Welcome to Wasi Mati (Zulu for “Blue Water”). Designed for those who are drawn to the beach every moment of every day. Walking in your breath will be stolen by direct views of the Gulf from every room. If you’re looking for a slightly easier, more upscale, yet very private feeling Little Gasparilla Island escape, you’ve found your new island home away from home.

Our fully renovated and luxurious Placida Beach condo, with 2 (plus) bedrooms each with its own ensuite bathroom and private lanai, is the perfect place to doze to the lapping waves. Our upper-level flex space can transform from lounge to yoga room to spillover sleeping with two extra comfy Twin fold-outs. Directly beachfront, with spectacular views of the ocean and setting sun, our condo is a great fit for a romantic getaway, girlfriends' getaway, two couples, or a small quiet family looking for beach time.

Park in our complimentary, secure gated parking area on the mainland, load up a trolly with your groceries and bag, roll it straight onto the complimentary hourly ferry service, roll it straight off onto the dock on the island and straight to the front of our condo.

After a day at the beach, take a dip in the year-round climate-controlled freshwater pool before retreating to one of our three private beachfront screened-in lanais. Slink down into the crisp, cool, bright white 100% Organic Bamboo Sateen linens, on new comfortable luxurious mattresses, to dream about your perfect beach day.

Our foodie friends will appreciate the well-equipped modern kitchen to prepare simple beach picnics or gourmet feasts. We keep the kitchen well stocked with high-end basics and condiments for the holistically minded, such as avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil, Himalayan pink salt, coconut sugar, and a full suite of organic spices and dried herbs. And for our fellow wellness junkies, we provide yoga mats, blocks, and straps to get your Om on while meditating to the gulf view.

For those that want their “sports fix”, we have a large flat-screen Smart TV combined with high-speed Starlink internet. A separate work area is available if you need to catch up with work emails … we hope you don't!

Our bathrooms feature organic, sulfate-free shampoo and body wash, reef-safe sunscreen, DEET-free (essential oil-based) bug spray along with quick-drying Organic Cotton Turkish Towels.

Area Information

Little Gasparilla Island is a stunning bridgeless barrier island accessible by boat only. We provide secure, upscale, gated mainland parking, ferry service, trash pickup service, and a freshwater heated pool. Bring your groceries in our included ferry carts, roll them the short distance off the ferry to the condo and relax for some blissful island time!
