This was our first time at this property but we have stayed at various other houses and locations on AMI. We just loved everything about the house, the outdoor space, proximity to the beach and general location on the island. My top priorities when looking for a rental are proximity to the beach, private pool, bedroom/bathroom configuration, and large kitchen open to lounging space. This house really delivered on each of these and because of this it was my favorite rental on AMI so far! If you don't have a very large group, this is the house for you! We were two adult couples, but with the third bedroom you could accommodate one family with children Our general routine was to enjoy the beach in the first part of the day and the towels, wagon, chairs, umbrellas and cooler all made it very easy to head out and be comfortable after arriving at the beach. Everything provided was of great quality and the walk to the beach is very easy, even more so than what it looks like from the photos on the property listing. We enjoyed the pool, spa and outdoor space every afternoon. There is plenty of sun all day but also options if you want to be shaded. One thing we really loved was the landscaping as it provided plenty of privacy and a very tranquil setting. You could easily forget you were in the middle of a neighborhood. The spa was a favorite of the group and was enjoyed every day! The furniture in the covered outdoor space is great and the layout is conducive to eating, lounging and relaxing. Location in Holmes Beach to me was perfect. The southbound trolley stop was right at the end of the road and the northbound trolley was just a few blocks away which was usually a welcome walk after a dinner out. With a car or golf cart anything you could need was a very quick drive away and there were a few restaurants you could walk to if you didn't mind a bit of a walk (or Beach Bistro is very close, just on the pricier side) Home interior was updated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a great layout, the pool table was a lot of fun and we enjoyed some evening tv gathered on the comfy sectional. The upper porch we mostly used in the mornings and it was a nice spot to watch the activity of the neighborhood. There was plenty of comfortable seating with tables to dine or check up on your emails. The bedrooms were supe, the dedicated bath in the main bedroom was large and nicely appointed. The Jack and Jill bath was also very nicely updated.

I can't think of any negatives about this place. The location is superb - on a quiet street but close to the beach. Not all homes here have pools but this one does, along with a spa, set in beautiful tropical landscaped gardens. The house was spacious enough for a family of 5 - children aged 11 - 15. High specification finish on bathrooms, flooring, worktops etc etc. Incredibly well equipped kitchen. Separate utility room with washing machine and tumbler. Separate room for all beach stuff - provision of trolley to carry deck chairs, parasols etc. Next to the pool, lovely eating area, cooler/fridge, 2 tvs and seating. Also, great pool table, table tennis table and basketball machine. All in all, a wonderful experience. Andy was a great source of help and communicated frequently too.

This was hands down the nicest rental we have stayed in! The house is even better in person. It was super clean, updated and everything was functional. The pool was our favorite part, it was amazing! We have food allergies so we cooked most of our meals there. The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances were great. A few other things we loved about the property: the outdoor lounge area by the pool, the pool table, pop a shot, ping pong and the short distance to the beach. We can't wait to come back!

Look no further, this is THE place to stay at Anna Maria Island. This place has every amenity you could imagine, and then some you didn't think you needed but was oh so nice to have. The house was so clean and gorgeously decorated with a luxurious beach house feeling. The location to the beach was close, but the house even provided a heavy duty cart that our kids pulled loaded with all of our stuff to make the short walk easier. They provide beach chairs, Boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas, noodles, you literally don't need to bring any of your beach stuff if you don't want to. The pool/hot tub area is amazing with not one but TWO outdoor TVs, a picnic eating area, a huge Jenga and Connect 4 set, and our kids loved the pool lights. Never thought I would need a refrigerator down by the pool but wow was I glad we had it! The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked with things like saran wrap, aluminum foil, Tupperware, things we didn't have at other beach houses but so thankful we had here. My family loved the pool table, pop a shot and ping pong making this place the ultimate vacation beach house. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on while on vacation, all of them had pillow toppers. The owner, Andy was very kind and responsive and great at communicating and answering my questions. Check in was very easy. I suggested to him that it would be nice to have a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, and he already has plans to install one. When we go back to Anna Maria Island we for sure plan on staying here! So glad we found this perfect beach house.

