Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom pool home with modern furnishings is located in a quiet, safe location just a few short miles from area beaches and is conveniently located near shopping and plenty of local dining spots. Englewood is halfway between Fort Myers and Sarasota in beautiful Charlotte County alongside Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.

You will fall in love with the beautiful sunsets and sounds of the birds calling to each other across the lake in your backyard from the comfort of your spacious screened lanai. Inside the home you will find a modern and spacious space with a large, open dining and living area that overlook the pool. The split floor plan offers a master suite on one end and guest rooms and bath with pool access on the other.
Just across the street is a paved walking and bike trail.
Within 15 minutes you can be at the gorgeous beaches in the area.-see arial view in pics. Choose to go in one direction and be on Boca Grande, go in the opposite direction and you will find the beautiful Manasota Key with its beaches and local dining spots.
For a change of pace or for longer term renters, follow the trail up the road to the Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park and Recreation Center complete with basketball, pickleball, volleyball, playgrounds, swimming and diving pools and so much more for very inexpensive daily fees.

Englewood is a safe community with beautiful homes. You are close to golf courses, beaches, and many parks and nature areas.
Manasota Key has four amazing beaches; Manasota Beach, Blind Pass Beach, Englewood Beach, and Stump Pass Beach. While you're there visit The Waverly for great food and drinks, go parasailing, check out Stump Pass State Park and of course watch for turtles! Bonus points if you catch the sunset here!
Check out Mineral Springs (about 20 minutes) for a special experience at the only natural warm spring in Florida. The 85 degree spring water has the highest mineral content of any natural springs in the US.

About the owner: We are Wisconsinites who moved to Minnesota and have recently fallen in love with Florida. We bought this home in the spring of 2022 with intentions on moving permanently. That process has been delayed so we are opening our home to you as our guests. We are looking for people who will care for it and enjoy it as much as we do!
Why this property? We found Englewood, Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte a bit by accident.
We had originally wanted to live on Fort Myers beach and on one of our trips to look at properties, we found the Punta Gorda airport to be so much more inexpensive. We fell in love first with Punta Gorda and its harbors and Fisherman's Village. We spent a few days on Manasota Key, Boca Grande and in Englewood and decided this was the Florida we had been searching for.
The waters and clean pristine beaches paired with the kind people in this safe community were all we were looking for!

We loved this home and the warm pool. Clean and tidy upon arrival, and we utilized the garage for our car. The kitchen is well stocked for anyone wanting to cook. It is near many beautiful parks and trails which we hiked almost daily, and 10-15mins from several beaches. Kayak and boat rentals nearby as well. We enjoyed many hours walking the beaches, collecting shells, takings photos of wildlife. Then back to the house to enjoy some pool time before the sun went down. Several birds enjoyed the pool area landscaping and backyard pond which was pleasant to watch.

Eileen B.Perfect location with well arranged living area and a beautiful view of the pool and canal.
Located in Englewood the property has easy access to McCall and Placida roads. Two Publix within six to eight minutes away, and more than one "worth a visit" restaurant. Manasota Key is an eight minute drive, and Boca Grande is about 20 minutes away. Both are well worth the drive. The public library is also close enough to visit frequently.

Susan R.Amazing Pool Home
This home was a great place to relax. We spent most of our time in the lanai overlooking their private pool and small lake and swam daily. They had nice padded chairs to relax as well as a large picnic table area. Since half of the lanai was covered/shaded you could choose to relax in the shade or get some sun. We saw many birds and wildlife come and go by the lake. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The master bed was extremely comfortable and all of the towels and bedding were of very good quality. They also included bikes which was a real plus as I pedaled around on the trail that ran across the street and a half mile away the Ann Dever Regional Park had a nature trail that meandered in the woods and waterways. It was sort of hidden gem towards the back of the park. The location of this home was super easy to get to and Walmart and many restaurants were within 1-2 miles away. Another plus was that you could park your car in their garage. The owners were very communicative about the property anytime I had a question and had a property manager that assisted with pool cleaning and any other issues (he even came and changed a flat tire we had on one of the bikes). Overall, this was a great place to relax and I wouldn't hesitate to come back:)

The house was clean and comfortable with a great pool area. The location is a short and easy drive to Englewood Beach and many bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay again in future trips.
