800 sq. ft. Whispering Pines of Cape San Blas is two private cottages spread over eight acres of beautiful, heavily forested Florida lowlands along the banks of Florida's pristine St. Joseph Bay, famous for its fishing and scalloping. This peninsula of sugar white sand juts out into the Gulf of Mexico, and is the home of St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, one of Florida's finest.
Each cottage accommodates up to four people and includes 2 bedrooms, two queen beds, one bath, large screen porch, fully equipped kitchen including cookware and flatware, full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, microwave oven, central heat and air, color television, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and a charcoal grill.
In addition to the many county and state parks in the area, we also have private pedestrian access to the Gulf Beaches across the street.

Relax and enjoy the seclusion of a heavily wooded property in our roomy and comfortable cottage, with access to the bay and gulf. Wade fishing in the Bay is excellent and redfish, trout, and flounder are plentiful from early spring through early winter.
Why Kids Love It
The Bay is shallow here with a sandy bottom. Very safe for kids and dogs alike. Paddle boarding and kayaking are very popular in this part of the bay. There are several places nearby that offer rentals of paddle boards, kayaks and bicycles. The Cape has a wide bike path that runs on our side of the road from highway C-30 all the way to St Joseph State Park.

If you are looking for a secluded, quiet but close to the beach and shopping, you cannot go wrong with this cottage. Price was much cheaper than anything else we saw. Large living room and kitchen with large bedrooms with plenty of storage. Sue and Dave, the owners, were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They live on the property as well and when we had an issue with the TV, they came over immediately. And once they showed me how to work it, there was nothing wrong with the TV, just the operator. I highly recommend this hidden gem when looking for a pet friendly and close to everything cottage.

What a wonderful place to stay. The cabin is spacious, peaceful and quiet. The grass path to the bay is a great walk for people and pets alike. You can walk to the beach or drive down the road to another entrance. You can bring your fur babies any size with you. We had been searching a long time to find a place like this to stay.

It was as shown. Our dog was comfortable. We relaxed and found nearby beaches with white sugar- like sand. Area was Pet friendly. We ate outside at two restaurants so dog could be with us. Behind the house WAS a path to intercoastal that Evie and I walked every day.

We stayed in Cabin #1 last week and enjoyed our stay. The grounds are peaceful and private. Walked out dog in the morning and drove up the street to the public beach every day. You can walk across the street and use the neighborhood beach access, but with my husbands knee replacement it was easier for us to just drive up the street. All we needed for a last minute planned vacation for me, my husband, and our little dog. Nice property, and the owners were super friendly. We had a great time! We will book again! Thank you!

Me & my Love are extremely happy & impressed with how easy to book our vacations.. not to mention this precious cabin sits on a stuck away tropical scenery all around the cabin.. extremely private quiet.. very very clean all the cooking amenities for cooking grill for your convenience.. Very close to many fine restaurants to enjoy. Very easy access to the Beach. Large screen in porch with that calming tropical relaxing environment.We have booked all summer.. we wouldn’t go to another rental at all. We love it here. Thank you Ms Sue!!

Host was very accommodating throughout our stay. Big screened in porch was a huge plus. Extraordinarily clean for a "dog friendly" rental. Everything you nee, and nothing you don't. Would definitely recommend.

Love this place. Been coming to CSB staying at WP for 15+ years. Newly renovated cabins are nice, walk to Bay is always a bonus. Owners Dave & Sue are laid back, easy to work with, and some of the best you will meet.

No, sorry we do not have washing machines or dryers. But there is a laundromat in Port St Joe.
No, sorry there is not a dishwasher in the cottage.
