About the host: I am a licensed Realtor in the state of Ohio. I have raised three children, that are now all college students. I have one grandchild, 5 grand dogs, 2 cats and a very patient, loving husband. We work extremely hard and when we can muster time off our favorite place to go is in Islamorada. I am originally from New Jersey and grew up on the shore. I have been fishing the Atlantic since I was five years old and some day will retire and fish everyday. Any day on the water is a good day to me. I put a lot of love and care into remodeling this condo and my hope is that everyone enjoys and appreciates it as much as we do. Why this property? I immediately fell in love with Islamorada. Most specifically this place. It is very peaceful, beautiful, and we have a very long pier that extends over the ocean. Morning coffee sitting on the bench watching the sun come up, listening to the sound of the waves and flock of seagulls. The pool is heated and overlooks the ocean which every sunny day makes the pool even bluer than the skies. An elevator for convenience, covered parking to help keep the car cool, and added storage unit all helped to make the decision of purchasing this property. Location, location, location so they say! I believe we nailed it.

Stayed here for a week with the family and it was an amazing experience. The views of the water are spectacular and there is so much to do right in this area. So many restaurants and ideal if you love water activities. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a week or more! 5-Stars for sure!

Sharon’s condo was absolutely gorgeous! It was super clean upon arrival and had everything we could have needed for our 3 month stay (linens, dishes, pots & pans, cleaning supplies, etc). The interior decor was also super cute and really enhanced the feeling of being in the Keys. The unit is in a complex located directly on the water with a pool and dock that you can hangout at which were stunning and made this place even more enjoyable. Sharon was also super easily contactable and helpful throughout the booking process and entire stay. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to spend my summer.

If you are looking for an affordable quiet get away to the Florida Krys you have found your spot. We loved plantation By the Sea. The condo is beautifully updated and felt like home. It is a quiet community and all of the neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and dock on the oven daily. The location is perfect and central to everything in Islamorada. Sharon and Andrew were wonderful host and I can’t wait to go back in the future and stay again! Recommend 10 out of 10!

From the moment we walked through the door of Unit111, we knew we would be back. The unit is warm and comfortable, all the essentials needed are supplied. All furniture is current and comfortable. Location is beautiful, pool overlooking the ocean. Close proximity to great restaurants and supermarkets. The owner, Sharon, is a pleasure to work with. Any questions or perceived problems, she picks up the phone or gets back to you within minutes. We are already in the process of booking for next year and the year after.
