Best Disney Location! Our home is located minutes from the parks and is one of the closest resorts you will find. The Emerald Island Resort is established, and it has lush landscaping throughout the meandering streets. As an established resort, there is more space for the home, but also more space between homes and much more green space than newer resorts. There is a clubhouse with a tiki bar, pool, and gym for the times you are looking for a bit more of a resort feel. Other resort amenities include playgrounds, mini golf, tennis, pickleball, and volleyball. There are also rental bikes available. Many people enjoy simply walking around the neighborhood and the Nature Walk on site. The guard-gated entry provides privacy and safety throughout the resort.

Whenever we travel, I read reviews. Some reviews you wonder about because no two people seem to see it the same way. However with this house everyone seemed to love it and after staying there I can see why. From start to finish this home was amazing and so were the hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our trip. We were there for a total of 9 nights in super comfy beds enjoying all the house had to offer including the pool! The house was bigger than we needed for a family of 5 however it wasn't that much more than other properties that seem to nickel and dime you with the added pool heat cost, BBQ cost etc., all of which were included in this house. Each of our kids had their own king bed and bathroom....travelling with two teens and one preteen this was absolutely awesome. The photos you see online are mostly exactly as the house is. The only differences would be the king bed that was added as well as double beds replacing some of the twin beds and larger TVs! Other than that what you see is what you get. We loved every inch of the house that we used and couldn't have been happier that we decided to rent a house rather than a hotel....and this house to be exact. It had everything we could have possible wanted or needed. When we took time away from the parks the house kept the kids entertained with the pool/hot tub, games room and internet...lets face it anyone with teens knows that even while on vacation it's impossible to get their noses 100% out of electronics, and we've learned we are all happier when we don't even try! With this home however there was so much to do we found the kids only went to their electronics after quiet hours (after my son learned the costly lesson of not taking your "waterproof" phone near the hot false move and it was IN the hot tub) We had a few questions once we got there which I am sure that everyone does. Whether by email or text message Jeanne was there within minutes to answer it all. We never had to wait for an answer and she was always so helpful! This house was super clean upon arrival. We live in an average home with three kids and two working parents, however when I go on vacations to places like Vegas, I like hotels like the Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Elara etc. This house was absolutely of that class. There wasn't a spec of dirt anywhere. No water spots even in the sink or on any of the appliances. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Orlando!
