1195 sq. ft. This luxurious home overlooking Cudjoe Bay on the Atlantic Ocean is part of Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with 11 total homes. This is #111 and I also rent 109 and 107 in case you need more than one. We are 40 feet from the water's edge facing Southwest. Lounge in your private hammock or enjoy the gorgeous tropical landscaping and cool breezes from the balconies or poolside. Key West is 17 miles away. Your 25’ boat may also dock here.
The $250 cleaning fee is not collected with your reservation but is required. You are asked to leave it inside the home upon departure for the housekeeper. To be clear, this $250 is in addition to the other rental costs and taxes that are collected from you upon booking.

This is a stand-alone home just for you with breathtaking southwest views of the blue-green ocean and sunsets, private bbq and outdoor seating/dining.
Your boat, up to 25 feet, can be kept at the dock for your entire stay in the calm waters directly behind the house. I pay for you to store your trailer off-site.
The common areas of the community are under surveillance by security cameras. These cameras cover the dock space, pool, beach, driveway, front gate, and sections of the carports. There are no cameras within the homes, and the cameras are not monitored in real time. They are used exclusively for reviewing incidents after they occur.
While there are hourly buses to Key West to South and Marathon Key to North, a car is highly recommended.
Looe Key and American Shoal Reef can be seen from the house where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving reefs in the keys along with excellent fishing. Fish or kayak right off the dock or you can venture out to experience the history and action in Key West located only 17 miles away. In the immediate area you’ll find several very good fine dining and casual restaurants, grocery, liquor store, and Cudjoe Garden’s Marina, a full-service marina offering boat rentals. The only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located 15 minutes away. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions 30 to 60 minutes away.

JimWe are frequent visitors to this community and we always enjoy our time at #111. This home is clean, well supplied with everything we needed and offers outstanding views. The pool and outside amenities are a real bonus. The central location of this home also allows for easy trips to various surrounding Keys. We are already looking forward to a return visit!

TrudyDespite a string of cooler than normal days, we enjoyed our time on Cudjoe. The home was sparkling clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we didn't do much cooking this trip. We loved spending time on our main lanai just looking at the water, sunrises/sunsets and the stars at night. It's nice to have the lower patio to enjoy if the sun gets too strong. It's an easy drive to activities in Key West or Marathon. My husband really enjoyed the kayaks, and the pool is right next to the unit. There are very good restaurants nearby, most notably Broil and Square Grouper/My New Joint. This was our second stay in this complex, and we really enjoy it. The only thing I would caution is that there are a lot of stairs. If that is a problem due to physical limitations, this would not be ideal. We look forward to returning in the future!

We stayed over Thanksgiving and were completely comfortable cooking our Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen! We also brought our 25 foot boat and had no problems launching at Cudjoe Gardens Marina as well as storing our trailer there. We had plenty of space to doc our boat and there were a few other boats there all week. John was so communicative and helpful and provided clear instructions for everything. We loved our vacay and will definitely come back here when we come back to this area!

NoelWe loved this place. It was a great place to bring our growing family. Drinking wine on the MBR deck in the evening looking out over the water. Great food and activities in either direction. Key West just a short drive away. It was a great get away. The only "downside" if you want to call it that, was the water just off the pier/dock was very shallow and a lot of seagrass. Once you got out a little ways on the kayaks the water was waste deep and made for some good snorkeling. If you can find the little artificial reef made of ciderblocks and not sure what else there were a lot of fish and a LOT of spiny lobsters. Apparently August starts lobster season.... missed it by that much! I would definitely go back and since the host has 2 or 3 units we might try to bring more family next year.

SylviaThis home was very clean upon arrival and fully stocked with anything you can think of! Very prepared for guests of any age group. We traveled with our 4 kids ages 11 and under and had something for everyone. Beach sand to make sand castles, pool that is nice and warm and a dock to catch fish. Located very conveniently to grocery stores and restaurants. Communication was wonderful and quick with the owners. We will be back!

JenGreat house- clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Beautiful views-early risers get a great view of the moon from bedroom deck. Sunsets- yes! John provides kayaks- easy and fun to see turtles pop up and fish swim by. Bikes are provided but nowhere to really ride- roads aren’t bike friendly unless you take them somewhere. Nice dock to hang out on- fishing from dock- ehh- not great but kemp bridge 2 miles away is pretty good- snappers, grunts. Enjoyed the pelicans, geckos, and even watched an iguana stroll by. Bahia Honda state park- 20 min drive- beautiful park with beaches, trails, marina. Overall wonderful, relaxing week!

MartinGreat getaway with amazing views. Host was quick to respond and place was very clean and tidy. As a frequent visitor to the Keys (and specifically Cudjoe key) great location to stay as getaway. We wish the place had a dumb waiter to lift up luggage (a lot of stairs) and it would be nice if property was golf cart friendly, but due to location off the highway it is not recommended. Once again, I would highly recommend property to anyone as the views are excellent and house is very cozy and comfortable. Super close to great restaurant like Square Grouper and only 20 mile drive to Key West.

ElizabethWe adored our stay at Sunrise Resort. I chose very carefully and had both a. Sunrise and sunset view from our deck! It was a well appointed space with everything you need inside!! Loved the “master” bedroom bedside plug in devices. That was a nice touch! The pool is adorable and really a fun size. Fishing was pretty good and the teens could just walk downstairs and fish or kayak or snorkel or paddle board for hours!! The downstairs bait fridge is genius and loved the covered seating area below the house. The rocker was so comfy! Key west was only a short drive and much more enjoyable because of that short trip!! All in all I chose an amazing place to stay in Cudjoe Key!

Robert Licciardello and F.John is a great person to rent from and his place is always perfect for our annual Mini Season vacations. Everything is always in working order and he is very responsive when needed. My family and friends really appreciate his rentals and Cudjoe is in the prime location! Complete with Boat access, Marina and ramp just down the road and John will recommend trailer storage ect.. Close to KW and other great Keys, shops and restaurants. Only bad thing is you will not want to leave!

RamonaThis place was perfect for 2 couples of empty nesters. The #111 condo is the best on the property in my opinion due to the beautiful unobstructed views. It’s also close to some great restaurants in the area. We had a very great time here. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone wanting to visit the Florida Keys.
