This is an active Senior Community for residents. Casa Verde is a fully-furnished designer home, Tamarind Plan, new in 2021. Relax on the large lanai and look at the landscaping instead of at someone else's backyard! Enjoy watching the multi-colored golf carts going by on the path beyond the hedges. These plant barriers are on both sides and grasses along the fence provide added privacy. The lanai contains a daybed for lounging and a dining table with four chairs.
You will be just a short 7-minute cart ride from the St. Catherine Recreation Center, which includes an outdoor heated pool and postal center. Electric golf cart comes with monthly rentals. Within a 2-minute cart ride is Ezell Recreation Center providing indoor and outdoor workout facilities, an Olympic outdoor pool, tennis, pickleball, and several other activities each day of the week. We provide folding chairs to enjoy Edna's on the Green and beach chairs if you decide to make a day trip to the Gulf or Atlantic. While you are at Edna's you can take a walk and/or do a round of golf at Cattail Recreation Area and Marsh View Pitch and Putt. Enjoy the healthy environment at Casa Verde. We upgraded to all tile floors and no-VOC paint. Most of the linens are organic, and we use natural cleaners to sanitize between guests. There is a whole-house filtration system and reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink. Both showers have additional filters to remove chlorine from the water.
In the open living area, watch the 55-inch curved screen TV and feel like you are in action with the paired soundbar and subwoofer. A second TV is in the guest bedroom, and both TVs connect through high-speed internet. Bring your own Netflix, Prime, and Vudu accounts.
The well-stocked, large kitchen gets daylighting from a solar tube and includes a pantry, gas range, stainless steel cookware, and a variety of utensils. Bedrooms include Master with King, Guest with Queen, and Third BR with pull-out twin. The Master has a large walk-in closet, and the bath has an all-tile shower; the Guest bath has a tub with shower and tiled walls. The inside laundry has a large-capacity washer and a gas dryer. We provide unscented laundry detergent, hand soaps, and eco dishwasher gel or granules with white vinegar.
Amenities, utilities, internet TV, high-speed internet, trash, and lawn service are included in the listed prices. No phone landline or cable TV. We provide Youtube TV, bring your own Netflix and Prime Video accounts.
The electric golf cart is a 2019 model with a long-lasting lithium battery. Travel 50 miles or more on a single charge with the confidence of Roadside Assistance. Charges in less than a half hour.

Unique Benefits

We fell in love with this location because of its proximity to Sawgrass Grove and Ezell Recreation area. Also, there are separate walking trails from the home that goes around two ponds, and bike paths (non-golf-cart paths) are designated for just walking/jogging and biking. We like the openness of looking out the lanai and seeing the birds, sunrises to the east, and the various golf carts.
A $50.00 fee paid that you pay directly to the Villages provides access for two people to Executive Golf courses, swimming pools, and Recreation Centers. Your guests do not pay the fee, just sign them up. See info about amenities.
