About the Property
Available Christmas and New Years - two week minimum $675/night. There is a four month minimum stay between January and April
Modern home built in 2004 with heated pool and separate hot tub. The entire backyard is surrounded by 20 foot tall areca palm trees which means you have complete privacy for swimming, showering, etc. Even the hot tub on the second floor deck can't be seen by any neighbors.
The 550 square foot patio next to the pool gives you shade for relaxing on the outdoor sofa with comfortable chairs (one reclines) and enjoying meals on the picnic table. There is a gas bbq and a charcoal bbq too. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water. The pool is heated to 80 degrees at no extra charge by an electric heater - most solar heaters won't reach 80 degrees. The pool is surrounded by marble pavers, has a pebble tec bottom and a waterfall.
There's a hammock and four resort quality lounge chairs by the pool. The backyard faces south so you will always have sunshine. You can even catch an extra hour or two of sun on the 550 square foot second floor deck which is accessed by the master bedroom or one of the guest bedrooms.
All three bedrooms are located upstairs. The washer/dryer is conveniently located upstairs. There's a king size bed in the master suite, a queen size bed in one guest bedroom and a double bed along with a single pull out sleeper sofa in the second guest bedroom. The two guest bedrooms share a bathroom with two sinks.
The living room comfortably seats 6 people with a sectional sofa and a recliner. There's a 55 inch LG OLED tv with Sonos surround sound speakers. I don't have cable tv. The smart tv connects to the fast WIFI in the house for Netflix, etc. You can bring a Firestick or games to plug into the two tv's upstairs - one in the master bedroom and the other in one of the guest bedrooms.
There is also a very good quality elliptical machine and a $15,000 ROM machine (google it) which gives you a full body workout in just a few minutes.
I've been renting out this house (my home) for the past 15 years. I started with which got bought out by VRBO a few years ago and the fees they charge have steadily increased. You can see my excellent guest feedback on house #98080
I don't rent to spring break students, people that smoke inside the house and I don't allow pets. I rent to people who will take care of the house and respect my neighbors.
My personal belongings are in the attic and the garage. Sometimes I leave some of my clothes hanging in the closets. You can't park your car in the garage but you might find some beach chairs or a cooler in there that you can use.
House rented until August 6, 2021

About the owner: I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and moved to Florida in the late 90's. I found a good deal on a nice lot in a great location and built this home as an owner/builder. After Hurricane Wilma (2005) blew a big ficus tree on top of my house, I went all out to design and build a really nice pool. Someone told me about vacation rentals which works for me since I like to travel. I'm active in my community and even ran for mayor more than once to bring attention to important issues such as clean drinking water and police corruption. My website is .
Why this property? Everybody wants privacy. Nobody wants to see windows from a neighbor's home. That's why I went to Homestead, FL and hand picked 30 areca palm tree clusters which are native to Madagascar that were 12 feet tall. Now they are 20-25 feet tall. I love seeing the blue sky from my bed and watching the squirrels chase each other every morning in my neighbor's royal poinsettia tree. I don't know of any other local home with a hot tub on the second floor deck overlooking the pool. I do all the landscaping myself with a little help from my friends. I put in a lot of effort to create a wow factor.
