Unit 509E is a large 2 bedroom unit. Unit is better than advertised,and was very clean on arrival.Easy walking to pier, restaurants, and pier park. We have used Premium Beach Condos for about 10 years and have never been disappointed. Everything from booking to departure is very easy

Everything We Needed to Recharge and Relax

The view overlooking the beach is spectacular, and the chairs/table on the balcony were very inviting and comfortable! We had everything we needed including provided beach chairs and umbrella each day. We enjoyed the beach, the pools, workout facility and fire pits in the evenings, The furnishings were nice, the kitchen had the items we wanted for convenience such as a blender and coffee maker for K-cups and/or a full carafe. With each bedroom having its own television and bathroom, our stay allowed for privacy and different sleep schedules. Every day, we ate breakfast and a light lunch at the condo, and ventured out for dinners. We found several excellent restaurants and enjoyed a sunset cruise for watching dolphins. We would return to the same condo!

Beautiful Condo and Very Happy Customer

We always book through Premium Beach Condos and have never been disappointed. The customer service you get is top notch and can't be beat! We most recently stayed in condo 509E (our second time in this unit) this unit is beautiful and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need/want. The pools are very clean and nice, they just added fire bowls to the pool areas to sit at and enjoy in the evenings and they are amazing! The tiki hut between the pools has the nicest folks working there and they play great music to enjoy. Calypso is in walking distance to the Pier and also to Pier Park for all your dining and shopping needs. You will not be disappointed with this unit.

LOVED CALYPSO 509 EAST TOWER

I’m going to review 3 areas: Unit 509, Calypso & PCB.Unit 509-East Tower: This condo is absolutely WONDERFUL. All photos/descriptions are accurate as advertised. The unit is large. Usually, with a wide-angle lens, condos look larger in photos than in person, but this place is really spacious! It was more than enough room for my family of 4 (2 teen-aged boys). We could have brought cousins or grandparents and would have had plenty of space as the living/dining area is much larger than most beach condos and there are 2 large sofas and plenty of walking space around the bed in the main bedroom. The unit has two large bathrooms but what I’ll call the “master bath” is humongous. This bathroom has 2 sinks with plenty of space between, a shower and a separate tub, plenty of cabinet space, a linen closet, water closet (toilet room), and a GIANT walk-in closet that was about 10ft by 9ft (large enough for a child to sleep in – certainly a pack-n-play). All this is just the bathroom! Speaking of size, the condo has a balcony that runs the width of the unit that’s accessible through 3 doors (2 from living area and one from main bedroom). The balcony has 5 large wooden chairs and a table and gives a beautiful view of the beach/ocean. From the balcony, you overlook the end of the pool and the tiki bar that sits between the two towers. I loved that this unit was 5th floor b/c you are high enough for a great view but not so high that you have to waste time waiting on elevators or going up/downstairs. Speaking of elevator, we only used it when we were going to the unit (always used steps when leaving), but we never once had to wait for it. In full discloser, we were not there on a weekend when elevator traffic is probably at its peak. The unit is at the end of the building and thus right next to a stair well that we used each time we left to go to the beach or out exploring. We never once saw others in the stairwell, so it’s a secluded area that’s not noisy. In fact. we never heard noise from any of the other units around us. When we arrived, the unit was very clean. I am not super picky, but my husband IS and ALWAYS finds problems with places we stay – but not this place; it was even up to his high standards. We didn’t cook while we were there, but upon arrival I unloaded the dishwasher from those who stayed before us and it looked like the kitchen is stocked well enough if you’d like to cook. There is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer which I did take advantage of. It’s nice to have a full-size washer/dryer and not those mini sets that hold nothing and don’t really clean well. Before our arrival, we were contacted saying we could enter early if we wanted. Our host did an amazing job with communication, at every step. When you arrive, you’ll see a bowl of rubber arm bands to wear while staying at Calypso. I’m sure this is just the policy of Calypso, but I didn’t like the bands b/c they were HUGE and kept falling off my arm (I even tried sliding up to my elbow) and you are charged for missing armbands so I was paranoid the whole time, we’d lose one (especially in the ocean). I’m a rule follower so I made my whole family wear them but to be honest, I never once saw anyone else there wearing one (not at the pool or beach). The beach chair service was another perk of the condo. It was nice to have 2 chairs and an umbrella waiting on me each morning. I was surprised to see how early they take them down each “evening” though – around 4pm. I just can’t say enough about this unit (spacious, clean, good communication with host, etc.). I would recommend to others and would stay again if I’m ever at PCB.Calypso Resort: We really enjoyed staying at this resort. Overall, it was very clean and well maintained. The pools were a bit noisy each night (our unit was right above a pool and you could hear kids screaming) BUT, all noise stopped at 10pm when the pools closed. Tiki bar was nice with great drinks. We never had issue with finding a park in the parking deck and since the bridge was on the 3rd floor and we were on 5th, it was easy to always park on the 3rd floor, walk over and take a quick elevator ride to our room. Luggage carts are available in the parking deck and all the Calypso employees seemed really nice. Location is great if you want to visit Pier Park! Also, Walmart and grocery stores are only a very short drive away. Overall, it’s a great place to stay.PCB: The beach (roads, restaurants, etc.) are VERY crowded. I’ve actually avoided PCB since becoming an adult b/c I prefer family vacations in more secluded beach areas. But, since our kids had never experienced PCB, we decided to go. I was pleasantly surprised at how much the city and beach front areas had been updated since I last visited. Pier Park is right next to Calypso, and we spent a lot of time walking that strip to visit shops and restaurants (the SkyWheel is also walk-able from Calypso), and this whole area is really nice and clean. However, the beach is oh so crowded. The chair service is nice BUT, there will be a chair right beside you and behind you and people will be putting up giant tents right in front of you. The beach behind Calypso and street in front is very VERY crowded. Avoid PCB if you do not like crowds. If crowds don’t bother you, the beaches are pretty and there is plenty to do at PCB.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable 2 br condo on the beach with excellent amenities and great location!

