Advance to Boardwalk! Two spacious and luxurious bedrooms, one spacious loft (adults can stand in the loft), three bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi), directly on the beach with two Oceanside decks lead you to your own private boardwalk right onto the beautiful sands of St. George Island. The Master Bedroom with a king bed offers a private deck overlooking the ocean and has a private attached bath with Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom with a queen bed also has a private attached shower. The third floor loft offers a king bed. Multiple flat Screen TVs, VCR's, and DVD' s, free wireless high speed internet access, plenty of chairs on the beach-overlooking decks. Hot and cold outdoor shower, Park style grill.
Great central island location (the 9th cottage from light house), just steps to island playground, shops, and restaurants. There is no need to take a chance anywhere else!

St. George Island has no highrises and is a family friendly, relaxing break in the Gulf of Mexico. It is central to Florida's largest eco-tourism area. Come try it out! Once people discover the area they always come back.
St George Island!: St. George Island was ranked the #2 family beach. (We of course think it is #1.) Come enjoy the uncrowded family-friendly beaches where even the family dog is welcome! Enjoy truly fresh and famous Apalachicola Bay oysters, or any other of your favorite seafood at the area's restaurants. Go fishing. Shop for fishing gear, souvenirs, beach stuff. Go antiquing in Apalachicola. Visit any of the area's many nature preserves.

Boardwalk has an exterior security camera. The camera is mounted on the street side exterior with a view of the parking area and a portion of the entry steps.

LENGTH OF RENTAL
Boardwalk offers only weekly stays except Winter. Reservations for less than a week may be made for Spring and Fall depending upon property availability and approval. (Short stays are usually available to be booked within one month of the arrival day.)

1.Up to one week rental: $85 for up to two dogs.
$45 each extra dog
2. Monthly rental: $160 up to two dogs and $70 for each extra dog

About the owner: Hello I'm Reggie,
We have been managing rental houses on St. George since 2003. Our goal is to provide a very welcoming house upon your arrival and no need for service calls. We love exploring and learning about the island and area, and discovering new things from guests. Please feel free to ask us any questions and sharing your discoveries. (Ask us where one can find thousands of Fiddler Crabs in February, or places to put in a kayak on the bay side.)
Why this property? This house has a fun Monopoly theme decoration and super comfy beds. The central island location is great for leaving your car parked the whole stay - everything you need is within a short walk. And St. George gives a whole new meaning to "beachfront," you're so close you feel like you can hear the crabs skittering on the beach.

The house is exactly as pictured on the inside but it’s much closer to the beach than it appears. We were looking for a quiet beach vacation with exceptional beachfront views and that is exactly what we got. Clean, quiet, safe, and very relaxing. We found the island itself a little uneventful because we were not thrilled with the choices of things to do other than beach time. Restaurant food was just okay. Many offered the exact same menu. But we loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops and the lighthouse if we wanted to but it was too hot so we still drove. It’s a great house for family game night. Not so much for movies or TV because the furniture is not big enough for the 4 of us to hang out and the bedroom remotes didn’t have batteries and we kept forgetting to buy them. But we were not on vacation to watch movies. Great place to take your little pet on vacation. Warning - vacations in Florida are HOT and HUMID. We quickly realized our umbrella and little tent was not going to cut it. We splurged on a giant canopy and it along with the 15mph sea breeze saved us. Otherwise it would have been a much different week at the beach because there was not much else to do there.The owner was super responsive and I appreciated how quickly he answered our questions. He gets 5 Stars along with the house. My prayers are with you and the others on the island so that you are spared from this hurricane.

I think this year was hotter than usual just like the rest of US. I personally prefer Spring or Fall Season. I wish I knew you needed battery. I usually stored some in one of the bottom drawers under the kitchen counter. I am glad to know you have enjoyed your stay. I hope to see you again. Take care! Reggie
