This historic train house is unlike anything else in the world. The 2 trains are joined by a manmade middle section that has the hallway and bathrooms in it. One train has the 3 bedrooms and the other has the Family Room, Dining area and Kitchen. These trains have been completely restored from being hidden under drywall for the last 80+ years by my best guess. Other amenities include: WiFi, 2-streaming TVS, 2 hutches that have a foldout desk top. fire ring, charcoal grill, washer /dryer, fully stocked kitchen, linens, croquet, putting green, and cornhole. Beautifully landscaped 1/2 acre yard, very private and fenced in. Plenty of parking. I provide beach chairs and a beach umbrella. You are 3.9 miles to the Flagler Ave. beach ramp or an 8 min. drive. Close to shopping and restaurants like the great Garlic (my favorite).
Unique Benefits
The whole place is unique because there is nothing else like it anywhere! New Smyrna has the best restaurants and bars period. If you have never done their Wine Walk you are missing out. Tons of festivals all the time. Great atmosphere.
Why Kids Love It
There are tons of things to do here. You can rent bikes, paddleboards, surf boards, take boat rides, go deep sea fishing or just go to the beach.
Area Information
New Smyrna Beach is the coolest beach anywhere, full stop! I call it Little Nashville because there is so much live music every night withing walking distance from one place to another. You can start at Caseys, then go to Flagler Ave. where you will hear live music at Peanuts, Flagler Tavern, Traders, Tayton O'Brians and Beachside. Next is the food, the restaurants here are phenomenal. Best Mexican is La Terraza, best Italian is The Garlic, best deli is Manzanos, best Seafood is Off the Hook Raw bar etc.
Favorite Places To Eat
The Garlic, Flagler Tavern, Breakers, La Terraza (above Caseys), Ocean Breeze, Garden Fusion for Thai, Off the Hook Raw Bar.
Inside Scoop
Caseys is a small dive bar that has great live music every day. Toni and Jo's is great place for Happy Hour and it is on the beach.

Great Space woo woo
I just spent the month of February staying in the train house. It is such a cool space that had everything I needed for a long extended stay. The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood so close to the coast and all the shops and restaurants. This unique house has historic charm and new world amenities. It was nice to come home from the beach or a rocket launch and enjoy a nice hot shower outside. Yes there was a beautiful shower inside as well!. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. The owners are very cool and it shows in their careful restoration and modernization of this unique property.

Worked out great!
Myself and two colleagues were in the area for business from out of state. We chose the Train House as a change of pace from the typical hotel fare. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean. The beds were comfortable and the overall vibe was great. Everything we needed for cooking, dining, etc was available at the house. Some great restaurants and bars were a short distance away. I would recommend it highly.

Perfect Accommodations!
This was everything we needed for our quick anniversary trip. As former locals of the area, we were super pleased with the location. The house is on a very low-traffic backroad, fenced in, very private and safe. Learning about the history of the Train House was so fun, too! We loved the before-and-after shots of the various rooms.10/10 would stay here again!

The pictures don’t do it justice!
This train house was tucked into an average neighborhood and felt like a private vacation paradise. It is so darn cute! The details are everywhere you look. The owner has little framed bits of story detailing the generational history of the place. The kitchen was adorable, the bathroom lovely. The beds slept great! I can’t wait to go again.

A once in a liftime experience!
We were really looking forward to our stay, but when we walked through the front door we were truly blown away! The pics on the website are one thing, but they can't replace being there inside history. Even my hard-to-impress teenagers were excited. We played a scavenger hunt as we searched for one historic item or artifact after another. We went to the nearby beach (AWESOME!) every day and spent nights grilling on the huge deck. The week flew by. Can't wait to come back next summer!