This condo was perfect for us! Decorated beautifully just like the pictures. Very spacious with plenty of seating in the living/dining area. Kitchen is large and fully stocked with dishes, cookware, bakeware, and small appliances. Beds were comfortable. As was the patio furniture, which got a lot of use. We enjoyed the pools and appreciated the complimentary beach chairs. The exercise room was used a few times as well. We love the location of the calypso, being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. Our favorite walkable restaurants are Hook'd and Dusty's. A 20 minute drive to C-Level is always a must! We have rented from PBC 7 times and have been pleased every time. The whole process is simple and Jenny is always kind and attentive if we have questions. We would highly recommend renting any condo from Premium Beach Condos... but I must say, 509E is our new favorite unit! Can't wait to come back!

Great Condo!

This condo looked just as advertised! The unit is very spacious and had everything you would need. The 5th floor was perfect for watching sunsets with great balcony furniture. Check in and out was simple and the owner communicates well and is available if any issues. The location of this resort is perfect, literally can walk to everything, including shopping, restaurants and the pier. We had zero waits with elevators and no issues with parking. Love that beach service is included with the rental. Highly recommend this unit and resort!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

It’s so good when you get what you pay for and things turn out as you expected!Calypso #509 East is a beautiful unit, much more spacious than most 2 bedroom units, snd it’s on the end with a fantastic view of the beach, both pools and the Tiki Bar!The building is nice and quiet and within walking distance to everything! Even Pier Park is just steps away!The unit is exactly as pictured, very clean and well equipped - we had not one single complaint - even the bathrooms are big.The kitchen is lovely with an open floor plan and stocked with all utensils and gadgets you need for your stay.The Hosts are readily available, considerate and very friendly while remaining professional.We rented 2 units for a birthday/holiday/anniversary family celebration and had no issues at all with either unit.I highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!

PERFECT PLACE

THIS PLACE WAS CLEAN, BEAUITFUL, CLOSE TO PEIR PARK AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED INSIDE THE ROOM AND AT THE RESORT ITSELF. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMOMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE COMING TO PCB, THERE WAS PLENTLY OF ROOM FOR US AND COULD HAVE HELD MORE! RESORT HAD A GIFT SHOP AND TIKI BAR ON SITE! Great Condo

We had a very enjoyable stay at Calypso 509E. The booking and check out was easy, the unit was clean and the location on 5th floor was ideal. Calypso Condos is very convenient to shopping and groceries but that also results in congested car traffic. But it's still a good tradeoff. With so many units, the beach gets a little crowded during busy seasons, but that did not impact our trip. I would recommend this unit and would stay here again.

509E Calypso

This unit is better than the photos. Unit 509E is a large 2 bedroom 2 bath. It is very well furnished and was spotless on arrival, Easy walking distance to Pier Park and restaurants. Will not find anyone easier to work with than Premium Beach Condos. Premium Beach Condos was recommended to us and I highly recommend them also.

Beautiful beach front condo. Location is amazing, within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Condo is gorgeous and very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in several condos and this one by far is the nicest we have ever stayed in. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful Views

A lovely condo, clean spacious and bright. We had wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico and enjoyed the balcony. Large heated pools were enjoyed along with friendly people. Location, location, location!

Great condo, great location, great price point, great property management service! Just home from a girls trip in PCB and altho the weather was chilly, laughter, fun times and great dining warmed us all!. The condo is perfect, altho there we a few non pluses, the overall experience was a home run. We were walking distance to pier park and all it has to offer, and in the middle of the total beach experience. What really impressed me was the management response time to ANY question! Im talking INSTANTANEOUS! Even just for recommendations or trying to locate a bender insert. Great location, great service and great times WE WILL BE BACK!

