Our family has stayed in many homes within Emerald Shores but this was the first time we’ve traveled with 11 adults. This home did not disappoint! So much space to be together and still time to be alone if needed. We really enjoyed hanging out on the front screened porch area in the evenings, mornings spent relaxing on one of the desks, and the openness of first floor made game playing and enjoying munchies at night so easy! Location to beach and pool were perfect! Sean responded to any questions we had so quickly and made this one of our BEST vacations! We hope to come back again next year!

Beach house is perfectly located in the middle of Destin/ Miramar Beach with easy access to the outlets and restaurants on one end and groceries/ shopping/ restaurants on the other end. I am not a walker so I expected to drive to the beach but the house was so close, the beach was easily walkable, even pulling a wagon.The house was great, very clean, and fully stocked with everything you could need. Air conditioning was cold, even on the third floor. Washer and dryer are new and ran great. We even used the grill one night for our crab legs!You cannot go wrong with this house. Sean was extremely responsive and easy to work with. He shared check in details well ahead of time so I wasn’t worried on our 9 hour drive in. I already booked for next year, two weeks this time, as a week was not enough.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Emma's Estate. The house itself is lovely and in very good condition. The wagon and beach gear were very helpful. My wife loved the crock pot. The house is about a 4 minute walk from the beach, with a couple nice seafood restaurants within walking distance too. The gated neighborhood is charming and picturesque with nice swimming pools and a tennis court. And, the owner was very quick to address any minor issues that came up. We would definitely look to stay here again!

You're exactly right about the shades; we had new hurricane doors and windows installed in 2022, and afterwards learned that if we reinstalled the old shades, or put any holes/screws in the new doors, it would void both the door warranty and the hurricane protection. We looked around for some that might just adhere to the doors, but none of them looked stalwart enough to put in a rental. We're still looking for something, and appreciate your feedback"

This was our 2nd stay with Sean and Emilie! They are wonderful people! Very helpful, and GREAT communication! The location is amazing, located on the street closest to the beach and less than a block from the main pool! The house is very clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 7. Sean N.First Snow Bird Trip
Emma's Estate was our first time escaping to FL from PA to enjoy the warmer climate for several weeks in the winter. We knew very little about the area, the property and the community. We were very happy with the house, its proximity to the beach, resturants and shopping. The area also boasts several miles of walking paths along the gulf which we made good use of daily. The gated community with private beach access was also a real bonus. I love to cook and the chef's quality stove was also a big plus. We were so impressed with our experience we have already planned a repeat next year. The owners were very responsive to all inquiries and made the entire trip stress free. If I had any suggestions, it would be a refresh of the pots and pans to a little better quality and a set of good quality knives, but still everything was adequate. I usually bring some of my favorite pans and knives and just forgot. Overall our stay was great!

Emma's Estate is a beautiful rental that is perfect for large families or couples. We found everything to be in good condition and it was equipped with everything we needed for the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The swimming pool closest to the house is huge and was never crowded. Thank you Emma and Sean for providing a wonderful retreat!

This home is perfect for a large group ~ lots of room so you’re not on top of one another. Full bath downstairs was amazing ~ it was used more than the upstairs showers. Most well appointed kitchen we have ever seen! Lots of spices and any kind of cooking utensil or pot, pan, food storage ever needed. We utilized the grill twice with steaks one night and hotdogs for lunch one day. It’s a fabulous accessory. We rented a 6 seater golf cart and it was invaluable ~ made for super quick trips to the beach, grocery, restaurants and anywhere else on the Scenic Road you’d need to travel. We parked at Kenny D’s every day at the beach. Let me say this ~ it may look unassuming but the food, prices and service were top notch! It’s close enough that we ordered appetizers (garlic parm and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world) one night when we cooked at home. We wound up renting an umbrella and five chairs at the beach ~ best part was being able to just walk down and everything was already there. Definitely a marvelous week ~ Emilie and Sean make it so smooth. Best owners hands down! Thank y’all so much for opening your home! ️

This is truly a great house and a short walking distance to the beach. We loved the spacious living room and kitchen. The house was very clean and equipped with most all necessities. We loved having dollar general nearby to just ride our bikes and not have to leave the area when we needed something quick. The owners were great to work with and responded to any questions very promptly. We would definitely like to stay here again.

The owner was responsive to all our questions and very friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 small kids. We loved the proximity to the beach (a 5 minute walk) and the fact that a wagon, chairs and beach toys were provided. It was also a 2 minute walk to one of the community pools. The house itself was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was enough starter toilet paper and garbage bags to get us through the first few days which was nice. The location is also super great as it's close to Walmart, Target, Whole foods and a slew of other stores. The one downside is that it's advertised as more bedrooms than there are. There are 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, very spacious and clean. The 2nd and 3rd floor each have a day beds with trundles but there is no door separating them thus would not consider them bedrooms. Wasn't a big deal, but would have been nice to realize this. Also, once booked, the owner does make it clear that there is additional $150 cleaning fee for towels to be laundered off-site, otherwise you as the visitor can wash all the towels and put them away prior to your departure. Considering it's an early check-out (9am) and that you're already paying a $300 cleaning fee, it seems a bit excessive. Also not mentioned is that you do have to pay a one-time $30 fee to use the beach and the pool. Again, not deal-breakers but something to know ahead of time. All in all, we would stay there again in the future as it was a great location for our needs!

This house is perfection - Everything is as described and more! First, the owners are the best I have ever dealt with, and my family has been vacationing in Florida for 35 years. They are very responsive and will make sure every issue is addressed. We did not have any big issues, just some questions about a few things. The neighborhood is perfect for families or singles and very safe. Close to everything you need. If you forget anything Dollar General is right next door- you can walk if you want. The walk to the beach is not bad at all, really about 5 minutes. Bathrooms & refreshments on beach side which is a plus!! The beach chairs & umbrella are very good quality. As for the house - the furniture is nice & comfortable. Lots of great seating in the living room area. You will not need to buy anything to use in the kitchen, the owners have truly provided everything you will need!! Washer & dryer are first class. Beds are very comfortable. You will love all the balconies and the screened in porches. If you are looking for the perfect vacation home- this is it!

The location is a short walk to the beach and the gated community made if very safe for this safety conscious family. The auto-locking coded door entry was a definite bonus with having multiple people staying in the home to ensure safety. The kitchen was greatly stocked with items we wouldn't have even thought of and were able to use during our stay. The owners were very prompt and attentive in making sure everything was to our liking. The only suggestion we had from our stay would be to add a mirror in the other 2 bedrooms to better accommodate with multiple people in the home but the three bathrooms does help. We would definitely stay at Emma's Estate again in the future!

Emma’s Estate was perfect for our 2 months in FL this year. Everything is fully equipped, especially the kitchen! The second and third floor decks have great sun-so relaxing. Neighborhood is beautiful and neighbors are so friendly. Sean is great to work with and responds immediately to our calls. The beach is only a block away!! Emma’s estate was a perfect place for our winter get away!! Will be back!

From door to gate, Emma's Estate is just under 300 yards to the beach! For most people, the walk is a leisurely 5 minute stroll away.
Of course! Kenny D's, Captain Dave's, Pompano Joe's, and Crab Trap Destin are all within about a 15 minute walk from Emma's Estate.
They sure are! Our neighborhood's beach services partner, La Dolce Vita, rents several styles golf carts and they can be driven in the neighborhood and along Scenic 98 for quick and easy transportation to the beach pavilion, restaurants, and other fun places in the area.
