This home is a unique tropical paradise in Key Largo. Our kids named it Manatee Corner because it sits at the end of the canal and is often visited by friendly manatees. It is a large three-story duplex with a wraparound balcony. It has a canal that leads right out to the Atlantic, minutes from incredible deep-sea and backcountry fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling, or kicking back on one of the many nearby sandbars. It’s centrally located in Key Largo, just minutes from everything. The duplex features two thoughtfully designed private apartments. Each unit offers a master bedroom, a second bedroom, two full bathrooms, a spacious living room, an open dining area with dock views, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each apartment comfortably accommodates up to six guests. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows fill every room with natural light, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living, while a large wraparound balcony provides the perfect setting for relaxing evenings. Guests also enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, fishing gear, and bicycles for exploring the town.
Unique Benefits
Our dock fits two boats between 20–30 feet or one larger boat up to 38 feet, and dock use is included with your stay. There’s plenty of parking for cars and trailers. Kick back on the spacious patio, fire up the BBQ, and share stories from a day full of adventures.
Why Kids Love It
Kids love it here—not just because the place itself is vibrant, but because being with family makes it truly special. We also offer Wi-Fi, streaming TV with Netflix, and a wide variety of other channels. They especially enjoy having their own bedroom, perfect for playing the board games we provide, and featuring a large window with stunning views of the canal and beautiful sunsets.
We’re located in central Key Largo, just about a mile from Overseas Highway Mile Marker 100 on the Atlantic Ocean side, minutes from diving, fishing, snorkeling, glass-bottom boat tours, dive shops, restaurants, and countless other activities—without the noise of the crowds. Must-see experiences include John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, swimming with dolphins at Dolphins Plus, or chartering one of the many available aquatic adventures. In the evenings, a sunset dinner is the perfect way to end the day.
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park offers a week’s worth of activities, from snorkeling and scuba diving to eco-tours and much more. Just a short walk from home, you can swim with dolphins at Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder, a non-profit marine mammal rescue (recommended). For families, Jacob’s Aquatic Park is perfect for kids of all ages, featuring a children’s water area and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Nearby, Pilot House Marina offers private charters for everything from deep-sea fishing to reef snorkeling and is also home to the popular Pilot House and The Key Largo Fisheries restaurants, both just a ten-minute leisurely walk.
Calling Key Largo a great place to eat is a serious understatement. Choosing a single favorite is impossible—there are over 50 restaurants within just five miles. Nearby, you’ll find Eco Eats for cheap and healthy options, the Pilot House and Key Largo Fisheries at the marina down the street, and Bayside Grill and Snooks for unforgettable sunsets. Cafe Largo, Key’s Bites, the Buzzard’s Roost, Doc’s Diner, and Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen all have their own charm and flavors. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg—there’s so much more waiting to be discovered.
A helpful tip is to go online to decide what activity you want to do and compare providers for the best deals—rates can vary for many reasons, and it never hurts to ask for a discount. If you’re heading to a sunset dinner, try to arrive early. Above all, the most important thing is to enjoy your trip—don’t let anything get in the way of that.

Old school Key’s experience
The owner is a nice family guy who keeps the place clean and safe. The location is perfect. Ubers or Lyft show up in two/ three minutes. You can walk to restaurants and pubs. Ocean water access is great boating to restaurants and snorkeling. Came for 3 months and stayed for 6.

Great Place! Awesome Host!!
I have been renting in Key Largo for 10 years The unit I had rented became unavailable. This unit had all items needed and if there was something else I need the owner took care of it right away. The owner responded to all my texts within minutes with any questions or items I needed. The unit was spotless. I had family coming to Key Largo and there was a second room I need. The owners entire family all pitch in help him get the room ready for their arrival. Loved the large outdoor porch with chairs and tables. Ate many meals out side on the porch. Plenty of off street parking. The unit is centrally located in Key Largo and is near many of my favorite restaurants and shopping centers. If you are looking for for a place in Key Largo I highly recommend this unit.

Perfect Place in Key Largo for Boaters
Manatee Corner is a great place to stay in Key Largo with a boat slip easily accommodating a 30 foot boat and room to park your trailer. Mario Medina is an excellent host, very responsive with a charming family if you are lucky enough to meet them during your stay. The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable and includes all the provisions to make this your home away from home. He stopped by with some of the best mangoes I have ever tasted from his tree in Homestead. The canal which serves Pilot House Marina opens to the Atlantic side of Key Largo and is extremely convenient to the John Pennekamp Marine Park reefs. We were able to snorkel 14 sites during our recent stay from our 29 foot Ranger Tug, the Selkie. The place is walking distance to Pilot House Marina as well as Snooks and the Bayside Sunset Bar & Grill for sunset drinks and dining on the Gulf side. The place is 4 miles from the John Pennekamp State Park entrance, with its convenient ramp to drop your boat in as well as other attractions. We loved our stay.

Key Largo Relaxation in Style.
We enjoyed our stay very much. We are 2 retired couples looking to relax in the warm February Key Largo weather. The condo was 100% as promised. All rooms were nice sized and very comfortable. The wraparound porch is where we spent a lot of our time when at the condo. It had a covered patio and barbecue essentials. It was also well located near all the places and restaurants we wanted to visit . I would gladly rent it again, if we have the chance, and it fit into our schedule. The owner is friendly and very attentive. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property to all, young, older and families!
