Step back in time and relax in “Old Florida”.
One of the last remaining historic beach houses on the island. Nothing fancy. The home and carrige house were the family getaway of FD Jackson, a resident of Tampa whoS claim to fame was the inventer Xcel chicken feed . In todays world that would be like inventing Purina puppy choe. Its a simple place, careworn with the patina from weather and 96 years of hosting thousands of beach goers. In the 1969’s my grandparents fell in love with this very special spot called the Narrows, where the boats in the bay are right across the street and the emerald green waters of the Gulf and sugar white sand between you toes is out your front door. Yes, in the esrly days to get to the house you drove on the beach. My grandfather set about making the place 6 apartments fully furnished with kitchens, nice comfortable beds , and fantastic views . Enough stories. Its care worn, but its the true island feeling surround by water and far from crows that keep our guests coming back to unwind. Good memories are made here.
