️Important Considerations... let's be sure Lunar Beach Bungalow is the right fit for you and your group:
1. RENTAL AGREEMENT: Must sign agreement & provide ID within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if arrival is within 48 hours). Failure to sign will result in cancelation with applicable cancelation penalties.
2. Riverfront Cocoa Beach facility details:
• Located 2.2 miles from the home.
• Open daily, 10:00 AM–Sunset, weather permitting. No refunds for closures.
• Guests must sign a waiver for use upon arrival.
• Pool is not heated.
• Events, including live music or private events may occur during your visit to facility.
• Pool seating is first-come, first-served.
• Cabanas and canopies available to rent for additional fee, first-come, first-served.
• Kayaks and stand paddle boards (SUP) must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance by contacting the facility.
3. Occupancy: Max 6 persons at the home at any given time, including non-overnight guests. Persons = adults, children & infants.
4. Minimum Age: Primary renter must be 21+(or active military) & an occupant of the Property.
5. Transportation: Vehicle recommended although area is walkable & bikeable.
6. Fencing: Fully fenced yard, but small gaps may allow small or digging dogs to escape.
7. Fire pit: Available year-round but subject to local burn bans.
8. Dynamic Rates: Rates vary by date. Enter exact dates for accurate pricing.
9. Saturday Check-ins/Checkouts: Not available.
10. Pet Policy: DOGS ONLY. NO CATS or any other pets/ reptiles. Well-behaved, potty-trained dogs welcome with non-refundable fee of $25/ night/ dog (if not selected at time of booking, will be requested post booking). Must register in advance. See rental agreement for additional notes re: pet policies, including service animals.
11. Nature and Pests: Expect bugs in Florida. While we take precautions to prevent critters from entering the home, occasional encounters are inevitable.
12. Home Age: Nearly 80-years old and though renovated there are some charming creaks and imperfections unseen in photos.
13. Bicycles: Available for additional fee, must sign separate waiver.
14. Smart Home/Security: Exterior cameras at entry door and driveway (NO interior cameras), noise monitor in hallway (decibels only), and Echo devices in living and bedrooms (can be unplugged).

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip “back home.” Was a year since our move to NC after living in Rockledge/Viera for 60+ years. The Lunar Beach Bungalow exceeded our expectations. Megan was very thorough and quick in responding to all communication! She’s very thoughtful and caring!! The house was super clean, fresh and inviting! Our 3 FL grandsons loved it as well! We felt right at home! Walking distance to the beach was a bonus. My husband photographed a launch and we enjoyed beach time with our grandsons using items provided by our hosts! It was nice not having to travel with beach chairs etc. And the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. Can’t think of anything we needed during our stay that y’all didn’t already have for us upon our arrival. A couple of trips to Publix and we were set for the whole week! Thank you Megan and Southbound Stays for being the perfect hosts! You made our entire experience, from start to finish, so easy!

This house has everything you could imagine Newly remodeled, nice screened in porch to eat in and lounge. Excellent outdoor furniture on the rear patio with a grill, fire pit and lots of outdoor games to keep everyone engaged. Kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need plus a tote with items you might have forgot to bring. Lots of toys/board games/beach toys for the kids. It is a great little house 2 blocks from a nice, quiet section of the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Already have inquired about renting for a whole month next year. Highly recommend

We absolutely LOVE Lunar Beach Bungalow. This is our second time staying there. The improvements were perfect. The beds are so comfy and it is lacking nothing. The extra amenities always go above and beyond our needs. We will be back again next year no doubt!! Megan is the sweetest lady. She left us cupcakes for our birthday celebrations. Beyond the easiest host I've ever worked with on a vacation. Thank you for all you do!!

We have now stayed at several of the Southbound Stays locations and every trip just gets better and better. The Cocoa Beach location truly has anything u could possibly need on top of being the cutest, cleanest house in Cocoa Beach!! Bringing kids? They have so many nice toys, beach toys, games outside...all the things! Going to the beach? They have u covered!! The neighborhood is super cute and very nice, zero loud neighbors, everyone is very friendly. We felt very safe!! And it is sooo close to the best beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores etc. We truly have never stayed anywhere where we felt so taken care of and appreciate every detail they put into their homes. The communication is great!! We NEVER have a complaint, they are truly just the best and we will continue to always rent through them

I was so thrilled to have found this location because it was wildly close to the co-op market, and within waking distance to the Publix grocery store, too! We were there for 3 weeks for my husband's work, and only had one car rented, which he needed to drive to and from where he was working during the day, so I needed to be able to get other places, and this house was perfectly located for that.

Our family enjoyed 3 short nights at Lunar Beach Bungalow after a trip to Universal Studios earlier in the week. Lunar Beach Bungalow was perfect for our short stay. A quick, easy walk to the beach. All beach gear needed is provided. All amenities are top notch from the welcome gift, small snacks, starter coffee and tea. Super comfortable beds and bedding. I loved the beach towels provided. I even checked the name of the beach towels so I could order some for our pool at home. We had one small issue with the kitchen facet that corrected immediately by the hosts. Host has amazing communication and tips for the vacation while we were there. Our family would definitely stay with Southbound Stays again in the future. I'm seeing a girls trip to one of their Nashville properties in my future!

My husband and I stayed at Lunar Beach Bungalow in Cocoa Beach with my sister and my 91 year old father. We found it to be wonderfully appointed with very nice bed linens and extremely comfortable beds. As an allergy sufferer, I greatly appreciated the clean, unscented products that were there. The only scented ones were dish detergents. Other nice touches that I appreciated were the good quality paper products and a nice touch was the salt scrub. Completely unexpected was a snack basket and a little basket of goodies - canvas bag, Koozies, etc. Very thoughtful. The screened porch was fabulous and the lounge chairs at the back of the house were great for sitting in the sun.As travelers with a senior, the one thing we would have appreciated were grab bars in the shower.Great stay and we would definitely return if in the area.

My son, my dog and I stayed at the Lunar Beach Bungalow for a little over a week. My husband and other son joined us for the weekend. We had the most incredible and relaxing trip. All of the extras that this home offers are incredible and were truly appreciated. They thought of everything to make the trip stress-free. We spent quite a bit of time at the house because I had to work, but I was able to work outside in the screened-in patio, enjoying the fresh air and soaking up the warmth. The area was so much fun to explore at night and on the weekend. The beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walking the dog. We drove over to the dog beach several times and fully enjoyed that as well. I already can’t wait to get back there for my next trip!!!

Lunar Beach Bungalow was the perfect retreat for our young family! Parents know that vacations are often more work than they are worth when traveling with little ones, but this beach house was the perfect fit for our family. The hosts thought of everything parents may need on vacation so you don't have to! From the beach wagons to the umbrellas and the sand toys, it has everything you need so all you have to pack is your swimsuit:) The best part is, it was walking distance to the beach without crossing any major roads. We could easily walk back for the kids' nap and then head back for an evening picnic! We were also able to enjoy a fun putt putt course, which was right across the street, and explore Ron Jon Surf Shop just around the corner! We can't wait to come back and explore more.Thank you, Megan and Richard, for thinking of everything! Our family was able to enjoy a true vacation this time without the hassle of lugging high chairs and toys. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!