This property is finished and maintained to a very high standard and is very well equipped, especially if you have older kids. Everything was in great condition and other than very high beds, we could not fault it. We didn’t have to go out at get kitchen cupboard basics. There was even sun lotion and bug spray. Lots of space to spread out for a mixed group. Very short walk to the beach. Great outdoor area with games, bar and lounge areas with tvs. We would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing first stay on AMI. The home is located in the best location possible. Its a few blocks from the beach and right in the middle of the island, with great access to everything. It's a beautiful home, with a fantastic outdoor area. The home is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Having a beach wagon, chairs, sand toys, ect was a huge plus for us. We will definitely recommend to everyone and will be coming back, hopefully soon! One of the best homes we have ever rented on VRBO!!!

Neben der einmaligen Lage (1-2min zu Fuss an Meer / ruhige, gepflegte Nachbarschaft), ist das Haus selber eine Wucht! Sehr hoher Standard und sehr liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch ist der Vermieter Andy immer sehr hilfsbereit und reagiert schnell bei Fragen, gibt gute und wertvolle Tipps. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dies nur wärmstens Weiterempfehlen.

This house is so beautiful and in a great location. It was a very short walk to the beach and the free trolley. I really appreciated all of the beach chairs, umbrellas, and buggy to get it all to the beach and back. The backyard is so beautiful and private. We swam everyday. This is the perfect vacation home for family or friends. The home itself is gorgeous, clean and fully appointed with extraordinary attention to detail (e.g., lots of towels for pool and beach, and everything you need for a day at the beach). Not enough can be said about the pleasure of relaxing around a private pool and spa after a day at the beach. The home is strategically placed a short distance to the beach, free island trolley, restaurants, farmers markets and shopping. Andy was an extremely responsive host. Our stay at Sunnyside was perfect from start to finish! This home had all the amenities that we needed and allowed our family of four to spread out and not feel crammed into small gathering spaces. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub every day and the outdoor tv/lounge area was perfect! The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away and Sunnyside made it even easier by providing all of the beach-going necessities. We stayed for 2 weeks and wish we could’ve enjoyed this beautiful home even longer! We had the perfect family vacation here! The home was beautiful and even better in person than the photos. My husband and I, our 2 children (3 & 9), and my in-laws were more than comfortable in this home for the week. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. The pool was stunning! The beach was literally just around the corner and we zipped up there every evening for the sunsets. I will say be careful with parking if you rent a golf cart. We got a parking citation for the cart facing against traffic even though it was 100% on the property and not in the roadway at all. Other than that we had no problems at all and we look forward to staying in this home again in the future!

We actually decided to come again because we love this house so much and we saw the only week available was this one. The pool and spa are amazing, house is immaculate and beautiful. This house was everything! Super close location to the beach, the pool and hot tub were perfect and the house was clean and all upgraded! We really enjoyed our stay. The property manager was super quick to respond when we had a slight hiccup but it was fixed within a couple hours! Communication was quick. I would give 6 stars for a mini fridge by the pool area, thats the only thing that would make this place even better, and that’s asking a lot! You won’t regret staying here!

We were a party of 5, 2 adults and 3 teen girls. This was our third year on AMI and the first time to rent a house rather than a condo. The property was everything it was advertised to be. Believe the previous reviews. The only reason we gave the location 4 stars was we personally prefer being on the southern part of the island. We did rent the girls bikes from Beach Bums but all other beach equipment was provided. We all enjoyed the pool and the girls spent one day in the pool and didn’t even go to beach. Communication with the owner was speedy! Do not hesitate to choose this property!

