'Toes in the Sand' is located in the WEST TOWER, the MOST CONVENIENT tower at the resort; it is DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH AND ACROSS THE STREET FROM PIER PARK.
2209 WEST is located on the outside corner of the WEST Tower on the twenty second floor of CALYPSO RESORT. We love this unit because of the fabulous panoramic, unobstructed beach and ocean views with magnificent sunsets! There is no pool or street noise....Very quiet and peaceful.
This unit feels BRAND NEW with clean tile flooring throughout the unit - no unsightly, stained carpeting. The furniture is BRAND NEW and all bedding is updated for 2024.
Quality appointments throughout including granite counter tops in the kitchen...Keurig or regular coffee maker, blender, slow cooker, microwave, oven and microwave. The refrigerator provides ice, water and storage for ice. New tile work was completed in 2019 as well as cabinet updating.
The dining area comfortably seats six with five bar stools at the breakfast bar. The large dining table can accommodate a wonderful meal or a place for games or projects!
The Master bedroom suite features a king size bed, sliding doorway to the balcony, and smart flat screen tv. The large bathroom with spacious walk-in closet offers an oversize soaking tub, separate shower, dual sinks, and a private water closet.
Bedroom #2 (almost a second master) features a Queen bed, wonderful Western exposure/ocean views, 32" flat screen smart tv, and connecting private bath with walk-in shower.
Bedroom #3 includes ONE FULL & ONE TWIN bed, flat screen television, and another connecting, full private bath with tub/shower. Great for kids, large and small, as well as couples or girls' trips. Also, this is great for the golf trips so many guys enjoy down here.
There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. This sofa has a comfortable full mattress with linens in the armoire. We've also stocked the tv armoire with cards, games, books, and movies.
The balcony has BRAND NEW FURNITURE, CHAISE LOUNGE, 4 CHAIRS, AND (3) TABLES. This is a great place to watch the amazing sunsets over the Pier.
The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. Our water heater is state of the art...we never run out of hot water, no matter how many guests are getting ready! Our Ipacket internet service is fast and reliable.
We provide BEACH SERVICE (March 11 to Oct. 31) of 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up for your use everyday of your stay. Simply go to the beach service hut at the bottom of the stairs to the beach and the guys will set you up. Same place every day unless you want to move your chairs...and they will do that!
We also provide a couple of reclining-type beach chairs in the unit for your use during your stay. And while this is not full 'Beach Service' it does allow you to sit closer to the water, have more 'elbow room' / privacy and just relax at your own time table. Sit back and enjoy those fabulous sunsets! Bring your own beach towels. Note: Beach Service lounge cushions and umbrellas are picked up between 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.
This Caribbean influenced resort is in the family friendly west end of Panama City Beach. Enjoy a tropical beverage from the resort's Tiki bar surrounded by the two Gulf front, lagoon style pools with tropical landscaping.
There is an on-site Fitness Center on the 2nd floor.
Parking passes are accessed through the HOA; an email will be sent to you to register you as our guest and pay the $20/vehicle charge. (This charge is subject to change). There is a (2)vehicle limit.

Area Information
The PierPark area is a wonderful location for families and couples. Everything is in walking distance. It's SAFE! We have security on the property and all guests wear an identifying bracelet.
Not far from Pier Park and Calypso is St. Andrews, an old Florida town that has a wonderful farmers' market on Saturdays. Be sure to eat lunch at Hunts...our 50-year old restaurant.

Northwest Florida Beaches International airport is less than 20 minutes (Uber service is available) from our condo, and Southwest Airlines has frequent deals on airfare. For golfers, Holiday Golf Course is 10 minutes away, fun to play, and reasonably priced. For a Nicklaus experience, Bay Point Golf Course is about 20 minutes east, but an easy drive. Check on availability; the hurricane swept right over it. Windswept Dunes was spared the hurricane and is one of our favorite golf courses. If you have a private club membership in your home town your golf pro may be able to arrange a round at Camp Creek in Rosemary Beach.