WOW! Everything you could want in a vacation condo!

Run - don't walk to get your wallet and book this vacation condo! We're seasoned travelers and have our own rentals so we know what we like, and this certainly was a treat! We absolutely enjoyed every single aspect of our experience from booking to check out. Communication was wonderful and spot on. The condo has FABULOUS unobstructed views of the beach and pool, and was close proximity to the elevator and stairs making it easy to access them. The condo is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. In fact, of our 6 night stay, we only went out to dinner twice because we simply didn't need to and eating on the balcony offered the best beach views. The condo is surprisingly spacious so even with max occupancy it has plenty of space that you don't feel like you're on top of each other. It is also super close walking distance to Pier Park and all those activities. The development itself is also very well kept, clean pools and beach, easy parking, and friendly staff. We will definitely be back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Excellent Vacation Property

My wife and I stayed here the week of Oct 24th. We reserved a private parking space which made staying so much easier and allowed for a much easier check in. Check in went seamlessly, no issues.The booking process was easy and the communication from the management staff (Jenny) was exceptional. The condo was just as advertised. It was quiet, clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony view. The furnishings were great, especially the balcony furniture which was very sturdy and comfortable. The location was perfect for us since we waked everywhere. Pier Park was a 5 minute walk giving us access to all the shopping and restaurants. There was easy access to the beach and 2 beach chairs came with the condo! All in all we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Calypso condo 509E

My family and me visited Panama first time, we booked Calypso condo 509E. It was the most perfect condo. The condo was super clean, comfortable, full with everything. The view to the ocean is amazing. You can even just open window in master bedroom and enjoy morning! Check-in and check -out were so fast. We have received all answers to our questions so fast. Our family had the best vacation in this year. I really recommend this condo and would like to return again. Thank you so much !

Great conod- really nice

We have been going to PCB since 1986 and stayed at a variety of locations, especially privately owned condos for the past 15 years. This one would rate at least in the top 5 of all our stays. The unit was very clean and neat, checkin was easy and the owner kept us informed every step of the way prior to our stay. The location was great and just a short walk to pier park (no condo complex is closer than Calypso). The floorplan of this unit is larger than any other floorplan we have stayed in at Calypso and feels very roomy with lots of gulf front views. I plan to stay here again.

Wonderful

We absolutely loved staying in this condo. It was very beachy, cute and very spacious for our little one to run around. The rooms were so cute and the beds were very comfortable. The view from our balcony was amazing to watch the sunset from. We loved how pier park was seconds away and how we could pretty much walk to everything. The perk of having two beach chairs come with the room was so nice. The only thing we noticed was that the dish washer doesn’t work all that well, which led to the dishes in the cabinets not being clean so we had to re wash dishes as we used them. And the water just sits in the dishwasher so it leaves a not so pleasant smell afterwards. Very small issue though, that easily be fixed. It does not effect my rating for this wonderful place. We will definitely be back next year :)

Already booking our 2nd trip!!

This is quite literally the nicest condo I have ever visited, and I have been coming to the beach for 40+ years. It has it all! The view and distance to the ocean is fantastic, and the pools are incredible. Not to mention the Tiki bar and amazing staff taking care of you at the beach chairs/umbrellas. Jenny was available for our every need/question. We could not have been happier and could not have felt more pampered! We are looking forward to July and are trying to arrange some dates for next year! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent Condo

Just returned from our stay at this condo at Calypso. The condo was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was exceptionally clean and the rental process was a breeze. This condo is in a great location - with Pier Park being just across the street and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Calypso 509E

My family has been coming to PCB for around 6 years... we have stayed at Calypso each year.. the first year we went through Home Away... although ever since we have stayed in Condos owned by Jenny Oest...Jenny @ , she has all varieties of bedrooms to suit small to large families and we usually book 2 each time and so thankful they are side by side... I have never ever had a problem with Jenny and any questions I’ve had are always answered quick and courteous... trust her completely... her condos are all clean and well kept... she’s my go to condo owner for sure..I highly recommend Jenny... you can’t go wrong...

Unit 509 East is very well furnished and very clean. This is a large 2 bedroom condo with large balcony. Unit is easy walking distance to Pier Park and the Pier. We visit Panama City twice a year and have used Premium Beach Condos for 5 years never a bad experience.If you want a trouble free vacation experience just call Jenny

Wonderful condo and fabulous owners

This was our first stay at the calypso, and we were VERY pleased! We go to the beach every summer as a family, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had! Jenny was so kind and helpful, always very quick to respond to any questions I had.The condo looked just like it is pictured. Very clean and plenty of room! As a family, we all agree that not only was this the best condo we’ve ever stayed with, but Jenny is also the best to work with of anyone we’ve ever used!We will definitely be coming back next year!
