Start your day by watching the sunrise over Sarasota Bay, then relax in our beautifully landscaped "Key West" style courtyard before heading a few steps in the other direction to beautiful Cortez Beach! When you've wrapped up your day by watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, you can walk a few blocks to restaurants, shopping, etc. An unforgettable vacation rental experience!

The space
A unique and unforgettable vacation experience awaits you at Island Getaway. Island Getaway is a secluded nine-unit vacation rental complex located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island. The complex has an old Florida "key west" feel. The complex is situated around a quiet, beautifully landscaped red brick courtyard, which is enclosed by the vacation units. Each unit opens onto the courtyard, offering privacy from the street and surrounding properties. The courtyard contains common areas with patio tables and chairs, walkways and landscaped areas, offering opportunities for both camaraderie and privacy, depending on your mood. The serene tropical setting is only steps from the bay on one side and the white sand beaches and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico on the other. It is centrally located so you can walk or take a free trolley to all the nearby activities, including historic Bridge Street with its restaurants and bars, shops, mini-golf, marina and the city pier.

Seaclusion is a two bedroom/two bath first floor beach condo for your vacation privacy and enjoyment! Screened lanai with seating area. Charming Old Florida feel with open concept living room/stocked kitchen with upgraded cabinets and countertops. This cozy beach condo with large bedrooms contains a king bed in one with two twins in the other, each with their own bathroom.

Unique Benefits

All units are accessed directly from the courtyard, there are no interior hallways. You will have your own reserved parking space and access code for the lockbox. All areas of the open courtyard are available for guest use, as are the two washer/dryer units (no charge) and outdoor shower.

Island Getaway’s unique layout and desirable location make it the perfect place for extended family trips or group vacations! Each family can stay in their own unit for privacy and quiet while still sharing the semi-private common space in the Courtyard. The units are: Family Tides, Island Hideaway, Paradise Cove, Reel Paradise, Seaclusion, Serenity, Serendipity, Flamingo and Sea Gem, and each may be booked using this reservation system.

Its a peaceful setting ideally located near some of AMI's most sought after destinations, including Cortez Beach and Bridge Street. The layout of the units and buildings allow guests to pick an area to relax alone or join other guests in conversation.

Anna Maria Island is pedestrian friendly and is served by free trolley which runs daily from the Anna Maria City Pier to nearby Coquina Beach. Island Getaway is located just steps from a trolley stop. You can also rent golf carts, motorized scooters, or bicycles and do your own exploring.

The Island has three cities: Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria - all of which are surrounded by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Sarasota Bay, Anna Maria Sound and Tampa Bay. It’s just minutes to local attractions and theaters. You are also convenient to the Florida Airports and Theme Parks.

Venture west over the Cortez Road Bridge to Cortez Fishing Village on mainland Bradenton (less than a mile) and you’ll find two marinas offering a variety of boating excursions, sailing cruises, fishing charters, canoe/kayak rentals, pontoon boat rentals, ultralight rides/tours, parasailing and jet ski rentals. Cross the bridge from Anna Maria Island to Longboat Key to the south for more exploring or continue on to St. Armand's Circle at the southern end (by Lido Beach) for a delightful afternoon of shopping and dining.
