Welcome to beautiful Cape San Blas FL, located along Florida's Forgotten Coast in the Florida Panhandle--50 miles SE of Panama City Port St. Joe and St. George Island and Apalachicola.
Cape Casa is a light-filled end unit, located directly on a freshwater fishing pond (can fish or feed the turtles FROM the back deck), and it's just 200 steps to the beach!

It is in beautiful, gated Barrier Dunes community which is just steps from the entrance to St. Joseph State Park and its large variety of wildlife, Hiking, Biking, and over 16,000 acres of awesome 'Beachfront' wilderness surrounded on 3 sides by the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joe Bay.
It has a King and Queen Bedroom both have ensuite full bathrooms and private decks. There is an additional half bath on the main floor and queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, and there is a gas grill in the carport. (We even thought of a backup gas tank in case the gas runs out).
We provide everything from beach chairs and linens to highspeed internet, right down to the little things like laundry detergent, trash bags and dish soap to make your packing easy and your stay relaxing!
In the evening, sit on your deck and take in the awesome beauty of a moonlit night and stars larger and in more abundance than you've ever seen. No city lights or commercialism on the Cape! In the morning watch the sunrise right from the deck then head down and pick up some HOT WEBER's DONUTS!
You will always enjoy a wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere in Barrier Dunes and on the Cape San Blas pet-friendly beaches--even during spring break/summer!

We offer multiple Barrier Dunes rentals. If you have a larger party, they are all within steps of each other!
Area Information
This condo located in the gated community of Barrier Dunes, is a Pet-Friendly Vacation Rental on a Pet-Friendly Beach! It is located right outside the gates to St Joseph Peninsula State Park. The park is a great place to explore and enjoy hiking trails, surrounded by St Joe Bay on three sides!
Barrier Dunes has 2 pools (One is direct beach front!), lighted tennis courts (the only ones in Cape San Blas!), 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, pet stations, boat washing and parking area, and boardwalks throughout
You will need a car to get around, however, Cape San Blas has a great biking trail! You can rent bikes (kayaks and many other things) from Scallop Cove right there on the cape.
If you're looking for a quiet family and pet friendly vacation spot in the Florida Panhandle, this is the place to be! Avoid the crowds of Destin and Panama City! Cape San Blas doesn't even have a traffic light!
Attractions Within Walking Distance
There are many activities to do in Cape San Blas, from kayaking and biking to fishing, horseback riding, and much more!
You can rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs and lots more from Scallop Cove, right there on the Cape. It has 10 miles of bike path.
If you need a few grocery or beach items, visit the Cape Trading Post or Scallop Cove (on the Cape). They also have great ice cream and fresh donuts, made to order burgers, pizza and hot sandwiches!

About the owner: Some of our favorite things to do are: Bonfires at the beach after sunset, scalloping in the bay, kayaking, biking, Indian Pass Raw Bar to enjoy oysters, crab legs and steam shrimp as well as great local music and company, a day poking around the stores (and eating) in Port St Joe, and many, many other activities!
