INSIDE:
This charming cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating spaces. When you enter, light shines through the window in the vaulted ceiling above the fully equipped kitchen with its quartz countertops and new stainless steel appliances. The breakfast bar seats three. The kitchen opens into a living area that’s an ideal spot for watching your favorite tv shows on the cable TV or via high-speed fiber optic Wifi. On the other side of the kitchen is a dining room with its 6-person table, its beverage center, and multiple French doors that merge your indoor with your outdoor living. The two guest bedrooms and their shared bath with walk-in shower form a suite located just off the kitchen. The master bedroom suite with its vaulted ceiling, French doors overlooking the pool, and modern en suite bath with walk-in shower is located off of the dining room.
PARKING:
There is off-street parking for up to three vehicles or a boat trailer and 1or 2 vehicles.
This home is located in mid-town which is close to Smathers Beach, Higgs Beach and White Street Pier. It is also close to the charter fishes boats, restaurants and grocery stores. The Island of Key West is only 2 x 4 miles making it very easy to get around.

This house was truly a private haven. It was so quiet and peaceful but yet so centrally located in the island. Quick golf cart rides to Duval and local shops plus near beaches. The house was very neat and clean with the kitchen well stocked with all the necessities to bake, cook or grill out back. The back pool area is amazing! Such a charming back outdoor space with lots of seating to enjoy the pool in the morning or late night. The beds were very comfortable with newer mattresses and linens. This house is a perfect place for a family to enjoy Key West. There was plenty of parking for the boat and golf cart!

This location is convenient to both the airport (10 minutes literally) and the nightlife of Duvall St. we enjoyed the quiet area it’s located in and the pool is the best part of this home. We noted the fresh paint and careful attention to the outside lanai! Weekly scheduled pool maintenance and most importantly- NO BUGS INSIDE! That’s a huge plus to my wife and I. We rented elsewhere that had a huge infestation issue, before we found this home and boy am I glad we found it!!It’s quite comfortable - 3 bedrooms and enough beds for everyone. It’s worth the rental price. We stayed a month and found Roberta receptive and helpful if any small concerns arose! The owners are worried about about making sure the “presentation” of this home is spot on and you will not be disappointed!I’d give more than 5 stars - but that’s all I’m allowed. If you call Roberta about this property and need a personal recommendation, have her give me a call with your contact info and I’ll call you and sing the praises!We WILL return to 1712 Washington!!

We loved our stay at this private haven. We lived in the backyard on the spacious covered patio and in the pool. We entertained our son, his family, and our grandkids, and the private pool and its little waterfall were a big hit.It was lovely walk to Salute on the beach, and an easy bike ride to Duval, Smathers Beach, the Historic Seaport, wherever.Meanwhile, Sue and I enjoyed the vaulted ceilings throughout, especially in the master bedroom. And the French doors lining the back of the house that open to the private pool made it feel tropical, even indoors.And I loved the big TV for watching baseball in the evenings.There was plenty of off-street parking, even enough room for our jet-ski trailer.And Roberta, the property manager was very helpful, just great!We'll definitely be back!
