Why travel so far to Key West when you can relax here in Punta Gorda at an amazing modern home with the Key West look. This home has been whimsically decorated with furnishings that reflect the laid-back, quirky island life style of Key West. 10 minutes from the Punta Gorda downtown, well known Fisherman's Village and local beach. 30 minutes from the Venice Beach, 50 minutes from Siesta Beach, 1 hour from the Lido Beach, and 90 minutes from Sanibel or Captiva island.
This quirky Key West look home has survived through Hurricane Charley and most recent Hurricane Ian. The beautiful mimosa tree in the backyard was whipped by Hurricane Charley. As you enter the house, you will be stepping into an amazing open floor plan. With a few steps further, you will be introduced with a view of the pool along with the lake where you can enjoy the hammock and the two swinging egg chairs. This house has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. One master bathroom is privately linked with the master bedroom. One Jack and Jill bathroom which one bedroom has direct access to. It can be access directly from the pool or from the common hallway.

About the host: I love to travel to explore around the world. Besides the love for traveling, I love everything about real estate and home decorating from landscaping to interior designing. I’m a license realtor in Florida and Illinois. I am selling real estate and a property manager specialize in working with investors to help them running a solid vacation rental home through. In 2019, I have restored a beautiful home in Chicago to accommodate 12+ guests to indulge your senses with an epicurean getaway. In 2021, I have restored another beautiful home in Punta Gorda, FL. I would love to share these extraordinary homes with everyone around this globe. In addition to the Chicago market, I have now expanded to offer my clients' rental houses in Florida ranging from Fort Lauderdale to Punta Gorda. I cannot wait to host you!!!!
Why this property? I honestly stumbled into this property. I was very new in Florida. Had no clue what the city of Punta Gorda is all about. Out of curiosity, I was searching for anything in the South of Florida with a pool and a waterfront under $300,000 around summer 2021. This ugly duckling came up on my search for $254,000 as a foreclosure. I showed this property to my few potential clients. They all turned away because of the amount of work to bring this ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. I was able to look beyond and saw the height of the ceiling was high enough in comparison to a lot of old Floridian houses with low ceiling and the space was big enough for me to play around with. Last but not least, the view of the backyard starting from the pool, looking through the mimosa tree and Voila!!! The beautiful lake. I am not a morning person but I have to admit, I get up early enough to catch the sunrise. What a beauty! Occasionally, you can catch the most amazing rainbow hovering around the house.
