“Take Me A Wave” is in Panama City Beach, situated on the quiet end of Thomas Drive, yet still close to restaurants and main strip, therefore it is a relaxing and amazing location. The condo building is a smaller one, it is only eight floors and 61 units total, meaning no lines waiting for and elevator or trying to find a spot on the beach (we have all the beach in front of our building, plus both sides).
We are a 2-bedroom, split floorplan (1,050 sq ft), 2-bath, top floor condo located right ON the beach. The spacious master features a King size bed, workspace, sofas and en suite bath. The second bedroom has a very comfortable Queen size bed; there is an equipped kitchen including (Keurig + drip coffee makers) and space to sit. You can drink your morning coffee on the private beachfront balcony and watch the dolphins jump in the water and enjoy the peace of the morning. Smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. There is even a desk if you need to get some work done, or plan to work a little and play alot! Sunsets are picture perfect and the beach is definitely good for the soul. Spend the day on the beach and then take a walk at sunset, it’s the best way to spend the day!
We have private beach access and also have beach stuff* for you to use while staying: beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, tubes, inflatable life vests boogie boards and bags.
*beach supplies not guaranteed; things happen and sometimes the ocean takes something, the wind kicks up and the umbrella or something else ends up a mile away, something gets a tear in it, or sadly and unfortunately folks take home with them. We replace numerous times, but cannot guarantee what is there each time.
On the quiet end of Thomas Drive, but walking distance to restaurants, attractions and the best ice cream shop (at the front of the parking lot). Still easy to get to Pier Park (5 mi) if you want to go there one day, about 10 minutes away.
Great place to ride bikes or golf carts as means of transportation.
A couple of places we have found that are great and not tourist traps:
-Captain Anderson’s - this is a great place and probably been around the longest. They open at 4:30 and fill up fast, but then once the first group gets done eating it starts to get a lull about 6 some nights before picking up again, probably not the weekend. Grouper, shrimp, crab tenders, and She Crab soup just to name a few faves. Hush puppies come with meal, also delish. And the rice rolls!
-The Grand Marlin is a nice place to go, right on the water (marina), sit upstairs to enjoy open-air dining and a view of the water. Grouper Piccata is our fave, crab cakes are also great there.
-C-Level - grouper (and cheeks), crab cakes and the best key lime pie we have found down there.
-Bayou on the Beach (not actually on the beach and closed Sunday & Monday)- who dat shrimp, anything with the who dat sauce, tuna, the regular shrimp.
-Schooners is down on the beach - has the best crab cakes, coffee crusted tuna, drunken shrimp bowl and strawberry spinach salad are also faves. If you get something and want to split, they will do it in the kitchen and you’ll end up getting more that way! In November and February, 3pm-5pm, the ENTIRE menu is half off; it's a great way to try everything.
-Patches - hole in the wall about 3 miles down, right past Schooners, great Rueben & Cuban sandwiches, sweet potato & regular fries(crispy), pizza is also good and actually never had anything there that is not good.
-Marathon gas station (now Jet Off, but sometimes comes up as EZ Way on GPS now) on Thomas Dr, yes, it is random, but has the best sandwiches. People talked about it, so we checked it out. You can even call ahead if you want. They have sandwiches, the Rueben is our favorite, Italian is also on the fave list! It’s the one at 1724 Thomas Dr. We go in the morning and get so we can have for lunch on the beach.
-Local Steamer and Shrimp City have great Red Gulf Shrimp and you can have your own shrimp boil, but not have the mess! They also have good shrimp dip (Shrimp City is best IMO).
Other things to note:
+ Please note the complex requires the responsible booking party to be at least 25 years of age.
+ Must check in at the office within 24 hours of arrival to show ID to receive wrist bands that must be worn at all times during stay.
+ Parking is $40 (+tax) per car, two cars allowed per reservation. Guest should register their car via the barcode parking system upon arrival, code is on the refrigerator. This price is for your entire stay.
+ Air conditioning will shut off when the doors are left open for over 30 seconds; once closed will take 2-3 minutes to turn back on.

