This gem beach house exceeded all our expectations. The views of the ocean and sunsets are absolutely unbeatable. The house has been beautifully renovated with a pristine and fully equipped kitchen. My teenage sons enjoyed using the Kayaks, bicycles, hot tube, etc. The golf cart was a big plus that helped us move around easier. Everything in the house, the bathrooms, bedrooms and linens were impeccable. It truly has everything you could possibly need for the perfect vacation. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely 5 Star from initial contact through the day of check out. It was the most peaceful area we’ve ever stayed in Florida. The house was large enough for our party of 8 and it was very well appointed and clean. The beach area was beautiful and quiet as well. I would recommend working with this company and would also return to Anna Maria. It was a perfect vacation.

This house was the perfect spot for our family reunion which included two small children. The back porch opens to an expanse of sand (makes for a killer sand box) and is just steps from the beach (which not only provides breathtaking views but is also super convenient for trips back and forth to the house). The hosts live nearby and were super responsive to our questions about the area.

The pictures just do not do it justice ! Before you even make it to the home the local surroundings , attractions and people let you know you are going to have a great vacation! Then fast forward to arriving at the home and as soon as you walk through the gate you can tell how well maintained this property is . But the real attraction is not only how beautiful the home is but the view as you walk through the front door… the view is to die for ! I swear we could have stayed there forever! The whole vibe of Anna Maria and the ascetic’s of the home instantly gives you a at home relaxing feeling . And the Sunsets … I can’t imagine there is a better place to watch it , seriously !!! And the host ! They just do not get any better, they had Amazing recommendations for local dinning & the fresh seafood market all the must see and do things on the island . I swear if you can think of it , they know exactly where and how you can get it or do it ! Hands down one of our favorite places to date!

Serendipity was the perfect beach house get away! Sweet beach cottage with amazing views, right in the beach, plentiful amenities, and close to all AMI has to offer. We traveled with 3 young kids and the house was perfect for them.

Perfect part of the beach . The house has a beautiful view of the water, but sits back enough to give you privacy. We loved sitting in the sunroom and watching the sun come up in the morning and the sunset at night. The house is beautifully decorated , but very comfortable. Was happy we picked the right house for our first visit to Anna Maria Island!

Very responsive and friendly host. The hot tub at Serendipity was destroyed due to hurricane Milton and the host allowed us to use a hot tub at one of his other vacant properties in order to accommodate. Also responded to all messages and calls within minutes, highly recommend staying at one of their many beautiful properties!

Anna Maria is absolutely place to go, the best spot to stay is on the beach, where this cottage is… it is an old cottage worth more care from the owners, honestly it was not exactly like the photos - the kitchen was a bit dirty, same as the dishes, noisy beds, cockroaches everywhere, we paid for a place with hot tube - it wasn’t there and no one told us, some lights didn’t work at all the price is bit too much for what you get for. We left a day earlier because the house really disappointed us. But they communicated very well a were very friendly!

We loved staying at this home on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable and as a bonus the golf cart was included. The views from the back room were beautiful and you could see the sunset from the house. I have just a few (hopefully) helpful tips if you stay: 1 - bring some type of water shoe or something that covers your feet for the walk to the beach. The sand gets hot in the afternoon. 2 - The air conditioner will not go below 72. During the day this is perfect since it is so hot outside. At night we found it to be warm in some of the rooms. They have ceiling fans and portable fans, but not very helpful. 3 - The rental company is very responsive. Contact them if you need to. The only time we never received a call back is when the manager was supposed to help us with the air - never heard from them. (this would not impact my reviews - still such a great place to stay). Thank you for having us and we hope to be back soon!

Just got home and we are already looking at our calendars to book again either this fall or next spring (or both)! The home was perfect for us. Two adult couples stayed and we had everything we needed. The views were amazing. We spent most evenings on the deck watching the sunset. The garage was packed with all the beach and water toys we could needed. Golf cart and bicycles came in handy too. The owner also proved us with some local recommendations, which were great! Can’t wait to get back!

Serendipity was absolutely spectacular!!! The location was perfect for our family and the kids! We enjoyed grilling and watching sunsets after a day out on the Gulf paddle boarding. This property is as pictured and consistent with earlier reviews. Very comfortable for our adult family - 2 daughters and son inlaw. A stroll but walkable to restaurants and shops. Great enclosed backyard for our dog. On the beach and having privacy. Kitchen amenities could be enhanced for those looking for a location to accommodate cooking/dining in.Overall great stay.

We loved our trip! We were on a friends trip so having 4 bedrooms/4 Bathrooms was perfect. We could walk right to the beach. It took the host a little over a day to respond to my request about having an issue, so that was not the greatest. We weren't going to let that ruin our fun. Waking up to beach right in front of us was amazing. You could just walk out in the morning and find tons of shells and sand dollars. The hot tub was also a plus due to us having colder weather than we would have liked. All in all we had a great trip. We will be back. :)

Serendipity was the absolute perfect location for our friends Florida getaway. The beach was steps away and sunsets were amazing. The lodging was even better than advertised! Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom! Very quiet area but very close to some great restaurants and entertainment. Golf cart was a plus! Rick, Lyn, and Dan were excellent hosts. Would highly recommend this property!

These cute old Florida cottages on the beach are hard to come by. Such beautiful decor and a fabulous view of the ocean. The beach equipment and golf cart were an appreciated bonus, too. We would stay here again!

Beautiful serene beach right outside our backyard. We spent every night watching sunset and every day enjoying the beach and shops/restaurants in the area. The house was very clean and had a nice deck and sun room. We tried the hot tub but it was just warm and we couldn’t figure out how to heat it up. All bedrooms looked different and had a different style bathrooms attached, one of the showers was a small tub, another one was like a dark shower room and third one was a more normal shower (good to know in case you’re renting with a large group and need to share). All beds were king size, and all on the softer side. All bathroom/shower/kitchen fixtures are outdated but clean. Dishwasher works well. They have two big baskets of towels in the living room- which was very useful. Washer and dryer was also great. There is a detached bedroom/bathroom that comes off the garage. It was updated and new. Garage had lots of beach stuff like bikes, paddle boards, beach chairs. Overall 5 star stay.

This house was perfect! The ocean was the backyard and it was the clearest water I have ever seen in the Gulf. The house was clean and very spacious with lots of room to hang out. The garage was full of beach extras, as well. The restaurants in the area were easy to get to and delicious! The host was very responsive and even brought us a small cooler for the beach! The beach itself was gorgeous. The home has a lot of potential if they would just modernize it a bit with the amenities in the main house. I understood the concept of the design being an older style but things like toilets, kitchen appliances and AC systems could be more modern. With some items in the house, you couldn’t tell if it was a style or if the pieces were actually damaged or run down. The garage bedroom was very nice however and more modern, the only disclaimer is that there is a few frogs and outdoor bugs inside and an old odor. The cleaning staff definitely didn’t put much effort in making sure the floors and couch was spotless in the main house which I won’t put a blame on the owners for that. Also, the back sliding door to the beach did not lock. We felt a little unsafe in the main house because of that and slept in the garage room instead. There was no hot water and the jacuzzi would not heat up. All things I think, if they worked on would make the place stellar.