About the owner: We are a happily married couple (33 years) with 2 sons. We live in Nashville and love it! My husband graduated from the Naval Academy, flew the F-4 and F-18 and graduated from TopGun in the 70's. He decided to go to medical school at 30 and has been in practice since 1990. I graduated from Siena College and University of Tennessee and worked for 17 years with Xerox. Both of our sons are in the Marines and married. We both enjoy golf and play regularly. Other activities are Book clubs, tennis, bible study, bridge, and exercising.
Why this property? We have traveled and stayed in many locations along the gulf coast. We found Panama City Beach to have the best of everything. It's upscale and relaxing at the same time. It's a family oriented resort with security on the property. Our HOA does not allow us to rent to anyone under 25.
The Calypso Resort is convenient to everything. Its location removes a lot of the hassles of a vacation....driving and parking. Once you park your car, you may find that you don't really need it because you can WALK everywhere.

This is a wonderful condo right in the hustle and busel of PCB. Great location to Pier Park and Pier. You will be on top of the world with this 22nd floor condo with great views. If you're staying in PCB area don't miss out on this terrific location. Susie is a joy to work with. I've stayed here twice now and plan to stay next March too. No need to look any further as this is the place to be!

WOW!! We were so happy with Calypso 2209 West!! The condo was true to the advertisement!! The view was gorgeous with the wrap around windows in this corner unit!! Pier Park and local pier were within walking distance!! New Years Eve was amazing with Beach ball Drop and Fireworks!! Definitely will stay here again!! We chose this condo for our stay first and foremost because of the location. It is two blocks away from Pier Park and it is directly on the most gorgeous beach! When we arrived at the condo, we were impressed with everything from the size of the condo to the furnishings and the well-appointed kitchen. They have everything in there that you could possibly need for your entire family. Beach games, cookware, beach towels, coolers. The place is immaculate and has three full baths. With 8 of us staying here, we had plenty of room and were not at all on top of each other. We had a wonderful vacation and this condo was the right choice. I will definitely stay here every year! The owner is amazing also!

We have the best guests. The views are spectacular and bring so much peace. Having a protected beach to look over is a real plus!!! Being across the street from Pier Park allows all the guests to come and go on their own schedule. No driving or parking hassles. The venues for concerts and car shows are wonderful and within walking distance, too.

What a relaxing vacation we had at Susie's place. The condo is on the 22nd floor with 1800 sq ft of space, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. The views were fantastic. Pier Park was right there, a five minute stroll on the beach or two minute walk on the sidewalk. My favorite was Irish coffees Friday morning at Tootsie's. We ate at Roadhouse the first night and didn't need to eat again with all the good food we got there. We did have lunch on Saturday at the Craft Bar in Pier Park North. Again, stuffed and didn't need dinner Saturday evening. We had some warm time but mostly colder weather - the heat and AC work great! We had three families and all were comfortable in the space. Susie communicated very well and we lacked nothing while there. I'd recommend Calypso "toes in the sand" and will stay there again. Thanks, Susie!

Thank you for that review. It all speaks of convenience...to the beach, to the Pier, to Pier Park. Being able to walk everywhere eliminates the hassles of driving and parking. Our condo is made for families and couples to come together, relax and enjoy each other. The views from every room and especially the balcony are amazing. On clear days, you can see to Destin. Using this site allows you to save on those booking fees. We hope you come back soon.

We Arrived at Toes in the Sand on 10/8, Hurricane Michael was a day behind us so we only got to stay one night. I have to say, it would be hard to find another owner that went above and beyond for us like Susan did. We obviously were heartbroken about having to leave early because the condo is gorgeous. And that view though! Convenient, walking distance to Pier Park. Honestly you have second thoughts on even wanting to leave because it’s so beautiful and comfortable. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. And I can’t say enough about how amazing the owners were to work with from day one. We did not lose a penny!!!! Even though we left early and had to evacuate. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, spacious place to stay with a view that’s hard to beat, well this is your spot! And the owners are the icing on the cake. I feel like I’ve known her for years just meeting her by phone a month ago. Your search is over if you are reading these reviews like I did trying to decide where to stay! That’s exactly why I left one.

We believe in treating our guests like we would like to be treated. Our guest was incredibly helpful to us during the evacuation. She prepped the condo as we requested which included moving our furniture in from the balcony. I can't imagine not refunding a guest 100% for a hurricane. She deserved it and now she will definitely return. We will always take care of our guests and make sure they are 100% satisfied.
