Today, it lays claim to Florida Gulf Coast University and serves as a relaxing destination. Visitors will be calmed by the nearby beaches and intrigued by Estero’s Mound Key Archaeological State Park. Rising more than 30 feet above the water, miles from shore, ancient shell mounds transform the landscape of Estero Bay. Made of bones, shells and pottery pieces, this is believed to have been the ceremonial center of the Calusa Indians. Access to the site is by boat only, but the journey is well worth it.
The area contains 3 large shopping venues, all within a short ride from the community. Jet Blue Park, the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox is within close proximity. SW Florida airport is 15 min away.

This home has everything anyone would want for a home away from home. We were very pleased working with the host throughout the rental process. The community has wide streets and sidewalks throughout. Ideal for walkers and bicyclists alike, with very flat terrain throughout.The amenities center makes this home feel like resort living, with a beautifully landscaped large swimming pool with waterfalls and separate smaller hot tub. A cafe, restaurant, and outdoor sports bar (feet from the pool), a fully equipped gymnasium, tennis, bocce and pickle ball courts round up the amenities center recreation area.Proximity to Ft. Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island made this location ideal for our frequent day trips and visiting entertainment centers and restaurants.

This family-friendly home is located within a well-maintained gated community. Access is provided to member amenities including: a very large zero entry pool with waterfall features and tube slide and an extensive gym area with many machines and workout options. There is also a cafe and restaurant on-site offering delicious and affordable selections. Grocery shopping and two large malls are both within 10 miles of the home. Working with the owner, Joe, was a pleasant experience. He made the process gratifying and stress free. We had a wonderful time in Estero!
