Spring Break 2024

This home was perfect for us. We had 5 people and fit nicely in the home. The home was clean, well maintained and, well furnished. We enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. It is also walking distance to town and right down the road from Weber's Donuts. The beach is also an easy walk. Would highly recommend this property and the owner was great to work with!

Perfect location!

This home is in the perfect location. The owner Ashley has thought of everything the home is beautifully decorated. Every little detail has been thought out . The location is just a short walk to the boardwalk . You are so close to everything downtown. Everything is perfect. I recommend staying here is a perfect house. Ashley is quick to answer any questions that you have . You won’t regret it. We plan on returning again. Thanks so much for everything!

Amazing beach HOME convenient to everything!

We booked this beautiful home as a last minute getaway and could not be happier. Ashley was amazing to deal with and her home has everything you need for a good time. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot-tub and my son enjoyed playing the Wii, games and puzzles during the rainy day we had. We went on a few walks and were sure to stop by the little donut shop up the street on our way out! We will definitely be back!

Lovely winter getaway

Our family with two children and a fur baby spent January at Island Bliss, and it was…well, blissful! The home is nicely decorated and well-equipped. Our favorite parts were the upstairs screened porch and the living room, both of which fit the five of us perfectly. Both porches have a gulf view, and the public boardwalk to the beach is just across the street. The lighthouse and new playground are also within walking distance, as is Weber’s Little Donut shop and the Blue Parrot. The location is great if you like being able to park the car and walk or bike to just about everything, in fact. Our girls and dog enjoyed the backyard, and it was nice to have a place to keep their bikes when we weren’t using them. The backyard is well-furnished as well, with a hot tub, firepit, comfy furniture, a hammock and grill. This is a lovely, little home-away-from-home at our favorite vacation spot, St. George Island!

Island Bliss is a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and updated. The location is perfect! You can walk to several restaurants. Ashley was great to work with and replied to messages right way. The hot tub was an added bonus and best of all it's pet friendly. I highly recommend Island Bliss! :)

Wonderful play to stay!

Blessed to spend February 2023 at Island Bliss. All is just as it says. It is a cute and beachy decor. Walking distance to the beach (just across the street), to restaurants, the lighthouse, Weber donuts, the ice cream shop and to purchase fresh seafood! It is also clean as can be and the beds and sheets are super comfy. Ashley the owner is a jewel to work with and we so appreciated having our small dogs with us. Will stay again for sure! Already booked for next January.

Excellent house and easy beach access

Hubby and I spent January in this super nice little house. We were quite pleased with the furnishings and the amenities provided by our host Ashley. We spent a lot of time on the comfy chairs on the porch checking out the ocean from the upstairs view. Beach access was easy and just across the street. We were within walking distance to restaurants and of course doughnuts if arising early enough! I was able to ride my bike a couple of blocks to the Piggly Wiggly for supplies. Altogether a very pleasant stay. Our host was easy to work with and Island Bliss is a perfect description for this get away.

Great Vacation Spot

This was our first trip to SGI (we can use the initials now) and it was great. The home was a great accommodation for the four of us and our two miniature dachshunds as well. We could see the gulf from the home and was just a short walk to the beach. The Blue Parrot was just down the road and was a great place to eat. All the people we met were friendly and willing to help us with any informational needs (like a good places to eat). SGI is a great location to view both sunsets and sunrises! We would definitely come back to any of Ashley's rentals.

Beautiful home in perfect location!

Island Bliss was just blissfully perfect! We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Ashley is a great host and make sure we have everything we needed and even gave suggestions on where to eat and what to do. The house is in a perfect location- quick all to beach and walkable to restaurants and bars. We can't wait to go back!

Great house and location

This was our first visit to SGI and we loved it! This house was perfect for our family of 6. The location to the beach was perfect, we were within yeast walking distance to Weber’s doughnuts, Bayside coffee and several other restaurants. Ashley the host, was very organized with my booking sending emails as check in time got closer, check out email towards the end of my stay and answered several text I had sent with questions. She was so pleasant and welcoming! The small amenities helped a lot! The house had a crockpot (which I loved), hot tub in the back yard, 4 nice beach chairs, beach towels and many other little touches that made our stay perfect! I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house over and over!

Island Bliss lived up to its name

Island Bliss had everything we were looking for in our St George vacation - location close to the beach and in center of town, comfortable beds, washer /dryer and a nicely appointed kitchen. We loved the balconies! Would definitely stay again.

A New Favorite

We had never been to St. George Island before, ready for it all A great mix of old quaint Florida of yesteryear. The wonderful dirt roads and community atmosphere welcoming all. We didn’t know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. I was expecting some place that was small and cramped. But, we saw a very stylish and well decorated home. Pictures, books, games and a well equipped modern kitchen. Roomy and comfy. We can’t wait to return.
