Our oceanfront condo is our personal getaway and we are happy to offer it to you when we are not using it. We have furnished and equipped it to be comfortable and appealing. We are on the 3rd floor of the 52-unit condominium complex, that is meticulously maintained. Our balcony faces the Atlantic Ocean and overlooks a no-drive portion of Daytona Beach. The balcony can be accessed from the living room and master bedroom, and you will enjoy magnificent sunrises.

BUILDING: Secure bldg, access with door code, and all guests must register with the office. There are 2 elevators, and with only 10 floors, you will never have to wait long. Large heated pool and deck with plenty of chairs. Two gas grill areas. Pickleball and tennis court. Gym (looks out to the ocean), Library (books, puzzles, games) and Community Room.

GARAGE: You have the best spot in the garage! There are luggage and grocery carts to take your belongings or groceries into the condo. We provide a garage door opener for your use.

OUR UNIT: Keypad access to enter with your own unique code. Large balcony that spans across the Atlantic side of the condo where you can see the sunrise, and a West breezeway area to watch the sun set across the river. We have high-speed Internet with over 200 Mbps of service. Spectrum cable TV package with the Select, Silver, Gold, and Sports packages, so you won't miss any of your favorite shows. Ceiling fans throughout.

LIVING ROOM: Reclining sofa, loveseat and recliner, 65” Roku TV.

KITCHEN AND DINING AREA: Stainless appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. Toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, mixer, crock pot, and all the dishes, glassware, utensils and pans you will need.

MASTER BEDROOM EN SUITE: King Size TempurPedic mattress, dresser, chest, 26" TV, desk, monitor, and printer. Bath is tub/shower, hairdryer, first aid and common medication items in the medicine cabinet. Plenty of drawer space and hangers. Bathroom is roomy, with a dressing area and closet.

GUEST BEDROOM AND BATHROOM: 2 Full-size beds, closet with hangers and organizer. Bathroom has walk-in shower. Bookcases contain games, cards, puzzles.

LAUNDRY ROOM: Private - Full-size washer and dryer, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, bag chairs (in garage), beach umbrella, sand toys and fishing pole anchors.

EXTRAS: In the refrigerator, you will find condiments for your use. The pantry contains stable items sugar, flour, rice, etc. There is a selection of spices and coffee. Cleaning products and a floor vacuum are provided. Personal shampoos, soaps, paper goods, kitchen detergents, laundry soap, etc., are supplied. There are plenty of bath towels and beach towels. An iron and ironing board in the condo.

LOCATION: We are 6 miles from Daytona Beach International Airport.

Area Information

The beach and ocean lend itself to many activities: fishing, surfing, shelling, walking on the beach. There is an abundance of wildlife in this area and bird watching from the balcony is fun. The complex offers a court for tennis and pickle ball, along with an on-site gym. In the area, you will find other attractions such as golf, hiking, cycling, and two large pickle ball complexes, Daytona International Speedway, LPGA headquarters, horseback riding, miniature golf, museums and much more. We watch Rocket Launches from our balcony as we are near Cape Canaveral. The area is filled with restaurants that overlook the water and offer fresh seafood. Tanager Outlet mall and many recognizable retail stores are in the area. Orlando is hour or so from Daytona Beach where you will find Disney World, Universal Studios, and other attractions.

POLICIES:

A $750 damages deposit must be received within 7 days of booking to hold your reservation. If will be refunded within 10 days of departure, assuming there are no damages to the condo. One-half of the rent is due 90 days prior to arrival. The remainder of the rent, along with a $200 cleaning fee, and all taxes are due 30 days prior to arrival. We will ask that you sign a lease and we are happy to provide you a copy of the lease prior to making a commitment to rent. Forms of payment: Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, or personal check (if 30 days in advance).

About the owner: We are a retired couple living in the Villages, Florida, and enjoying our beach condo. We are happy to rent it to others that love the ocean and beach, because we understand it is a special delight to wake up to the ocean every morning.

We retired to Florida in 2019 from Dayton, Ohio, where we raised our two children. Bill retired from the field of finance and Kim as an educator and librarian.

Why this property? Because it’s right on the ocean! A no-drive portion of the beach makes it safe for walking and very pleasant. We love Blue Surf condos because it is a smaller building and all the units face the ocean. Also, the complex requires a 30-day minimum rental period, so we tend to get a lot of repeat guests.
