This expansive 2 story home sits on Lake Tarpon a 2500 acre freshwater lake located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Lake Tarpon is a boating and fishing paradise. The MASTER KING BEDROOM over looks the pool area and the water way beyond. There are walk in closets for storing your personal belongings and a flat screen TV. The large MASTER BATHROOM is tastefully decorated with custom cabinetry, colorful paint scheme, detailed tile work, and a fabulous shower.
The SECOND BEDROOM has a comfortable queen bed and flat screen TV. Walk in closets and wood dressers complete the space.
The THIRD BEDROOM has a comfortable queen bed and flat screen TV. Walk in closets and wood dressers complete the space.
The FOURTH BEDROOM has a comfortable queen bed and flat screen TV. Walk in closets and wood dressers complete the space.
The ground floor FIFTH BEDROOM has a comfortable queen bed and dressers.
The fully equipped KITCHEN has a center island stove and companion breakfast table, custom cabinetry and tremendous lighting. A barbecue and comfortable patio furniture POOL SIDE offer more dining and entertainment choices. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessitates for making fantastic meals.
The splendid FORMAL DINING ROOM is next to the kitchen and has seating for up to 8. The room boasts greek columns and center chandelier. This is as good as it gets for your dining activity.
The MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM is conveniently located centrally and next to the pool.
The DOWNSTAIRS POOL and GAME ROOM is the place to be for a game of pool and family fun. The room is fabulously decorated with movie theme artwork and has an arcade game console with Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Galaga.
Special Note: This property has a maximum guest count of 10 at any time on the property. LOUD MUSIC AND NOISE, PARTIES OR EVENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND QUIET HOURS AFTER 10 PM. This property sits on a quiet water inlet and in close proximity to our neighbors. Please plan your trip accordingly and contact us with any questions or clarifications.
Special Note: Pool is heated (subject to #24 of the home rules published on this site and in your rental agreement) during winter in an attempt to maintain 80-85 degrees, however, pool temps will fluctuate depending on strength and frequency of cold fronts. We do not guarantee any temperature at any time. In winter time, supplemental heating is available for $250.00 per week which involves running the pump and heater for up to 16 hours per day as opposed to the normal 10. We cannot guarantee what temperature will be achieved as it is dependent on the outside temperature. Similarly, pool will often reach over 90 degrees in summer naturally. Guests should consider the forecast in their decision both prior to arrival and during your stay.
The Washer and Dryer is upstairs adjacent to the bedrooms. Ironing board, hair dryer, beach towel and pool toys are provided.
Parking: There is the paved driveway parking that will accommodate up to 3 cars.

It is minutes to no less than eight world-class beaches including Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island, and Caladesi Island rated one of the top 10 beaches in America. Nearby year around attractions such as Innisbrook Golf Club, Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks and Busch Gardens Theme Parks are popular destinations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Cypress Home. The home was plenty big enough for our family. The layout and floor plan was unique. We loved the gaming room, the bigger kitchen area and large dining table. All the rooms were spacious and clean. We also loved sitting on the outside deck playing cards and enjoying the sunshine and water. Thank you. The only disappointing piece was one roll of toilet paper provided per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. We ran out quicker than we thought we would and were not prepared. Would definitely stay again and reccommend to larger groups.

A brilliant stay in a fantastic property. This property has everything we needed for our stay - very clean and well equipped and exceptionally spacious. It was well positioned with nice views of the lake and lovely decking to enjoy the great weather. The swimming pool was clean, warm and a great size.We had a brilliant time in this property and it was exactly as described. James S.Palm Harbor Rental at Lake Tarpon
The house was great with plenty of room. The pool was very warm for this time of the year and there was lots of outdoor space by the water. The kids loved the arcade machine and the adults loved the pool table. The kitchen had a lot of counter space for food prep and lots of storage in the pantry and refrigerator. The kitchen table also flips over and doubles as a card/game table. An added bonus - there are plenty of bathroom and beach towels provided - more than enough for 8 people. Brian at Florida Sun Vacation Rentals was very responsive and even went out of his way to help a family member retrieve an item that was accidentally left behind. I’d highly recommend this property and Florida Sun Vacation Rentals!

We were intrigued by the pictures of the Grand Cypress home and it did not disappoint! We booked this beautiful home for a family vacation, and the spaciousness of the home was perfect. We enjoyed Christmas dinner in the beautiful dining room, and the kitchen was great for entertaining. Unfortunately the weather was cold and we could not enjoy the outdoor patio or the pool until the last two days of the trip; but the outdoor space is a relaxation paradise. The pool was heated and the deck on the canal was so peaceful. The highlight of our day was a family of ducks who would visit at regular intervals and come up to the deck. The beds were very comfortable and all four bedrooms had walk in closets! The pool table and arcade table were perfect entertainment for the whole family!The only recommendations I would make is that the kitchen should have a bigger assortment of dishes, utensils and pots and pans. Our family likes to cook and there were enough dishes and utensils for 8 people; however if the dishes were in the dishwasher, we did not have any extra. I think with the enormous cabinet space, some extra items would have made it easier for large family entertainment. Also an ironing board and a blow dryer would be a nice addition as amenities in the home, along with actual beach/pool towels.We definitely would recommend this home for a family rental and we would love to visit again!

This house was amazing. Beautiful upgrades and filled with entertainment. Our kids enjoyed night swimming in the screened in pool area. While my husband enjoyed the pool table and video game machine. Excellent location, we even rented a boat to explore Lake Tarpon. We can't wait to come back in the spring.
