Why Kids Love It

My husband and I recently (March '25) spent ten days in two of Rich and Charlotte's condos at Sunset Vistas, 606S (8 days) and 605S (2 days) due to calendar (non)availability for ten days. The building and amenities were extremely clean and the condo was comfortable having absolutely everything the two of us, or a family, would need for a beach vacation! Along with the expected amenities a condo should possess, it also had beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, toys, cooler, even a booster seat and pack and play for infants! The full-size appliances were new/up to date; refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, washer & dryer. Very convenient for a lengthy stay. The location is directly on a beautiful, wide beach, and although sunset is not visible directly from the balcony of these two condos, you are steps away from the beach for viewing every night, which we enjoyed, with wine! Yes, the wine glasses are there too! Sunrise is viewable. Along with two pools (one kiddie) and hot tubs in each area, it also had a charcoal grill and bike rentals on site for $12/hr. Also convenient, the one-mile Treasure Island Beach Trail entrance is within one block of Sunset Vistas, and extends south to the Bilmar Beach Resort/Sloppy Joe's on the Beach. There are many great restaurants within five miles, which we enjoyed, or even just a short distance in the neighborhood. PIE airport is appx. 30 min, as is Clearwater, both easy commutes. We loved exploring and dining in Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, (the best Mardi Gras festival!) St. Pete's Salvador Dali Museum, Pass-A-Grill, and took in a Phillies game. I must also add that Rick & Charlotte were VERY accomodating and arranged for the wonderful cleaning staff, Rhonda & Hazel, to get our two-day condo (605S) ready for a 10:00 AM move right in for us so we didn't need to store our possessions in our car until a 4:00 PM check in during a transition. We really appreciated that! We look forward to another trip south in the future!

My husband and I recently spent ten days at Sunset Vista Suites in a penthouse condo (6th floor). We found the building complex itself to be very accommodating SV has an onsite cafe for dine in or take out for breakfast and sandwich options, as well as alcoholic beverages, and a two floor covered patio area. It also has separate areas for main pool and kiddie pool, both with hot tubs. Bike rentals onsite for $12/hr. Convenient to use for the block away Treasure Island Beach Trail, if you’re not walking the one-mile path. Each suite is either ocean view or front. The condo had everything we needed to prepare our purchased food if we ate in, as well as staples to last a few days, soaps, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. It also had everything needed for the beach, towels, chairs, umbrella, toys, cooler. Even a pack and play for a child! The condo was extremely clean and had modern appliances, dish-ware, glasses, pots & pans, cutlery, toaster, two coffee makers. We loved that it had two full bathrooms to accommodate the two bedrooms, king and queen. There was a sleeper sofa, if needed. However, we found it to be not very comfortable for sitting. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck, which can be accessed by sliding glass doors from both living room and master bedroom. TV’s were equipped with many streaming services. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in condos 606S & 605S, both owned by the same person. Due to unavailability for ten days, we needed to move to second condo, and owner and cleaning staff were very accommodating for us to make the transition timely. Much appreciated!

Everything you need is at Rick and Charlotte's condo. Easy communication with the owners was a plus. A Pack-n-Play and high chair were available for our use. The views from the top floor of this property are stunning. The pools and hot tub are resort style and the Gulf of Mexico is your backyard. Comfy beds and new appliances made our stay even more enjoyable. The condo was spotless when we arrived. We're looking forward to returning ASAP, thank you!

My husband and I stayed in condo 606S last week. Rick’s detailed information was very helpful-from directions to the reserved parking spot to the dinner recommendations. The parking spot is very close to the middle elevator and the condo is just 2 doors from the elevator on the top floor. They also have open air stairs on either side of the building. We didn’t use the pool but the beach was fantastic! It was right off the boardwalk. We rented 2 chairs & umbrellas for $20/day twice. Rick’s condo has 4-5 low beach chairs, a beach umbrella & lots of beach toys for kids. John’s Pass is less than a mile from the condo & it has restaurants, shops & jet ski rentals as well as boat rentals & cruises. In the opposite direction from John’s Pass there are several restaurants that are also less than a mile away. I recommend Middle Grounds Grill & BRGR (restaurant inside Treasure Island Beach Resort). There is a mile long wide paved path just past the Residence Inn Marriott (next door to Sunset Vista) that is parallel to the beach with ocean views so we used this walkway to get to restaurants. Also, if you follow this walkway to the end Publix is visible on the left so you can also walk to the grocery store. The Shake Shop is next door & they have lots of ice cream & shake options. The balcony had 2 chairs & a small side table & a view of the left side of the beach but no view of the sunset. The condo was clean, well stocked & the bed in primary bedroom was super comfortable! The closets in the bedrooms are small & there was no dresser in the primary bedroom to store folding clothes so we used the dresser in the 2nd bedroom. We had a minor issue with the AC & called Rick & he walked me through the process of quickly resolving. Overall this condo is in a great location, in good shape & we would definitely rent again.

We stayed at the Sunset Vistas Resort in August of 2021. It was such a beautiful resort. Rick & Charlotte did a wonderful job making sure our stay was wonderful. We had all the essentials to get us started. The view was absolutely breathtaking of the gulf. The pool, cafe, & pool bar was amazing. Everything was so close to the resort, just a short drive to everything. Would definitely recommend staying at this resort.

We certainly enjoined our stay at this lovely condo. It has a great view off of the balcony (as well as from the master bedroom). There are plenty of places close by to eat as well as an accommodating kitchen to cook a large meal. I loved that the condo had a washer and dryer- so convenient! Renting the condo was very easy and the communication with the owner was excellent. 5 stars for sure on this rental!

Wish I could give 10 stars! We stayed in March 2020 and this place is absolutely amazing! The views are gorgeous, the condo is spotless, the beds are sooo comfortable, and Rick was really easy to work with. We were literally able to drive to the condo, park, and relax the entire time in paradise! We will definitely call Rick to rent again. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Top floor condo, awesome accommodations, comfy beds, amazing view of the ocean and TI! The owners are GREAT to book with & answer questions. The condo & the owners are a gem to Treasure Island!! Our family of 4 experienced a wonderful, relaxing vacation after Christmas & during the new year. We would def stay here again!! TI is a short drive between St Pete & Clearwater beaches. Perfect, quiet, family oriented vacation spot.

This condo was in a great location with a heated pool and Jacuzzi. It was very clean and kitchen was fully stocked. This is within walking distance from John's Pass. Would definitely rent from this owner again. He kept in touch with codes and information and was available if we needed him. Had a great time!
