Hudson Beach, is the main local beach & one of the towns greatest attractions. Previously only known by the locals, it's now attractive to all tourists showcasing it's historic park, boardwalk, dining, & shopping experience. Hudson offers the tranquility, history and unique scenery not seen in any other Florida location & It's close proximity to several Florida destinations, north, south and east, makes this a central, yet also an affordable local coastal place to stay! Bring your kayak, small boat and head out to the Gulf! Or stay home and enjoy your semi- private pool (shared with only one other home), or sit on one of our docks while reading a book. Life is good in this home! You won't be disappointed! There are three queen sized beds, and three twins. NOTE; THIS IS A NON-HEATED POOL. THERE IS NO 'HOT' TUB.
Unique Benefits
Just 45 minutes to an hour from the Tampa airport. Hop in a car and get out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to still have the option to head back for shows, entertainment, shopping, etc. This little sleepy town is quiet, serene. There's everything you may need during your stay here as far as shopping.
Why Kids Love It
Lots of sports in this neck of the woods! Enjoy kayaking, swim with manatees, go on an Airboat ride (thrilling!) There's a water park and so on. Google things to do in Hudson. Oh, and ice cream did I mention the ice cream shoppe around the corner?
Area Information
Bring your kayaks, canoes, small watercraft and enjoy your stay in this magnificent upper floor home (with an elevator), using your private newly remodeled dock where you can fish and sunbathe, or sit and read a book! You're 5 minutes to the beach by land, or 10 minutes by small watercraft. This is waterfront! A side note and SO COOL: subject to your time of stay, Manatee's use these canal's! There are events (comedy shows, waterskiing, paintball, motorboat rentals, axe throwing, mini golf, pet and hold an alligator, kayak and canoe rentals nearby, and so on. Lots to do!
Attractions Within Walking Distance
Breakfast at the corner cafe, Church on the corner. Ice cream parlor around the corner. There are home-goods stores locally within a short drive. The beach is a bike-ride away.

About the owner: My husband and I have been investing in short term, mid term, and long term rentals since the early '90's. This one might just be our favorite! It's in Florida, on a canal, with so many activities nearby!
Why this property? Hudson is a hidden jewel located at the westernmost end of Pasco County, Florida. While it looks quite uneventful from the highway, Hudson will surprise you. Head west towards the Gulf in Hudson and you will find our home nestled in a quaint waterfront cul-de-sac.

Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, more commonly known as Hudson Beach, is the main beach for the Hudson community and one of the town’s greatest attractions. A beach that was previously only known by the locals, Hudson Beach is now attractive to all tourists showcasing it's historic park, boardwalk, dining, and shopping experience.
Hudson offers all the expected excitement of any Florida vacation destination, but also offers the tranquility, history and unique scenery not seen in any other Florida location.
