Cozy house on the river perfect for retired couples or fishing, swimming, or kayaking enthusiasts!

Gorgeous newly renovated Florida style home with teal colors and cedar wood accenting throughout the open-concept living and kitchen areas. After entering the house thru the beautifully landscaped entrance area, you immediately see thru the back patio glass doors revealing the large in-ground heated pool and a stunning view of the river lined with palm trees--the favorite aspect of all the guests. You will have the best view of the sunset sitting under the pavilion where you can enjoy sitting on the comfy outdoor furniture while having a drink or eating breakfast while watching the many varieties of wildlife in the morning sun including ducks, turtles, Blue Heron birds, and the largest gathering of Peacock Bass that you will find anywhere. Activities available:

KAYAKING: Four kayaks are easy to jump into from the dock at any time and the waterway connects to Lakes Osborne and Lake Ida. Life jackets provided.
FISHING: This house sits on the most famous spot for fresh water fishing in South Florida and our dock is best known for being a spawning area for countless Peacock Bass and in fact people travel here from all over the world to fish near our dock!
SCUBA: If you would like to study scuba we have our own SCUBA instructor offering the most affordable private training at any time you prefer in your own backyard pool! For complete certification we go to the nearby Blue Heron Bridge beach dive or jump on open ocean dive boats.

The accommodations include a master bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom that may be set up with a full queen or twin bed. The gorgeous hall bathroom is shared and it has a combined shower with a bathtub. The living room also has a pull out queen sofa-bed for a total of 6 people to sleep on 3 beds. The new kitchen has an oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, over-sized sink, coffee maker, toaster, abundant pots/pans/cups/dishware/utensils. A new clothing washer/dryer is provided as well as a large internet TV in the living room with firestick apps as well as smaller internet TV's in the bedrooms. Swimming towels are provided. Guests gather around the large kitchen island that has built-in plug outlets for phones and computers. There is also a quaint breakfast table area. Our guests fall in love with this place and never want to leave!

Additional features included free of charge: Hi speed Wi-Fi, beach chairs & umbrella, high chair & crib, 30 ft boat dock (fresh water river connecting to Lakes Ida and Osborne), printer & filing cabinet, free use of kayaks.

Not included: You must bring / purchase your own fishing supplies (it is not recommended to eat anything caught, only catch and release for fun; most abundant fish is the famous Peacock Bass).

We also offer SCUBA DIVING experiences and training at an additional cost; please inquire for these details. The pool is 7ft deep and 30ft long which is adequate for training and certification by our very own PADI SCUBA instructor who has many years of experience and is fully insured and in good standing with PADI. Typically only 3 days are needed for completing the Open Water certification: one day in the pool, one day at Blue Heron Bridge, and a third day in the Ocean on a dive boat (or at the bridge or other location). These lessons are private or semi-private, no more than 4 students at a time, and you enjoy huge savings being our guest as we do not charge hidden fees such as SCUBA gear rental fees.

It is only a short drive to the amazing Delray Beach/Atlantic Ave walking Streets full of amazing nightlife and weekend festivals.