Discounts: while we do appreciate the military, come from a military town, and grandfather was in the service; nurses, my sister-in-law is one; Fire, Police, EMT, Rescue: my husband is retired from that, as well…by booking direct through me (the owner), you are saving a lot of money by not having to pay unnecessary fees charged by a third-party, sometimes $3,000 savings just in fees that neither of us will never see.
Luggage carts are NOT ALLOWED in the condo and renter will be charged $100 -$150 if not followed.
Payment info:
Non-refundable deposit due at time of booking, in the amount of half the total due. Plus $300 refundable damage deposit (will be refunded 10 days after departure).
Remaining balance due 75 days prior to arrival.
Forms of payment accepted: Zelle, PayPal and Venmo (as friends & family, if processed as goods & services an additional amount will be added to account for the amount taken off total during transaction.
Credit cards accepted + 5% processing has to be added.
If cash or check preferred, must allow time for mailing and clearing bank prior to date due.
Cancellation policy:
60 - 90 days prior to arrival - 50% refund if paid in full. Deposit not applicable.
45 - 59 days prior to arrival – 30% of total will be refunded.
0 - 44 days prior to arrival - No refund will be given.
Failure to pay balance due 75 days prior to arrival will result in cancellation with no refund or $100 late fee.

We enjoyed our stay in 806 so very much. It is a beautiful condo with all that you need! There were beach chairs and toys available for use! Restaurants and grocery store very close by. Very secure complex with friendly and helpful staff on site. They had a garbage truck hit a water main on site while we were there so we lost water for one evening and part of next day but that wasn’t their fault and they did everything to get it fixed quickly. One gentleman that worked there brought a 5 gallon bucket of pool water up to room so we could at least flush toilets! lol! Worked with owner Jennifer directly for booking and she was very helpful and responsive! Will definitely stay there again!

We stayed here August 1st through the 9th. We absolutely loved everything about this condo. It was in a good location, the pool was quiet, and there was not much elevator traffic. The condo had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed having the sand toys and extra beach chairs. There was card games under the TV, which helped on a rainy day or before bed. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything needed to make meals. It was nice having the washer and dryer as well. We will for sure be back to this location. The staff in the office was friendly too, all around, a perfect stay.

Beautifully decorated condo. We enjoyed the large updated accommodations for our family of 5. Especially enjoyed the master bedroom mattress. Best sleep I’ve had in a while! It was a stormy week so it was nice to have such an enjoyable space to relax. Comfortable balcony furniture as well. Pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for the kids to use in the big master closet! Host was amazing, she stayed in contact upon arriving and checked in on us. I was worried about booking a place in PC Beach the week after school got out, but this place was perfect! This was a quiet beach area so we never felt crowded. Now everywhere else was crowded.. haha! We had beautiful weather and water conditions! The 2nd bedroom was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it worked! The balcony was large and had awesome views. The mattress in the master bedroom was comfortable for me. (I have chronic pain issues and hotel mattresses are terrible!) We are from AL but I’ve never stayed in PC beach before..but this was a great visit. Great value for condo directly on the beach!

What a relaxing vacation! The first thing we noticed was the fantastic view from the balcony. I spent a lot of time in the evenings out on the balcony sitting on the couch and reading! The water was absolutely beautiful, emerald green shores and so calm and crystal clear. We lucked out and had beautiful weather all week long. The location was great. You could see high rises, but they were far enough away that there were not people on top of people at the beach and it was very easy to find a spot as close to shore as you wanted, and if you wanted to go anywhere, most things were 5-7 minutes away! The master bedroom was HUGE with a walk in closet and plenty of water toys inside for kids, and plenty of room to store your luggage out of the way and hang up your clothes. The kitchen was well appointed, anything you would need for meal prep was there. A nice little family friendly condo complex. I will definitely be back.

Take out trash, put any used/dirty dishes in dishwasher and start cycle, place used towels in bathtub, set thermostat to 75°F (cool) in warmer months, 65°F (heat) in cooler months, turn off lights, lock doors
