Enjoy modern elegance in this ocean-side 2-bedroom 2-bath unit with a newly (2022) remodeled kitchen, custom cabinetry, bathrooms, and upscale furnishings! Every room has access to balconies offering sweeping panoramic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River. Perfect for greeting the morning sunrise with a cup of coffee and saying good night to the sunset with a glass of wine.
Our family condo sleeps 6 comfortably. A queen-sized master suite features a private balcony, private bathroom and tub/shower, huge walk-in closet, and mirrored vanity dressing area. A queen-sized guest bedroom has its own private balcony and walk-in closet. A cube-shaped Murphy bed is an elegant family room feature in the day, yet expands to a third queen-sized bed at night. A family room sectional couch also expands in size and would be a great night's sleep for an adult or kids.
We know you want to fill your suitcases with everything you need for another perfect day (and evening!) in paradise. So, we fully stock the kitchen with non-perishables such as olive oil, coffee, spices, and the like. Likewise, we have soaps, shampoos, linen, inside towels, and beach towels for your use as these can take up a lot of room, too. We simply ask you to replace anything you empty and leave it for the next guests.
This, and more, await you at our Sherwin condo, located directly on the beach 3.3 miles (5.3 km) south of the Daytona Beach Main Street Pier and only 16 minutes from Daytona International Speedway and the Daytona airport, putting you close to all the action and far enough away to retreat to the serenity of the sun and surf.
At only 1 hour 20 minutes to the Orlando airport and theme parks (Disney, Universal, and Sea World), 1 hour 15 minutes to Kennedy Space Center, and only 1 hour to St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, life at the Sherwin is perfectly located to enjoy all Central Florida has to offer.
Owners are not onsite. This rental is managed by a local property manager.
2024 March: Hurricanes Ian and Nicole knocked down our seawall and consumed the sand up to our pool. Our pool is closed for repair. Beach access is currently a short two-property walk to the south. We hope to have the pool and access to the World's Most Famous Beach open by 2024 May. Discounts are available.

The fine print: Rental period: 2-week minimum; 6-month maximum (May through October, inclusive). Off-season rates are available. Florida's 12.5% occupancy tax is an additional fee. A $500 security deposit (refundable) and a $130 cleaning fee (non-refundable) are required. No pets. No smoking. The primary renter must be 25 or older (kids are welcome). Rent includes outdoor onsite parking (no trailers/RVs), water, electricity, garbage, high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, basic cable, 4K smart TV, DVD player, use of the Sherwin condo's resort-styled common areas, and direct access to the World's Most Famous Beach.
Please book 11 days before your rental starts as we must notify our building manager (or you pay +$100 per day for each day short of 10 days).
Cancelation Policy: For rentals 2 months or less: 90 days or more before the start date will receive a 100% refund. For rentals 3 months or more: 120 days or more before the start date will receive a 100% refund. Otherwise: No refund.

About the owner: As snowbirds from Minnesota, we enjoy our beachfront condo during the winter months of November through April; and invite you to enjoy our little slice of paradise for the months between.
Why this property? Brian's mother was born in Florida before moving to Wisconsin. Every year, she and her husband would throw their three boys into the back of the Chrysler and drive, non-stop, to Florida to visit with relatives. Daytona Beach was a goto day trip for driving on the beach and finding a place to play for the day.
