is within 20 minutes of house and ate at the large dining table in the formal dining area. It was a plus to have a washer/dryer so we didn't need to pack many clothes for our trip. Check in was easy and home was available on-time as promised. Mangers were easy to contact if anything is needed.

This house was perfect for our family getaway during a time that proved hard to get away and have some fun. The pool and outdoor area allowed us to stay at home and enjoy the lake & fishing without having to go out much at all. Perfect location for a quiet get away with the most amazing views! This was a great place! Plenty of room for 7 people and well stocked with the necessities. We loved hanging out by the pool and being right on the lake. What a view! The house was a short drive to the airport and many Tampa attractions. Our hosts were responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend staying here for sure :)

Located in Palm Harbor, FL we were pleased that what we saw when we walked through the front door was exactly as pictured on the webpage. After a crazy day running to attractions on the Tampa CityPass and to beaches close by, it was a pleasure to arrive "back home", close out the rest of the world and enjoy the gorgeous screened in pool. Every one of our family members loved it! Other than food, there was nothing else we needed to buy for a comfortable stay. It was a pleasure doing business with Brian and I would not hesitate to rent again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My family and I had a great vacation to the home on Lake Tarpon. The house was spacious, clean, and everything we needed was available (including a grocery store less than 5 minutes away). There is truth in the phrase, "the healing power of water." The lake is beautiful, the pool was a hit with the kids, and the beach/ocean was a 10-15 minute drive.. refreshed and quality time spent with the family. Fantastic getaway!

Great house were we stayed 2 families with plenty of space. Clean and fresh interiour. The outside pool area was really nice, and became the childrens favourite. The dock was also nice, but have one eye open for alligators. We spotted one passing by in the beatiful lake. The location of the house was also good. Peaceful surrundings and wonderful lake view. But also close to shops and outlets. A couple of days we went to Clearwater beach, wich we highly recommend. It's only 30 minutes away from the house, and worth the visit if you want nice beachlife!

I rented this lovely home for a girls relaxation/ revitalize mini vacation. The home was wonderful, the location was fantastic! So much to do and see. We went to 5 different beaches, shopping in and around Tarpon Springs and went to most of the recommended places to eat (in the book). The home was perfect,the attractions and shopping was great! MeghannGreat house, perfect location!
This house was perfect for my family of 8 adults! We loved having coffee on the deck, watching the sunrise over Lake Tarpon, and enjoying relaxing in the hot tub and pool. The bedrooms were great! Such a fabulous find with all big beds. Also, just enough space that all eight of us could either hang out together in the living room, or separately without having to be in a bedroom.We enjoyed the proximity to Tampa, St Pete’s and Clearwater. It was also nice to take a spin through Tarpon Springs. Would highly recommend, and we are considering having a family trip again!
