About the owner: I live in Michigan with my wife and two beautiful kids. We started owning and renting vacation homes in tropical Emerald Island Resort in Kissimmee Florida in 2007. We enjoy visiting the many attractions in Florida while staying in our vacation homes. When I am not busy, I enjoy cooking and doing BBQ.
Why we chose Emerald Island Resort in Kissimmee: We stayed in hotels and vacation homes before we bought our first vacation home. During that time we rented homes that were marketed as 'Minutes from Disney" only to learn that it could mean as much as 59 minutes! So, when we started looking to buy our first vacation home in Disney World area, our first criteria was that it must be "within 5 minutes to Disney". We found our charming 3 bed townhome now called "Mickey's Magic" in Emerald Island Resort which is less than 3 miles to Disney. We actually drove to confirm that it takes less than 5 minutes to Disney before we bought the house. Over the years we bought additional properties in the same community.
It gives me great pleasure to accurately represent our homes and interacting and providing useful information to guests. Many guests are surprised as to how quickly I tend to respond to their queries, and I jokingly tell them that you will get the same quick responses from me unless I am dead or dying :-) Another key aspect of my philosophy is to refund the guest's damage deposit within 48 hours of departure. Some guests got their deposits even before they reached home.

Why this property? Our villas are located within 5 minutes (3 miles) to Disney World. All our rentals have a south-facing pool. We provide free BBQ grill which is usually charged at $75/week by others.
Lilo's Magic villa also has a nice south-facing pool. Not to mention the game-room with pool table.

Our family of 10 spent a week at this awesome house..Lots of room for all of us was well was very clean ..heated pool was the hit ..Rails at spa and pool steps would have been nice as I am waiting hip surgery but I managed ...kiddies were never bored if us adults wanted a few hours relaxing time..very close to all the parks we went to ..We will return to this house

we were a family of 10 staying in this beautiful house was well equipt with everything we needed room was a big hit ..The heated pool was sure a big catcher the 4 children loved it so did the adults.. Well maintained house very clean lots of room for all of us ..We will return to this house maybe next year if it is not booked on our time . We had a great time and within 1 hour from everything we wanted to see

It was a pleasure renting this house in Emerald Island Resort, Florida. It was exactly what posted on the website and surpassed our expectations once we got there. The house was very spacious, clean, had a pool and had utensils in the kitchen so that we felt right at home. It was easy getting to the other attractions from the resort as well. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends if they decide to go Florida for a vacation.