I've stayed at many VRBO properties and this is my first time leaving a review as it was the best rental home I've had so far. The house was spotless clean when we arrived, even more than some hotels and resorts, which is a huge bonus for a vacation during the pandemic. We definitely packed too much for our trip because the house had everything we needed to stay comfortable. The game room on the first floor was a huge hit for my kids. The backyard and pool were beautiful and relaxing and there were days we did not even feel like leaving the house. You can tell the house has been well taken care of by the owner and is well thought out. The owner was a pleasant to work with, helpful and responsive to our questions.

Everything about our first visit to AMI was perfect. The accommodations were top notch. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Having all the things you need for the beach provided is a huge bonus. The pool and spa were incredible. When we weren’t at the beach we were in the pool. The backyard is it’s very own personal private paradise. Andy, the owner was really great as well. He was very communicative and addressed any questions or concerns we had which were very few if any. We plan on returning to AMI again and hopefully we will be able to stay at this home again because it doesn’t get any better than this.

I don't have enough words for how perfect this property is. The locals close to the beach, close to good restaurants and also close to stores to get groceries. The property itself was awesome. The pool next to a covered outdoor area with a TV, allows for swim time but also a nice place to take a break from the sun. The inside was meticulously clean and had a ton of space to cook. Andreas was a great host, he communicated everything yiu would need to know ahead of time. This is by far the best property I have stayed at in Anna Maria and I hope to stay there 9n my next trip.

We booked this property last year, when everything was starting to get locked down due to Covid and we are so glad we picked this property. My wife and I with our two daughters (19 & 16) stay here last week. The property has it all! The layout of the house is perfect, with two patios off the second story living. The kitchen has all high end appliances and plenty of cooking utensils. The pool, hot tub and outside living area is where we spent most of our time, thinking about absolutely nothing except how nice the house is... The beach is super close and not overly crowded. The sunset are amazing! Communication with the owner have been the best I've ever experienced renting Vrbo prosperities. Thank you Andy for our perfect 2021 vacation!

We loved the deck and sturdy deck furniture and spent a lot of time out there working, eating and relaxing. The babies loved the pool - having the large shallow space was wonderful! The location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the beach, and walking distance to local fish market and several restaurants. The house has a wonderful pool and we used the hot tub every night. The games of ping pong, pool and basketball were perfect to keep the teens and adults busy in addition to the beach and home pool. With the restrictions on larger developments on the island the beach is not over crowded and this was the most relaxing beach vacation we have ever taken. The house was very clean and seemed to have everything we needed including outdoor shower and garage powder room to help keep the sand out - everything seemed very thoughtful down to a flash light to help you get from watching the sunset on the beach back to the house. Our only difficulty was that all of the beds had extra firm mattresses which was not ideal for us. With that exception everything else was wonderful but we think that should be addressed to make this house the perfect rental.

If this house has made your shortlist...Stop reading now and book it! This is our 4th different house and AMI and by far our best choice. Convenience to the beach and trolley stops was great. Andy is a fantastic owner, responding to every communication very quickly. It seems that he spared no expense on the creature comforts. All of the furniture, indoor and out, was top quality. The pool area was absolutely perfect! I could literally go on and on about every detail, but I'll just say this; Book it. You'll be glad you did. Amazing house for a family getaway! This property is exactly as pictured. Newly updated, very clean and filled with fun, family-friendly activities. We loved using the pool and spa in the very quiet fenced backyard and the beach was only a two-minute walk. When we arrived there was an issue with the WiFi signal being out. Andy was super responsive and arranged for the utility company to come repair the issue ASAP. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting AMI and looking for a fun, clean, well appointed house for their family getaway.

This house was a perfect beach getaway. However, my kids primarily hung out in the awesome pool/spa backyard most of the time. They also loved the ping pong table in the garage. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, also, it may seem like a small thing, but it was so handy having TVs in all bedrooms. My kids could get ready and not argue over the remote!

We recently stayed at this beautiful beach house. Everything was as advertised and the home was immaculate. Everything in the home was brand new including the furniture. Home was spacious and we all enjoyed the board games, pool table and ping pong table. Property owner was great and answered each of our questions quickly. Home was fully equipped for the beach, had enough towels, chairs and cart. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.
